It was spacious and well laid out. Having the ability to cook a meal was appreciated. The bathroom was clean, shower a great size and great pressure!
It was quiet and we appreciated having a small area to sit outside if we'd wanted to.
Would suggest the carpets in the living room might appreciate a deep clean

The Tesla destination charger is a huge plus as it saves me time, also the breakfast is reasonably priced and very nice.

The room was very lovely, how ever it was smaller then expected.
The small rooms, and also our room had no air conditioning so the night sleep was very uncomfortable.

Staff were nice, welcoming, room was nice& location
The pots in our room were dirty, the main spa was out of order all weekend. Which we were hoping to use over the weekend with our kids. The food in the restaurant was yuck. We’re brought the mussels. Horrible. For $38?

No breakfast due to road works out front was disappointing but the we did have dinner and it was nice. Our room was good but our bed was hard a small other than that we were happy with our stay. Big ups to the man that served us for tea he really was fantastic so professional he could of been working at the ritz.
Just the bed was small and hard.

Location
Dinner never arrived on time, had to wait an hr for the meal after ordering room service at the reception and then going back to remind them of my order after 45min(room ph wasn't working)
They did offer meal on house after complaining the next morning.
The bed was lumpy and raised in the middle, room floor wasn't clean.

Loved the bed, shower and kitchen area. Food at Baywatch restaurant was superb.
Unfortunately previous guests had made marks and stains on the carpet and that should have a clean. Also the couch/bed in the lounge area is rather tired and quite uncomfortable to sit on.

On arrival my partner did not notice the pole sticking out of the ground in the parking area, he ran it over with the boat trailer and it popped a tire on the trailer. They had no hesitation in calling the tire man in Taipa. Who replaced the tire in 15 mins and also the resort paid for it all! So thanks yous very much. Beautiful location, such a nice room. Loved using the kitchen. Bed in the bed room was super comfy and the bathrooms were so clean. Absolutely love the restaurant was amazing and such good pricing we ended up taking away half our food cause our entrées were so large but totally worth every penny.
We got the Pacific Suite and upon arrival we noticed that the table was dirty and also the stove top. I also booked the room for the spa pool outside but it was closed due to maintenance which was unfortunate. But they did discount the room which was awesome. We ended up having a dip in the one by the pool. Also we pulled out a couch bed to watch TV on and it was so old that the part where you rest your head didn't click up and the feet part was basically pointing at the ground, took both me and my partner 10 mins to figure out how to fold it back into the couch, it was a real mission definitely needs a bit of a upgrade.

The property is located near Coopers Beach in Northland, New Zealand.
Very nice lamb shank.
1) We asked upfront the Hotel to keep some of our luggage in a safe place. The hotel representative (Rachel) called us one day earlier and promised to keep the luggage in a safe room. When we came we did meet her and she kept the luggage in a safe room. When we came back to the hotel to check in, a a few hours later, as we concluded with Rachel, we met another representative at the desk. Although the latter was very nice indeed, we found out that the room’s foot was actually wide open for any person who would have wanted to take those bags of ours. Totally unacceptable. Keeping the customers’ luggage safe is a promise not to be broken. People could easily take my stuff.
2) the door very hard to open. We needed to go back and forth three times in order to understand that we need to use quite a lot of power to open the door of the room. My daughter could not open it on her own. I expect the staff to be more informative. That was very cold got her to wait for me going back and forth to the desk till the problem solved.
3) the air conditioning did not work in the room. Coming in the winter to a cold room is not ideal if the air conditioning does not want to work. The maintenance person came after long minutes to fix the remote.
4) the hotel had literally three representatives that served as kitchen servers, front desk representative, and maintenance person. I mean each one of them was all of those roles. Very confusing. Unless you get into the dining room and look for the staff (the waiters there), you could not find a representative to help you. I reckon that this was very weird to see the waitress as the maintenance person, and also later on as the front desk representative. Seems to be understaffed. I bet that the three-person crew knows it, but this is not the best way to market your hotel as a resort if the customers do not know where to find you. Getting into the kitchen to call the staff is both queer and inconvenient.
5) beds are way too soft.

The bed was small and very bouncy - every time one of us turned over it disturbed sleeping

The room with the beach front view was very spacious.good as we could park our vehicle outside our room.
Price is a bit steep just for 1 night. Even for the non peak season.

Location is the best, the stay was generally ok. Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms need a bit of TLC. New pillows on bed, a king mattress as opposed to two single mattresses on a king base? Nothing worse than having that split in the middle.
The restaurant service was good however the food was terrible. I had both a starter and main and it felt the food was a quick reheat option. I didn't eat my starter and only ate a portion of my main meal. Certainly need to rethink the chef and menu. This is constructive criticism as the resort has so much potential.

It was clean and friendly staff.
To expensive $290 for what we got. Old fraying lounge suite in foyer. Holes in the ceiling.
