The location was perfect and handy to everything.
The rooms were very small and was difficult to have two large suitcases in the room. Bathroom was tiny and with no shower screen the whole floor got wet

Very good full options free breakfast. Plenty of eating places in the D' Horloge Square. A short walk from the train station.
On check in given a room very small and on different levels within that room, at least 2. Asked for a bigger room which was possible if I paid another 20 euros a night. I agreed and got a better bigger room that was on one level within the room on another floor. This hotel did a DEBIT card pre authorisation for 1 night unbeknowns to me when I checked in. They said I could pay on checkout but I do prefer to pay upfront. I discovered the pre-authorisation when I checked my DEBIT card account online. I stayed at 4 different hotels during my France trip and this was the only hotel to do a pre authorisation which locks up the funds until it is cancelled. I mention this because at the time of writing this review I still have not had the pre authoristion funds released. That is not the hotels fault but I argue the pre-authorisation should not have been done in the first place. I used a Qantas Money card which has funds deposited by me, they are not credit funds. I finally got through to the Qantas call centre when I retuned to Australia who told me their policy is not to cancel pre-authorisations for 30 days. !!!
So the funds locked up I could not use for the last night at my final hotel in Paris and had to find alternative methods. I will not be able to access 143.10 euros until 23rd Sept. after I convert them back into Australian dollars. The other issue I have with this Booking.com booking is the distance between the hotel and the sporting event I attended each day. The booking.com website said the distance was under 2 km but after I booked in I found out the distance was near to 5 kms. Consequently I had to spend money on taxis to and from the event.
Despite given directions to the hotel from the train station after arriving in Avignon there was no signage along the main street indicating its location. After getting more closer directions I finally found the entrance in between 2 buildings halfway down a laneway. There could be better signage to indicate the entrance.

The room is not bad, the cleaning staff got some terrible mental issues, and this hotel is problematic

Quaint little hotel in a fantastic location.
Rooms are tiny so it can be difficult to manoeuvre around a big suitcase.

Excellent location, good breakfast but needs to be renovated
Old decoration , dark room due to the effect of the decoration , without updating the style and comfort .

The room was to side street, which implied less street noise. The location is good, but one needs very clear instructions how to get there by car, as many little roads are not acessible by nonresident cars.
The hotel has a somber atmosphere, due to its interior design. The staff's performance varies a lot: some are very helpful and polite, others are rude and couldn't care less.

Location perfect. Air conditioning great, breakfast super. staff very friendly. Nice common areas to sit and relax.
photos misleading about furniture in room. those are common area’s, but not disappointed. still recommend the place.
shower did not give that much water (room 208) and might need servicing.

Lovely large room with a very comfortable bed. Very clean. Location is great, right in the centre of the old town. Nice breakfast in a pleasant room.
Staff were not especially welcoming, and the water in the minibar was not replaced.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I appreciated that including referring me to a car service for airport pick up, and the delicious breakfast including ample hours it was available most. The room was small but adequate. The side street was semi-quiet but good enough. Location superb, just what I wanted. Three problems confronted me. 1) I have knee problems so having 2 steps into the bathroom from the room level was difficult especially since there was no railing to help. 2) The toilet was squeezed into the space; if I had been much bigger it would have been a problem. Having the toilet roll BEHIND one was impossible! I could see where the holder had been before remodeling; please put it there again. There is no way I could use toilet paper from a roll behind me. The shower opening had no closure; very disconcerting to one not used to that; I do not like water all over the floor so I had to be exceedingly careful. 3) For foreigners the working of the light switches is problematic even though I have traveled extensively throughout Europe but I thought I had it right when I had it the opposite. A sign at the main light switch with instructions could clarify this for everyone. The staff did give me a discount from my bill, which wasn't really necessary but very thoughtful. That's why the staff get top marks, but the facilities do not. All the amenities (towels, etc.) were top rate. Thanks! I'm glad I chose this hotel.
see above. I will copy & paste it here as well.

The hotel was tastefully furnished in France countryside style, and was really cute and clean. It was really comfortable staying there. The staff were also super helpful. The hotel is within 10 mins’ walking distance for Avignon Center Station.

Great, very helpful and friendly staff, great location.
Bathroom needs updating. Very worn out. The terrace adjoining the room has been miss-sold, misrepresented. On booking.com pictures show terrace with view. All we got with our room was the view of a concrete terrace wall. No views of the city.
