Great sized room in a lovely building. Nice garden and space.
Cooked Breakfast took a long to arrive and friends had to eat theirs before ours arrived.
Leak from room above onto bed, which given stain on ceiling had been happening previously.

Room was lovely and comfortable with modern bathroom and fresh bed linens. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking.
Sorry but there are more negatives than positives. We decided to eat in due to late arrival. Food was below average and limited choice. We were refunded a main and our desserts due to poor quality. Breakfast (for which we paid £15 each) was worse. Staff were very obliging but the food and drink quality was bad. Certainly not value for money.
The bathroom sink in my room had not been cleaned and my daughter’s bedroom door would not latch properly so was unlocked all night.
Very short staffed. Lovely receptionist had to also be bartender, waitress and all while training a new staff member

Staff really friendly and helpful- went out of their way to help us
There was an unpleasant smell in our ensuite bathroom- possibly drainage. Staff receptionist tried to resolve immediately but it was there again overnight

Bathroom looked recently well fitted - but when showering the drain didn't run away quick enough and overflowed, flooding bathroom
Tiny room, difficult to even walk past the bed, and too cramped to use the desk.
Restaraunt & bar closed both evenings I was there.
At breakfast had to wait for urn to heat up before I could even get a cup of tea.
About a mile out of town, which restricted places to eat, as their restaurant was closed.

Great location, good looking hotel & good value.
Shower was hot and pressure immense.
Bathroom a tad dated and not been cleaned properly as dirty tissues in the bin etc.
Walls paper thin could hear the guy snoring next door was like a walrus vibrating into my room.

Location was ideal for me. Breakfast and the young man who was serving was good.
Reception / ist - all lot is to be desired when walking in. Standing in the reception for 5 mins before I saw someone. Then they said they did not have the room I had pre booked, tried to charge me extra. Lots of excuses, no professionalism at all and effectively it feels as though you are bother to them. Restaurant was not open, bar was empty and no staff. The bathroom has very old water stains and dirt marks all up the walls. It feels quite unclean and uncared for. I would not go again.

location close to worcester
rooms extremely small, facilities nil, double bed too small, very noisy all night, people standing below our window talking loudly until after midnight, stomping on stairs, no sound proofiing, very uncomfortable

Great room, recently refurbished. Plenty of space, really comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also plenty of off road parking.
Nothing to dislike.

Location was really convenient for us and the bed was very comfortable
The bedroom was in a poor state of decoration- severe water stains on all the walls and some mound stains around the shower and bath.

Great room and friendly staff
More of a choice on the menu

Staff were friendly
We were charged on arrival, then booking.com charged us again. Quiet location but very noisy building. The plumbing was very loud every time anyone ran the bathroom tap, walls were thin, could hear others snoring. Beds need some wd40 on them. On arrival receptionist didn't know how long we were staying and whether we had breakfast included.

the location was ideal
The radiators in the room were turned off i had to ask 3 times for them to be turned on as it could not be done in the room

Because it was a Monday and quiet I was upgraded from a single to a Superior Heritage Double room - which made the stay even better for value and comfort. The bed was very comfy the bathroom had a lovely deep bath and the room was heated with air conditioning that you can control yourself. Although the restaurant was closed in the evening the hotel was well placed for accessing other restaurants nearby. I liked this hotel as it is a historic building with some original features which gives it a lot more character than most. The staff were very helpful , genuine and friendly.

Beautiful property in a perfect location
The shelf above the basin in the shower room made it almost impossible to wash without soaking the floor
Couldn’t add food/drink to room so had to pay separately
Both very minor and didn’t detract from the stay in any way

Receptionists need complete training. E. Mails , three messages , all unanswered. These we’re requests to reserve evening meal on arrival date.
Checked in , no table , no chef, advised to try local pub.kitchen closed at 16-00 . Had to drive around on Xmas Eve to find somewhere to eat.
Completely unacceptable !

We had a very comfortable and large room. The attention from staff was great and they were welcoming and friendly. The hot breakfast was divine.
Our stay was excellent. The only fault we noticed was a couple cob webs on windows and window sills. Everything else was clean and we were really happy and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Clean and tidy, polite staff
