Decoración , muy buen gusto , me sentí como en mi casa !!! Y soy arquitecto,que generalmente somos bastantes disconformes!’

Good for short stay

Location is very good. Staff friendly. Room ok

Breakfast was good, but no warm foods. Old building, a bit moist. Small room, no place to put stuff.

A lovely stay, quiet at night, easy to walk to shops, food and sites.

The location of this property was perfect for us. Close enough to the metro and walkable to almost all of the sites we wanted to see. it’s about one block off the main roads, so nice and quiet at night.

The hotel has an absolutely excellent location, close to all attractions, ideal connection by metro. A hotel with a family atmosphere, homemade breakfast - especially with Claudia :)

The stay was for 6 days, but we did not have a cleaning service, but we were not told this in advance. We were really surprised at this price. The hotel is right above the bar, if you have a room facing to the street it is very noisy at night...

The owner was very helpful, we booked & paid for a two bedroom apartment, when we arrived we had been given a one bedroom with 4 people to sleep in the one bedroom. Moved 2 into the lounge & made it work that way.

Would stay again!

Room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed that the front desk was always staffed. Air conditioning worked great which was big for us. Staff was friendly.

Breakfast is very expensive compared to other nearby options.

We really enjoyed our stay and would come back here again!

Receptionists were friendly. Loved that you could have a coffee/hot chocolate etc. downstairs for free. And decent quality too! Really relaxed atmosphere too. Really liked the location as it's within walking distance to a lot of things and also the main spot for the Hop On, Hop Off buses.

Whilst it is a minimalist style, we did wish there was a bit more shelving, storage space of some kind especially when travelling with a baby where you just want to have things out and not all stuck in the luggage. Also would've been nice if there was a late checkout option and early check in option (especially if the room is already ready). But wasn't too bothered by either as we were able to leave our luggage with reception until we left.

Great location, spacious rooms and comfortable.

The space we had, as a family and getting the suite, was fantastic. Have a mini-kitchen was a bonus. Loved the location

Some noise, from upstairs- there isn’t any sound proofing so even footsteps were heard. However, it did not affect sleeping, too much.

Quiet, clean and comfortable. The rooms are bright and appealing and a good size. It was in the perfect location, 5 minutes away from 2 metro stations, plaza catalunya and la rambla. Coffee and cake in the morning provided though I never actually had any so can't comment on quality. It also feels very secure

In general it was completely ok, clean very nice staff, great location, just buy good earplugs.

The staff was great, and very friendly. The location is amazing very centrally located in beautiful picturesque streets.

The ceiling are very short about 195cm. So if you are tall you might have a problem with that. Sound isolation is horrible we couldn't sleep well for 2 days because of us hearing our neighbors above us walking.

The perfect combination of value, a little taste of luxury, and location.

The location was perfect, just off La Rambla, very close to Placa de Catalunya, which is where the hop-on-hop-off buses depart from, and where there are lots of public transport options. There are a number of tapas bars close by, a pharmacy, some small supermarkets, and some breakfast places. The Gothic quarter and La Rambla are within easy walking distance as are the high end shopping areas of La Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. The hotel entrance is small and unassuming, but the rooms are large, simply decorated and spotlessly clean. My son was in a standard room, and that was a decent size, with a big bed, and a small balcony overlooking the narrow alleyways leading to the hotel. We were initially in an apartment, which was also a decent size, lovely large bed, large and very effective shower, and a small kitchen area (microwave and fridge and kettle). We them moved to a a deluxe room, (which was our original booking) and it was a very large room, with a large double bed (at least a king size, if not bigger) plus a single bed used as a sofa. The bathroom was a decent size with a shower with good water pressure. It had small "juliet" balcony overlooking the "living wall of plants" plus two other windows. The room temperature was perfect. There was a single "common" room, just off the entrance to the hotel, with tables and chairs for guests, coffee and hot chocolate available all day for no fee, and cake available in the morning. I had searched well over 70 hotels in Barcelona, and hoped that this would give the best combination of value and location - it did all that and more.

The only thing I missed (in the apartment - it was available in the deluxe room) was a throw / blanket - sometimes you just want something light to add some warmth as you relax reading a book etc.
