Helles Parkhaus in unmittelbarer Nähe.

I had to leave 2 days early for a family emergency but got no refund as I booked through booking.com and not directly with the hotel

The room was really quite big, a big storage space available if we would have needed it, bed very nice, clean walk in shower. The reception was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There is a night shop right next door if you need to pick anything up, and all the night time places are right there so you can easily go home at the end of the night without having to rely on a taxi. Nice big parking garage one street over that had good security.
The room was really dark. Even with the curtains opened, and the lights all on, it was really dark. The light in the bathroom wasn't great either. We were two ladies travelling together and it was hard to find good lighting to do make up, and even then we went back and forth between the hall and the bathroom and in front of the window trying to make sure it was ok.

Super central location in the heart of the pub area of Bochum. It will likely be noisy though if you want to keep the windows open. Very large room with modern artsy deco. Good breakfast (extra) and very good tapas restaurant in house. Parking right across the street (parking garage, has to be paid extra, 14 Euros max. per day). Restaurant has a nice vibe. It's where friends and families meet for having good food and conversations.
Staff was overwhelmed and service was very slow for breakfast.

location
There is a fan that shouldn't even exist because it produces no wind. The unbearable summer heat, the window ventilation and the fan are simply useless. I value sustainability, yes, but there are situations where you simply cannot have any way of alleviating the heat at night - neither wind nor a good appliance.

The staff was very kind, the room was very large and nice. The presence of a good quality restaurant in the same structure was very appreciated. The bar was working all day log and the location is very close to the railway station. The price is adequate for the level of service.
There were just only two thin pilllows for two persons... Absolutely uncomfortable at least for me. Moreover, in the shower there is no place to put soap or the necessary things for bathing.

The kind staff.
There was no AC in the room, the room was very hot.

Family room was big and confortable
The room was right above the 'movida', quite loud at night

Lovely hotel in the Bermuda3Eck (pub street), walking distance from the main train station.
Beautiful, comfortable, and clean rooms.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Cozy restaurant serving tasty food (with many choices for both breakfast and the other meals).
Waitresses and waiters also super friendly.
Despite being located just opposite the main "pub street" of Bochum, we had no problem with noise in the night (even with open windows).
Overall it was a wonderful stay. We'll definitely come back and recommend to friends.
It was all great :-)

Placed in the middle of "Bermuda's Triangle" , it is perfect to arrive walking to the complete Bochum center avoiding the car ... Although the hotel does not have private parking, there is a public one right in front (20 m) with spacious and guarded parking spaces. Breakfast can't be missed
The space for the hotel reception is minimal, and it is located in an extension of the bar counter, so, when there is more than one expected client, the whole area becomes a bit congested

The bed, at least in bigger rooms is great. The tapas restaurant below
It is right in the party district and the walls are paper thin. At least on a Friday night it is pretty loud with disco music

Nice attentive staff and perfect location
Dusty and not clean room with very very basic fitout.
Very old and not "art" at all
