Superb hotel in glorious parkland. We had a special bonus of the deer all coming to feed in front of the terrace, truly magical. Room was lovely and the dinner was absolutely first rate.

Very friendly, quiet and clean!

Food was good mostly , nice surroundings
Bit chaotic when a wedding was on and some staff very rushed and stressed . Seems to be Reliance on agency staff - we met at least 4 staff who said it was their first day !! Food orders muddled up at times and
Drinks very expensive

Everything was lovely - we had 2 issues with cleanliness in the rooms which a highly apologetic staff member fixed immediately

Stunning building
Our room we felt was not up to the money we paid. It needs slightly modernising but I realise in these old properties it will never be perfect. I think of the sun had been shining it would have felt better!! It was cold and wet so nothing is ever as good in the rain. Would love to try one of the new rooms and in a sunny day.

Welcoming and comfortable and managed to work throughout the day
Nothing loved it

Burley Manor is a beautiful building in a stunning location & our garden suite room was fantastic & spacious. The food was really nice & the staff were very friendly.
The only one disappointment we had was that the pool wasn’t open. We had taken our bathers & the sun was shining so were looking forward to a lovely swim in the pool.

Beautiful grounds, stunning to see the hundred of deer out the front of the property. Quiet and comfy room. Ample parking. Perfect setting in the New Forest.
Nothing!

Staff were excellent. Situation and proximity to Burley Village and a beautiful grand building which sympathetic decor.
No fridge in room. Very creaky floorboards and pipe noises during the night. Restaurant was very disappointing with two choices unavailable, limited menu and had to wait 45 minutes.

Wonderful location, beautiful grounds and the hotel itself was clean and well kept throughout.
WiFi pretty much nonexistent, no phone signal meant looking up local places of interest was impossible - also meant the in-room concierge tablet didn't work. Menu prices are expensive.

The location is perfect. A peaceful and relaxing stay in a stunning setting.

First impressions on arrival were that the hotel and grounds are lovely, staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was large and very nice and clean. Dinner was excellent, breakfast was the same, we would definitely visit again.

Good sized room, staff were very helpful and good location.
Wi-fi was not available in room, lots of cobwebs and paint starting to fade due to moisture from the bath. Also the smell of smoke from the fires is VERY strong when in the communal areas.

lovely location, amazing food, staff friendly and helpful
beds were too firm

Beautiful inside & out. Sympathetically furnished; comfortable/luxurious but in keeping with the house’s history.

great shower and amazing bath; friendly staff, amazing location- we took our bikes with us, used the hotels bike shed and found a really good circular days route that covered sim grogeous scenery too.
both of us found it far too hot. the chimney in the reception area desperately needs sweeping; be prepared to smell of smoke.

The unique look of property and the rooms also the staff couldn’t be more helpful, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the manor

The Mattress was quite firm and a slight slope (if being honest)

beautiful hotel lovely setting with great views of the deer

nothing
peeling paint on my bedroom ceiling
room temperature could not be controlled
pillows very worn and poor
breakfast was terrible with leathery bacon and inedible hash browns. i complained but nobody offered any apology or offered me an alternative breakfast!
In the end me and family checked out one night early, they didn’t even offer us a room refund just a derisory £70 of our stay - we had paid over £1100 for our two night stay! Definitively not going back in any hurry!!

Lovely accommodation, room was clean, comfortable. We were able to check in early which was fab! loved our stay.
Only slight annoyance was there was a noise in our room in which we found it hard to fall asleep due to it, sounded like a radiator/boiler sound.

The hotel was warm and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful and it was right in the heart of the countryside. Ideal for nature walks and deer watching.
It was all good.

beautiful location and having the deer just outside was wonderful.
rooms not cleaned to a good or high standard. also lots of maintenance needs doing in the rooms. such as chipped paint , holes need filling and painting. etc.
