Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to good restaurants nearby as well, at least 4 within 2 mins walking.
Wifi was very poor in the room.
Also there is a daily charge for parking your car there.

This is the best secret place...right on the beach in a little cove..The parking guy was great as he drove my car into the garage to make sure it was in a safe spot. The room was clean and nice view. The breakfast at the Alfonso was good with a nice selection. I did not eat dinner there but at a restaurant nearby.
Be careful when ordering fish at local restaurants..I thought that given we were on the water that the local restaurants would have fresh fish. I ordered fish and it came on a plate with a few salad sprigs on top..the fish was 42 Euros and the sprigs were 8 Euros..I thought I was seeing things..but no...that was the price. It is a long walk up the road to catch the bus on the main route to Positano. Would recommend the boat taxi.

The room with a sea level was incredible. Having breakfast included is super nice. Having a few bars and restaurants nearby was super nice. The shower is incredible!
If the weather is windy or rain while you’re here you’re stuck here. Which is what happened to us. No water taxis, barely any regular taxis. We had to miss out on a lot in the Coast because it was so in the middle of nowhere. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. The beach was nothing to write home about & they charge you to use it which seems so ridiculous considering how expensive it was.

Nothing - it was awesome

The location is right against the beautiful Marina di Praia beach, and the cove is incredibly beautiful and a satisfying place to stay. Additionally, the room decor was gorgeous and the bathroom was large and very clean. There was a wardrobe big enough for us to tuck away our backpacking gear, and we felt very at home in the space.
I recommend that you bring bug spray to the hotel. We found multiple mosquitos in our room and woke up with bug bites, even though we had the window and door closed at all times. Something else that is pretty common but still kind of shady is that you don't have a discount on the beach chairs operated by the hotel, so be prepared to spend 35 euros on a pair of chairs. Additionally, it would be great if the hotel could run shuttles to drop off travelers with bags at the top of the hill where the bus stops, because it's a 200 meter walk straight down into the cove from the cliffside highway. Travelers with mobility issues be careful. Personally, we enjoyed hiking into town from the pathways, but as always in Amalfi: be ready to climb scores of stairs.

the location
the covers on the beds.
that we couldn’t chose our table when having our breakfast - the best thing about this hotel is the beach and we couldn’t sit outside. really a downer.

The location was great and the room was recently renovated and very clean.
The breakfast was extremely underwhelming, however.

Beautiful position and friendly and capable staff. Parking onsite was a bonus and position is difficult. Facilities and restaurant were very welcome and great to see
There were issues with Wifi but the staff attempted to resolve those. Breakfast was adequate but could have had a little more choice. Unfortunately a few stairs to get luggage over but that was the location and part of it's charm.

The location is the best thing in this hotel, the staff is super kind and the beach is perfect. The room is big and clean and the bathroom is okay.
The breakfest is too simple if you think in how much we paid for the room, nothing special, we stayed in another 3-star in Praiano that had buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes every morning as a plus, for example.
