The pool area was open till late so you could go out for your tea and still be able to come back and enjoy the pool

Good value for money with plenty of facilities

Enjoyed everything about the hotel, location was great & exactly where we wanted to be to catch up with family & friends

Apart from no lift & taking cases up 2 flights of stairs, nothing else

Ok, but not great

We liked the pool & jacuzzi, although business men took over the jacuzzi for a LONG time, which was a bit disappointing as there was no room for anyone else and they didn't offer to let others in

Bedroom was tired looking, the tea and coffee facilities were in a drawer, but the drawer had loose hairs and dust inside, so we had to wash the mugs out. We arrived 45 minutes prior to the 3pm check in because there was a rail strike , so we hit the rd early, but reception wouldn't let us in the room until dead on 3pm, a bit stingy. Especially as the room was ready. We was advised to sit in their bar...which wasn't open, lol. Or to go the local pub. I just didn't see the problem in letting us in. But hey-ho.

Dirty and very uncomfortable

Towels only changed every 5 days. Sticky surfaces. Dust around the carpet edges.

The hotel's location and staff were great, but the accommodation needs significant improvement.

The location proved to be superb, with Ramsbottom's center just a short five-minute stroll away. Furthermore, the staff exhibited exceptional politeness, friendliness, and helpfulness.

However, the accommodation is in dire need of tender loving care (TLC). The carpets exhibited signs of wear and tear, appearing tatty and threadbare. Additionally, there were areas where the paintwork was chipped and peeling, giving the impression that the hotel's prime days are now in the past. Nevertheless, with proper attention and care, there is great potential for significant improvements to be made to the hotel.

beautiful views and scenery and staff were all lovely.

went for a wedding and the property is lovely, nice and homely! The outside views we’re stunning, really lovely place to stay. The staff were all so lovely and kind! only got to stay for the night so didn’t get to check out the pool but would love to visit again.

Great setting and location.

the property is a bit run down in places, both internally and externally. TV in room did not work. The odd cobweb here and there. breakfast a bit over priced and selection of cereals and fresh could be improved.

Nice hotel, great location only short walk into town! Food I restaurant was nice, and nice that spa access included.

Rooms slightly outdated, but not an issue. Didn't realise there was not a lift acces, so mum with reduced mobility struggled a bit but manageable.

Good for purpose as location is nice with many local eateries.

Breakfast was excellent as location. The staff were friendly and helpful. A large car park on site was good.

The hotel needs modernisation as rooms are dated and need of some TLC. However, adequate for a short stay.

The cleanliness off the gym sauna and swimming pool was disgusting I ever need been so unclean leisure center . It’s was horrendous . The beds was so old and uncomfortable gave me back ache .
