Very close to the railway station for our planned trip to san Gimginano ( if walking go through the under pass ) we didn't at first and got lost restaurant food was excellent and reasonably priced with great service. The family room was spacious clean and comfortable, a good selection of breakfast options, all the staff in the hotel were courteous professional and friendly. I must mention the wonderful RENE at the front reception anything wasn't a problem always had a cheerful smile even under pressure every hotel needs a Rene .Thankyou
The bed pillows were cheap and thus flat and uncomfortable. Leak from the roof (5th floor) running down the bathroom wall ,and English tea 🍵 why is it such a problem == large tea pot two tea bags with a lid to keep hot ,small jug for the milk

I liked the breakfast, lots of choice and was until 10am- quite late. So, I didn't have the pressure to wake up very early for the breakfast.
I have received little discount for the restaurant- I didn't use it but was lovely.
I didn't like the hairdryer, was way too weak but I imagine that it's everywhere the same.

Benjamin was absolutely delightful. Best host ever. All the staff was nice. Comfortable rooms, great location. Free parking.
Construction on roof and around property, very loud and disriptive. TV had very few channels.

The staff is very helpful and the restaurant that is the part of the hotel is family owned and the food is good. The breakfast is amazing, so we definitely recommend taking it! The restaurant staff is beyond nice and professional and the music there is live, which is such a nice experience.
The bathrooms and the room design is a bit outdated, but everything is clean and well preserved!! The only thing we did not expect is that, even though there are many food options in the city, most of them are take-out places and there is little to no restaurants- especially if you dont reserve a table a day or two in advance. Luckily, as a hotel guest you get a restaurant discount, and you can come as is, and the food is really good. There are meat and vegetarian options offered even though it is a fish restaurant, which is amazing!!

It wasn't until I arrived that I realised I had stayed here 11 years ago while working in Italy.
Close enough to the centre of town to walk comfortably (easy reach of bus and train station)
The staff were very knowledgable and efficient
Breakfast was very good
The breakfast coffee machine

The hotel was very clean. Personal was helpful. the location of the hotel is in a small town at the senter of Toscana so it is easy to do day trips to the the region.

Exceptional location, at a short distance from both the train station and the area with restaurants. The room was also very dark and quiet.
The rooms have no mosquito nets, and it turns out that this region of Tuscany has a lot of mosquitoes in early autumn. I opened the window to let some fresh air in at dusk, and was punished with having to hunt and kill five of the pesky things before going to bed. If you go there, leave your windows closed.

This hotel has a very good restaurant and the staff in there were very friendly. We didn't have breakfast. Check-out at reception was a very helpful and efficient man.
Reception on arrival. Check-in was slow and not at all welcoming. We arrived after a long drive and were made to feel most unwelcome - maybe it was a language difficulty or unsmiling face!

Nice, spacious room, good parking, great value for the money. The staff was courteous and efficient (apart from a minor problem with our pets: see the didn't like section). Restaurant is good and reasonably priced.
Minor peeve: I wrote that we would arrive with pets, and received no response. In the hotel they "discovered" I had the two dogs, and told me of extra charges for them. Nothing really major, but please do read what the client writes in special requests.

The room
Everything was great there was nothing to dislike

very good location and accessible to visit around the region
A little bit dated and some bedrooms need updating - breakfast could do with a new coffee machine , a good hot water dispenser and a toaster - a change like this will make a huge difference in breakfast
Staff were very nice and helpful. my thanks to Samanta and the other lady receptionist ( my apologies - can’t remember the name ) were very helpful and promptly changed my room which I wasn’t comfortable with.

The staff, the mattress, good value for the money
The shower (water leaked from under the shower screen), but it wasn't a big deal

The room wasn't a newer one what we saw in the photo
The bathroom ewas really oldschool.
Cleaning wasn't perfect, there was dust on a lot of place.
The parking for a plus price is very narrow if you arr not with a Fiat 500.
The hotel room was very loud. Loud from the restaurant and from the street.
5.0 / 5.0
Location, great staff, breakfast, comfort, laundry service.
Tea/coffee facilities in room would be good, an iron to straighten clothes when unpacking (€2.50 to only iron a t-shirt is overpriced when for €0.50 more they wash and dry it too)
