No breakfast. Location useful to get to Euxton daily. Lovely bed and pillow.
The smell especially in bathroom -staleness possibly from damp caused by over splash from shower onto floor. Outside stair lights. And neighbours drawing water- very audible, especially at one in the morning! Room 2 substandard in general to room 7 but at least quieter ( apart from running of taps)Lack of drawer/ shelf space. Iffy electric start. Broken security door catch. No hook ( as in no 7) on bathroom door.

Food cold when served, as has been thwe case since I have been stayingf there.....but no choice to stay anywhere else as fully booked.
The food and the very slow service

Fantastic value for a stop of on a long journey south, great room, lovely staff, very impressed

The rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped

Location
Hotel rooms are small.. no A.C..in a room, damp smells was in a room..mainly all rooms are in ground floor...so continously banging doors noise and other noise issues.. breakfast was horrible.
We booked 2 rooms and spent £170 for one night with breakfast for 4 family members. It's just unbelievable with this kind of poor service and bad hotel.
I'm very much disappointed.

Modern style, very clean and comfortable room, staff very welcome.
The iron! Very crumpled clothes in my bag that needed straightening and the iron at the hotel was absolutely rubbish, took about half an hour on two items of clothing.
4.2
The room was clean, certainly, and the bed was not at all bad. The restaurant was not overpriced, and the food quite acceptable, though not exactly michelin-star standard. The place was exactly what it says on the tin, basic, comfortable, good for a one-night stay to break the journey north. Surprisingly, we could not hear the motorway, which as a real bonus! You don't expect, or need, a place with a great deal of character if you are just stopping for one night to break the journey!
The meal in the restaurant was not wonderful, but it was perfectly adequate.
4.2
Convenient location, friendly staff, good rooms & great breakfast. The breakfast had very comprehensive allergen labelling. Although it is located within a motorway service station the view from our window was a grassy field with trees which was great!
Nothing

Great 👍
Everything

Price was very reasonable, facilities were better than expected, setting was relatively quiet for being so close to the motorway.
Only downside was the zircon worked very well down in the lobby but without zircon in the bedroom it was really hot on the day we stayed.

Nice clean room, pet friendly, would definitely go back, staff where brilliant
Can’t think of anything

Good location off motorway. Room big, bed comfortable, food good and shower powerful.. very welcoming and friendly staff.
Did not hear traffic from the motorway.
Could hear neighbours chatting, walls thin. There was a smell from the bathroom. However, it was reported and staff stated they would looking it.
4.2
Regularly stay. It’s ideally placed and usually cost effective.
Barriers not working to gain access.
4.2
Easy and quick to access and about halfway on our total journey . Facilities were fine for a short stay and staff friendly .
Only complaint was pillows …. So hard . But I guess that’s a preference . Also a king size bed would have been preferable to a double with single … tall couples with a child wouldn’t be comfortable .

Followed satnav. Took us off motorway and through country roads. The new (3 days old) back gate is ridiculous- we weren’t sent the gate number email. Sat nav took us to the back gate- no intercom, tried ringing the number- no answer, no signage to tell customers how to proceed. Added 16 minutes to our journey to retrace our route to motorway… when we could see the hotel in front of us!
When we left the next day , we were yards from the tournament event we were going to- The number given wouldn’t open the gate and we were just told it seemed broken already. No signage to tell the following cars /delivery van behind us how to proceed etc. it’s ridiculous that there isn’t a button in the hotel to operate the barrier yet there is a cctv? What’s the point? Of having CCTV if you can’t open the barrier? For me, this caused a row between my husband and I at the start of our weekend away, as it was my sat nav on my phone!
We were told that the barrier was because the villagers had complained of traffic- the several cars after us also reversing and going back through the village seemed to be an ineffective solution.Until sat nav reroutes us all.
No where I could see on the booking said that rooms only had showers. Tiny tv. Just disappointed especially as we chose Ramada for luxury instead of the Travelodge down the road for half the price! Our friend staying there had a positive experience.
Front desk staff need to be more ’sympathetic ‘at our inconvenience. Seemed to be indifferent and didn’t have any solutions, as we arrived 10.30pm in the rain.
Breakfast was ok. Breakfast staff were helpful.
See above.

I literally can not find a single fault with this place and I always find at least one little thing wherever we go!
As soon as I walked in (or hobbled with a broken foot and 8 months pregnant), and my husband struggling with all of our luggage and the dog, the receptionist instantly explained that I had booked a top floor room and quickly re assigned us the ground floor room right next to the reception so we didn't have to walk far. All the staff were amazing and their customer service was excellent. Nothing was to much trouble!
The rooms were spotless and accessible for anyone who is immobile. Something I would never usual notice or comment on but felt it is worth mentioning due to my situation and the broken foot and not been able to move! Perfect comfy beds!
We had family stopping the day after too as we live in france and it was the perfect spot to meet and catch up with family. The receptionist instant too assigned them the ground floor rooms next to us which was perfect.
Lovely large grass areas to the side and back of the hotel for dogs to run and exercise.
The food in the hotel was fantastic. For £25 per person, you get a dinner meal and drink and then breakfast in the morning which we thought was a great deal. Great for anyone who fancies a more expensive meal and a beer or wine like my husband.
Breakfast was also lovely. Great selection of hot plates of traditional English breakfast and then continental options and juices.
We are already looking at booking here again for our next trip to England to meet family. Great base, safe and secure and right on the services and straight on motorway to head north. Its hard to tell your right on the motorway as you can't hear or see anything.
I can't think of one thing.

dog friendly and great manager and staff
the filthy public leaving litter in car park and other areas. The staff were quick to pick it up but it should not have been dropped in the first place.
4.2
Staff attitude. The beds were so comfortable. Great sleep
No public transport to and from. No eating except for motorway food
4.2
Really excellent value all round, and perfect for a stop over on those long motorway journeys!!!
All good, I'd love top see an entry barrier for additional vehicle security overnight, especially given the increasing vehicle related crime across the UK. That said no issues experienced during my stay and car park is extremely well lit.
4.2
2nd stay here and will stay again.
Clean, comfortable, quiet.
Slept really well.
No outside noise despite the proximity to the motorway.
Bedroom a great temperature - not too warm like lots of places.
Nice little gym.
Nice little coffee/drinks bar at reception.
You need your wits about you to find it as you come of the motorway onto the service station as it arrive quickly on the left through a no entry sign. (although I’ve been there a couple of times now so not a worry for me!)
4.2
Extremely helpful and polite staff. Special mention for Adam in this respect. Good restaurant with sensible prices. Nice selection of meals.
Could have a wider range of drinks. Extractor did not switch off promptly and packed up altogether on the second day.

Welcoming and helpful staff. No road noise in room.
