Der Blick auf das Opernhaus. Das Frühstücksbuffet.
1.5

*Old fashion.
*no table beside my bed even there was a place for
*this is not reflecting a 4* hotel
*Air conditioning was set centrally and not possible to fine tune for the room
*room 210 has a very old window, this should be replaced
*they charge you 18EUR for the parking which is in fact in the street behind a fence, not secure.
*We had some flees in the bed
*Reception people not kind
*Breakfast buffet ok.
*Breakfast waiter very kind

Location, clean room
Extra charge for dog stay - 10€ per night, and parking -18€ per night, never mentioned in the advert. Super overpriced and definitely won’t be back there because of that

Spacious, nice and clean room. Friendly staff. Located at the heart of the city in a leafy area.
Parking can be an issue.

The chek out was at 12 but at 10: 45 the housekeeper came and tell us I want to clean and his behaviour wasn't nice

Overall a pleasant short stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, breakfast was satisfactory. Location is perfect, accross a classical theater building, malls and shops, innenhafen is 10-15 min walk.
There was a strange sewage smell when you enter the hotel the first day, it was less the second day.
Also, it would be great if the hotel can place a dedicated smoker corner outside as faaaaar away as possible from the main entrance as we were greeted by cigarette smoke almost each time we enter or go out.

location near motorway and shops
staff not friendly (but professional)
inadequate information - restaurant closed but no indication of this at all in hotel

Breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is well located next to the opera and easy too walk to on foot from the main train station.
The Standard Double Room was spartan and atmospherically cold - not even one picture on any wall!
Pillows were lacking in any substance. No extra pillows or blankets were available in the room. The towels were fraying and were changed every day despite claims that towels not on the floor would not be changed.
We were particularly disappointed that we were only informed upon check-in that the restaurant and bar were closed during the Christmas/New Year break. This could have been indicated in advance on the website and booking.com profile.

Reserved a spa room got upgraded to the wellness room which is simply superb. Sauna and jacuzzi after a long day at Amsterdam priceless.
No need to look for another hotel next time.
