Das gute, alte Spitz - heruntergekommen.

Wenigstens kein versiffter Teppichboden - wie im Flur- im Zimmer.

Es scheint, als ob die Booking.com-Kunden immer die schlechtesten Zimmer bekommen. Zur lauten Straße hin, extrem verschmutzte Fenster Der Dusch- und Waschbereich ist nur durch eine Glaswand vom Bett getrennt, Das „Kunstwerk“ hinter dem Bett - zum Alpträume kriegen!

2nd Stay at the arte Hotel Linz - with my son this time

I was in Linz taking my eldest son back to Johannes Kepler University accompanied with my youngest son. After dropping him off at the Uni, me and James stayed at the arte Hotel. I stayed before with my wife on a previous trip. It is in a convenient location to the University, the Old Town, and mostly the trams. It is also in a quiet street just off one of the main streets. Easy to walk to the tram . Easy to walk across the bridge to town. The room size was good, price okay. Toilet was separate to the shower - perfect. The shower was not particularly private (!); not an issue with me but was for my son. Hey-ho, we managed. Bed was comfortable.

All was fine with our stay.

Excellent stuff, delicious rich breakfast, they have their own parking which is very convenient. At night it's absolutely silent in the neighborhood. The room itself was stylish and well-equipped.

Nothing that was bad. It might be nice to add some additional staff to the room like kettle, complimentary tea/coffee bags and other small things.

The staff was absolutely lovely, the room was extremely clean. The location was nice just accross from the town centre. The place is very quiet.

The art concept was not evident and the main art piece was missing as far as we think. The bed was not the best we had during our trip. We thought the breakfast at 18€/pp was a bit highly priced when added to the price of the room.

The hotel is good. bedroom was smaller than te same hotel in Salzburg. Breakfast was good but they were very strict closing at 10 am. The male staff was very nice Location close to the center

We had a pleasant stay in this Hotel. They spoke English well. Good price/value. Perfect location 10 minutes walk from the centre, nice rooms and an ideal breakfast. Luckily our room didn't have transparent bathroom walls as pictured. Toiletries, towels, hairdryer are provided. Breakfast is more than perfect with lots of quality options for every taste: cold cuts, cheese and for vegetarians as well, we couldn't try everything during our 3-day stay.

When we arrived (20 minutes before check-in time) we got our key to the room but it was not ready, so we had to go back to reception and wait until they cleaned it. The receptionists were arguing with each other in German we didn't fully understand, something about upgrading our room or letting us wait. In the end, they said, "Yes, we arrived before check-in time, so it's expected" in a mean tone. I found this unprofessional. On other days, the receptionists were helpful and friendly.

Good location, close to the museums and the city center. Stuff were polite and helpful.

The room was not clean enough, black mold in the shower. The breakfast could be better for 17 EUR.

The location

Cleaness was not a Strong point for this hotel as well as the amneties in the bedroom. Strangely there was a shared balcony for all the bedrooms facing backyard what was really a twilight idea, never have seen that. The lack of fresh bread at breakfast was another issue.
