Way to expensive for a outdated spot, with no facilities at all.

Size of the room

No facilities at all. No coffee anything (Nespresso/water cooker), no shampoo. Very dated, stains on stairs, carpet so so. Way to expensive for the offered facilities.

The fact that there was no breakfast. I had to go to another hotel to get coffee. Maybe add some coffee machine in the lobby.

Exceptional

Very spacious comfortable room. They property was very responsive to questions asked via messaging and by phone. Very friendly staff who Gabe us recommendations for good and activities.

Not easily walkable from the train station, particularly with luggage. Still, it's an easy walk to the center of town.

Could not ask for a kinder host.

Location is very quiet - mostly we heard bird song - yet just a short walk to the Kurhaus concert hall. Every time a little issue came up, the host fixed it quickly and with no hassle at all. Be sure to get a Guest Card which entitles you to free bus travel to places like Murnau. You can choose which breakfast place you prefer. There are several to choose from, except on Sunday.

Minor problems with shower and toilet, but they didn't stop us enjoying the time.

Location very convenient to shops etc. Space very comfortable, beds especially comfortable. Lovely shower

It would be good if shower gel and shampoo were provided. A kettle and fridge with cups would be ideal for relaxing and would complete the home from home feel. But everything else was excellent

Sadly no kettle or catering facilities. A noisy fridge in the bedroom. Cobwebs & dust behind all furniture.

Passable

The location was good, it was close to the town centre. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Bathroom was clogged up and it wasn't clean enough. Some of the door locks were faulty, they were a nightmare to open. It was over priced as well.

Exceptional

We had an excellent stay at Villa am Park. Our room was spacious and quiet and from our window we even saw cows grazing. Check in and check out was smooth and we had a parking space directly in front of the house. Great, quiet location to explore Bad Toelz and surroundings. Excellent value for money.

Classy villa in a peaceful part of the city

Villa itself is a beautiful structure, very elegant and classy. The parking provided in front is very convenient. This is a very spacious accommodation, with plenty of space for your luggage for example, which does not always happen in a hotel room. The bathroom is also big, and it looks great. The bed is comfortable, the view is great, and it is a very peaceful area. It is within a walking distance to everything in Bad Tölz. The city is a proper gem and it is worth visiting and exploring. We enjoyed our stay here, danke!

The towels were mismatched and rough to the touch. I suggest to invest in nicer, softer towels.

An old villa is allways very charming to stay for a break

The lack of a typical reception and staff is a novelty. But then it feels it is like coming home without inquisitive looks from the r counter

Short. Sufficient.

The one staff responsible was very good - Andreas. He was warm, friendly and accommodating. Just really pleasant to communicate with. He was very quick to respond to all questions and requests.

Too many stairs. Windows are too high to enjoy a view.

bad parking, noisy rooms, lots of space in the room

Big Room

Too much noise from the rest of the building seeped into the room, the proprietor sprung on me the fact that there was no space for my car on their property and I have to use public parking outside the property. During travelling there are very few things that irritate me more than a accommodation proprietor looking at me and being like: "Is that a god damn car you brought with you?!?!??!?!?"

Beautiful villa in a quiet location, easy online check in, no key, only code. Host sent all infos via email and is available via phone. Option to have a breakfast in the hotel nearby (2 min walk). Perfect!

Superb

The lock system of main door and room, so that no worries about the keys. The dimension of the room and the available space for everything!!! The windows: with light outside, the room had a wonderful illumination!

The carpeting as I just don't likes it (even if I think it functional for noises). The shower was quite old with visibile limestone.

Pleasant

I cannot rate this accommodation as we were moved to another hotel due to the event. It was promised a better accommodation but it was only average. Generally there was no problem with parking and the restaurants and cafes in the town were very good. The location is beautiful, but since it is a quiet spa town, it is more suited as a starting point for trips to the surrounding area. You can see the town in one day. I rate it as average, neither bad nor particularly good.

Generally in this price range, the hotels and their facilities are older, specifically our room smelled, apparently it had been smoked in before and you could smell it from the old furniture.

Well located, guests are left to their own devices and that is good, no fussing. All arrangements are handled digitally, no keys, only number locks, cheap parking.

It could use a do over, everything is clean and tidy but old.

great owners and staff compensated for outdated look and old furniture and fittings.

premises were clean, large and well organized. I liked the numberlock on all doors making keys unneccessary.

The whole facility breathes outdated. Furniture and look and feel are sparse and old.
