Absolutely amazing! Beautiful both inside and outside. Definitely has the WOW effect
Nothing to not like

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. We were met with big smiles and greeting, our bags were taken at through to reception. Then a brief tour of the hotel, as we were shkwn to our room.
Every member of staff was courteous, friendly and helpful, nothing was a bother and everything was met with a smile and attention to detail.
Lovely grounds and quiet location, although you are in a hotel in its own grounds, it feels like you're in the forest.
We dined in the conservatory and the food was superbly presented and accommodated our requirements.
Overall an amazing place to stay and unwind and enjoy the peace of the forest.
Turn down service letting themselves in the room while I was taking a bath, so best to lock the door or put the DND notice on the pitside. A purely accidental issue but one that was a little embarrassing in the moment.

Wonderful setting. Beautiful grounds and deluxe room. The staff were all so amazing and very friendly. Would have liked to have stayed longer!
Nothing.
4.5
The location is fabulous. The koi carp ponds were excellent.
The price of the drinks were rather steep but the food quality was great.
4.5
Everything! The staff were exceptional. Restaurants were also excellent.
Service a little slow at breakfast.
4.5
Stunning character building, in a wonderful setting.
I found it an expensive stay.
4.5
Very high standard and menu choice, fantastic table service in the restuarant, great spa and massage facilities. A wonderful location for a break, celebrations and weddings.
Porter service for luggage from car park, more disability parking space.
4.5
Room exceptionally clean
That Non Disabled Blue card holders were allowed to use Disabled spaces and I had to park elsewhere.
4.5
Service, quality of food, history
It was perfect

Fantastic location and hotel
Was overpriced and could hear every word from the people in the next room!

The service was second to none, ALL the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and you couldn't want for anything. We had two evening meals in the Armada restaurant that were incredible made even more so by the fact that they knew already that I was coeliac and therefore needed a gluten free meal. The service was great and we also used the swimming pool, steam room and whirlpool. The hotel was situated in the perfect location to explore the New Forest and one evening when we came back a bit later we were lucky to see deer right outside the hotel on the drive.
One of the mornings when it was busy with wedding guests we waited almost 45 minutes for our tea and coffee but this was a small blip in our otherwise fabulous stay
4.5
Beautiful grounds and friendly efficient staff.
Breakfast. Each morning I had to return mine to the kitchen and on our last day my breakfast was so overdone and cold it was inedible.
4.5
Breakfast excellent staff excellent
No sky either in room or communal room
4.5
Breakfast was good but the service was poor. I never got toasts on time and had to eat my eggs cold.
Excellent location for a quiet break. Very comfortable room but very expensive for a single person.
The most beautiful gardens and very historical building.
4.5
beautiful setting and property
we booked a spa hotel this it was NOT. The spa area was embarrassingly small, the pool was an over sized bath tub, the hot tub and steam cupboard were closed for maintenance, the gym was another cupboard. I needed the hot tub for bone and joint problems and don’t normally stay away from home unless I have the facilities to recover once at the destination.
4.5
Everything was exemplary. Food was delicious and well cooked. Staff were always attentive and personable.
The Coy ponds and garden are a delight.
Fire alarm going off at 6.20am due to a timeshare resident burning breakfast.
C'est la vie.
4.5
Room and view were lovely as was the location.
I was disappointed that the outdoor pool wasn’t open for use. That was one of the main attractions for me.
4.5
Beautiful surroundings, magnificent grounds and building, staff were warm and hospitable. The food was fantastic!
The spa was good - the sauna was a good temperature and facilities were quiet. I had an incredible massage and luxury facial from Amy - the best I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had a lot of compliments since on how well I look :)
It was quite cold in the hotel (in February) but not sure that could be overly helped.
4.5
Location is amazing. What a beautiful place to stay. Really relaxing.
Armada menu overpriced. £14 for desserts!!!!, and variety was poor, 2 pear dishes and a couple of others. I love a dessert but chose not to have one. Overall food was nice but no wow.
4.5
Lovely location
Quiet
At £385 I felt the room was very overpriced, half term or not! While it’s always nice to have coffee making facilities in your room I feel a kettle is now a little outdated! Coffee machine would be a nicer touch.
4.5
The friendliness of staff and how well trained they were.
Pool facilities were small.
4.5
The staff are excellent and always willing to go the extra mile. Food and drink is also superb
Size of the swimming pool is a lot smaller than the photos suggest
4.5
It was the perfect stay nothing to fault except the steam room was out of use

The breakfast second day was all I remember. The staff forgot my breakfast (an omelette) on day one. They offered to do it but the rest of the family had eaten by then and we needed to be somewhere.
The breakfast on day one. I have been many times to the Rhinefield but it’s the first time anyone has forgot breakfast. They also had a problem second night due to heavy rain. Our corridor was leaking from the roof but it never affected our room or impinged on either room we stayed in Burley and Brook.
4.5
Beautiful location in the New Forest. Lots of scenic roads of course. The restaurant was exceptional. We invited friends for afternoon tea and it was delicious. We also dined in the restaurant - superb! Breakfasts were great.
The weather was very cold for England during our stay. The common rooms in the hotel (restaurant, lounge) could have been warmer, although we realize that there is an energy crisis everywhere.
4.5
staff, location and ambience
the rooms are very old and dated
