Nicht Zimmer 17 !

Parkplatz in der Nähe gegen Gebühr vorhanden

Das von booking.com angebotene Mehrbettzimmer war eine Zumutung. Es befand sich im Keller ohne jegliches Tageslicht. Das "Bad" bestand aus einem Waschbecken im WC-Raum. Ohne Vorauskasse wären wir sofort wieder abgereist. Der Service beim Frühstück war nicht aufmerksam., Kaffee war aus und wurde nicht nachgefüllt, auch das Brot.wurde nicht nachgelegt

Very good

The apartment was very spacious and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was modern. The oven did not work but we were nicely compensated for that. The bathroom could use a renovation but the rest of the rooms were fresh. The breakfast was nice with waffles, fruits, smoothies, and other yummy stuff. We missed cream cheese on the buffet but otherwise, it was excellent. The location was perfect and the parking was nearby which we liked. We would indeed recommend Villa Borgen!

Ok stay

The breakfast was good - we were offered gluten free bread on request (tho no other gluten free products...). The main building and the location was very nice. The night was peaceful.

The rooms were a bit worn out, dusty and plain. There were teacups but no kettle. The service was not especially friendly.

Nice stay in cozy hotel with great location

Cozy little hotel with typical interiors of the swedish country houses of 18th century, maybe even older.Especially the reception and the brekfast room It is located next to all the restaurants and shops, yet it was really calm place to sleep. Inner court in whoch our room was located, is a pleasant place to relax.

The only minus of the hotel is that we found price/quality a bit expensive, at least for this standard room.

the location is very good and the room was really spacious and well lit. entire surroundings were very pleasant and inviting.

not really a problem but still, the room didn’t have windows but two openings at the top from where sunlight came in. there was ample light in the room of course but we couldn’t close this opening in the night. with longer days, not closing is bad for sleep. maybe the breakfast could have had some more dishes considering what is offered in other similar facilities.

Nice accommodation with sympathic stuff.

The breakfast was rather simple but good. The location was great, in the old city and on a calm place. The personell was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice with a balcony.

The bathroom was very tiny. The walls were gery thin, do when my neighbour had a shower, it was like he was in my room.

A quiet and quaint stay in the heart of a medieval town.

The hotel was a nice little retreat. All the rooms are off of a cute little interior courtyard. The space is green and a pleasant spot to walk through every time.

The room was a little small and some of the features of the room were out of date. Had a small mini fridge that couldn't fit much, and only a small portable radiator. It was fine for our short visit, but if you were planning a long stay it might be hard to live out of for a longer period.

Junior suite maybe not worth it

Excellent location, friendly staff, very cozy breakfast room and good breakfast. Nice interior design both in the room and the rest of the hotel.

Quite an old bathroom which was cold inside and low pressure in the shower head. The room was quite cold as well. The bed was joint single beds despite the room being a junior suite. Finally, the entrance and bathroom were separated from the rest of the room by stairs which was inconvenient.

A few inconviences

The breakfast was very nice and cozy. We were also able to leave our bags at the front desk during the time before we could check in. Also, there was a balcony which we very much enjoyed.

The room was very dusty and in the three nights we stayed there we never once received the cleaning service in our rooms, despite asking for it. We received just new towels our day and the next day they change the bedsheets, but left the dirty mugs, the dirty wine glasses, and the empty soap container without replacing them! For one night, this is a great spot. But if you have a longer trip you should maybe choose a different hotel. The bed wasn't very comfortable either.

This hotel was my favorite during my trip with a perfect location, and unique atmosphere.

This hotel was my favorite during my trip. The location - right in the middle of VIsby walled city - was ideal. The staff were all pleasant and super-helpful. The building was unique, with a very impressive arched entrance with wood door, and a lovely patio garden. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Good location, rooms unbearably hot

Very friendly and efficient staf, perfect location (within the walls, near the South Gate, and 5 mins walking from the bus station).

Rooms where very hot and difficult to air. Outside was 25-27C, inside unbearable (room 21, first floor, backside). I slept with the window wide open and curtains up and that made that the temperature was OK in the morning. But of course also woke at 05:30 as it became very light.
