Great location, spacious rooms and lovely breakfast

The room was really big and comfortable, perfect for a longer stay. Towels and water were refreshed everyday which was an extra plus. The breakfast had great variety and fresh local dishes were made by the lovely ayi every morning. The location was also great in the centre of SIP.

The gym facilities could have been a bit better

Great location, nice place, Kitchen is great, breakfast is simple. :)

he receptions desk are superb. Nice Coffee that kept me alive. The room are nice, 1 bed and 1 sofa bed. Very well set up kitchen, bathroom. Great TV channels and a nice balcony with lovely views. Special thanks to the welcoming desk receptions (Lady) who serve us super well at 4am, i am sorry that i dun remember her name. Thank you also to Abble, Travis and Kikky too who also serve us super well during the 5 days. There is a mini mart 2 minutes walking.

Please indicate the back entrance location, because the front door is an exit and no vehicles can enter. Because car can't enter from the front entrance and if you are having lots of luggage and with a wheelchair, with drivers who are not very nice, you will be drop at the roadside :) Here should be the correct drop point. Good location, but old, smelly facilities.

The location was very convenient, 800m from a metro station, and within walking distance to the main shopping centre, Dong Fang Zhi Men. Breakfast was also wholesome with lots of veggies and healthy foods. The staff worked very hard to serve the customers (calling taxis, serve foods etc) although nobody was able to speak fluent English.

The place was very run down. It looked like major maintenance/ modernization works stopped 15 years ago, and the place seemed neglected to run down. The shower room and carpet were stinky, and bugs roamed around. I realized it was because of leaky bath tub that caused dampness and fungus smell. Also the room smelled like an ash tray, there was an ash tray. They told me that I had to make a "special request" for a non-smoking room when booking. I felt like the clock had stopped at year 2000. The entrance to the apartment by car was also very confusing - the entrance was actually on another parallel street, and you had to find little alley ways around parked cars to reach the entrance. The elevator ride was little bumpy and each day, one unit was not in operation and mechanic was working on it. The room card reader on the elevator and my room door were not reliable, so I had to swipe multiple times to get them registered. Frustrating experience. Nevertheless, I thank the staff at the reception working hard to support customers although non of them could speak much English - they had to use translator Apps to figure out things.

Spacious, clean, friendly and with a great view.

Super friendly, helpful and English speaking staff. Restaurants, bars and the lake nearby. Spacious and clean apartment with a great view.

No own parking spaces. However, there is an underground parking garage on the opposite side of the road (about 50 RMB for one night).

convenient, questionable service exacerbated by covid

Great facilities and location

Staff did not communicate Covid related information - e. g. gate closures making it difficult to access the hotel and were unable to provide clear, accurate information when aaked. During my stay everyone had to queue for PCR tests at 7am on two consecutive mornings. I was only informed about the second round of testing. Despite using the 'Do not disturb' sign I was repeatedly interrupted by staff knocking, shouting and calling (as many as 4 separate times each day) to confirm whether I really wanted not to be disturbed or actually secretly wanted the room to be cleaned.

Great place, but not at winter

The hotel is beautiful, the staff speaks English and there is complimentary breakfast (both Western and Chinese) and a breathtaking view over the city. The room was spacious and had a kitchen, a bathtub, a mini refrigerator, very comfortable.

Two things: 1. living there you need to consider the fact it is not close to city center or subway, so it's either taxi or bus. 2. Specifically for winter: we stayed at the top floor and perhaps there was no one living there for several days, but when we returned to the room after a day exploring the city, the room was FROZEN. It took us an hour at least sitting in our coats and sweaters to heat it up enough for us to change clothes. This is something the hotel should consider, as the A/C is pretty bad at heating up.

House keeping could be quieter in the morning as it disturbed my sleep!

I am delighted with my stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean, bright and spacious. During my stay I enjoyed the view. The location of the hotel is excellent, the metro is nearby. The staff is friendly! Thank you very much! I will definitely live here next time!

Nice plan to stay other than the incident mentioned above.

Location was v good and quite. Breakfast could have more selections. The room cleaners were excellent and very kind.

A cleaner was cleaning the chairs outside the hotel, beside the road where we can sit and smoke. She pick-up bottles and c butts and just throwing it towards the road - not a good thing to do. This action by the staff shows that Management needs to train the staff and be more observant.

Very easy going hotel. Nothing but a very nice place to stay in a great location. Always my place in Suzhou….

Can’t say much to dislike. The security at the front gate is very busy and it can be a wait to get in, but once in, it’s just what I like.

The entrance is a bit awkward if you have got many suitcases. The driver will have to go a long way to find the east entrance , go through all the many blocks of building before finding a drop off right outside the real front door ! Otherwise everything is ok .

I had to leave early and they were unable to provide me with any breakfast, even uncooked items like bread or fruit.

Clean and cozy, amazing view of the city!! Great location, quiet and beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees etc. We enjoyed our stay very much!! Will definitely book again.
