Big room, away from the street. Quiet rural environment, yet close to the A7 motorway.
Good restaurant.
Parking is a little complicated.

The breakfast is very good.
The courtins that block the light in the morning of the windows didn't work.
4.0 / 10.0
1) breakfast is various
2) place is quite
3) my room (n.100) was quite large
1) basically all the nices photos of internal spaces or wintergarden you see on Bookings are referring to spaces you will not able to use/access because reserved by private events (weddings, birthdays, company events....). And it is clear that those events are not an exception but ordinary in this structure. In my stay i could only use my room and breakfast room (which is not settled in wintergarden or in a room facing some idillic and green area as you might expect and hope from photos but it is facing the street side
2) i would have expected the outside part much more organized with seats and tables
3) rooms are in a separate building from the breakfast room, so you have to go outside first. To be known ahead expecially if season is not warm.
4) building with rooms are built in concrete, a completely different look & feel from the rest (the nice red bricks)
5) many rooms are facing parking area.
Not expected from price and photos. And intentionally not well written in the room description on Booking ("view=view")
6) 2 single bed but i booked for a room with 1 large couple bed (....and yes i know i shluld have complained on the fly to get a room change but i was late for a concert)
7) overall 165€/night is overpriced

very close to the highway, clean and safe premises, free parking, very good breakfast, quiet and surrounded by nature
very confusing layout, nobody showed us to the next building or where to park or how to get inside the building, food was very average even though our waiter was very friendly

No air conditioning and it was very hot. Breakfast buffet had very few options for vegetarians and none for vegans.

Bad isolation (very noisy) and basic

The rooms were newly renovated and luxurious, super comfortable beds too. Breakfast was so out of this world the it was like a 5* hotel with loads off options and the whole place made us wonder if I had got the price right as it was amazing.
Nothing could be improved better than it was. It was simply fantastic throughout. If i had to force myself to find the tiniest thing, it would be that the whirlpool and sauna were open longer other than 5pm-9pm.

the property sits on what appears to be a farm/smallholding with horses, deer etc - very quaint and provides some additional scenery.
the breakfast isn’t bad but is nothing to write home about.
not many ‘likes’.
No Air Conditioning!!! in the height of Summer it was horrible - especially after a long drive.
we ended up having to move rooms because of a lack of curtains in another … it was just as hot!
Don’t be fooled by the ‘EV Charger’- no one knows how to use it/maintain it etc. a slow and (privately owned by an outside individual from the hotel) - be careful!
Cleanliness is clearly not regarded as a priority here.

The receptionist, Mr Hüssing (am sorry if i didn’t get it right) was extremely helpful & friendly! The room on the ground floor was very quiet & had a lovely view with animals. The location isn’t central but no problem with the bus just a few meters away.
All was great!

Close to Autobahn, free parking.
No ventilation or AC, consequently, a bad smell in room (room 31). Uncomfortable beds. Overpriced restaurant.
8.0 / 10.0
Big room and comfy beds. Room and bath room was clean. Nice that the restaurant was open when we arrived. The food was good.
Room was nice, but the bath room was a bit old and worn- could use a shining up. It was a bit noisy because there was a wedding ot two going on.
