Location good. Hotel tired and dispirited.
Location
Poor access to car park Very steep steps into entrance for those with walking difficulties . No lift if room above 2 nd floor or in newer section. Room lighting - main ceiling light and bedside lights connected . So unable to rest and read in bed comfortably. All lights or no lights which is difficult if room companion wants to read or during the night if needing to switch light on. Breakfast - good selection but cooked food lukewarm . Coffee and tea has to made independently which is not expected in a four star hotel. Chipped crockery. Pillows poor quality.

Good location but extremely expensive
Rooms were well designed with excellent shower and comfortable bed
We didn’t receive a warm welcome from reception and they couldn’t even find of the city. Our luggage was stored in main lounge with no security at all and no tags to identify our luggage so anyone walking into the hotel could pick it up

Really only an overnight stay, not long enough to use the facilities

Lovely hotel, perfect location.
Location is excellent for exploring Oxford. On a quiet side street off the high street. Reception staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom great. Was able to get a parking space at the hotel. This is an extra £30. It’s a small car park so have to leave keys with the hotel so they can move cars to let guests in and out. We were happy with this - warning just in case you are precious about your car. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel in Central Oxford, close to sights, shops, cafes and restaurants
Good location and quaint hotel.
hotel was expensive for the size of the room, but I think this is more supply and demand for Oxford.

Property is very tired, rooms did not feel very clean, fractures and fitting tatty. The room had a fig of old tobaccco as did much of the hotel. Staff where disinterested and poorly trained.

A wonderful stay in a lovely hotel, we would definitely use it again.
The location was very central so perfect for us to get everywhere. We were upgraded in our rooms which was a lovely surprise. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
