The pool and bar and breakfast
To warm in the room

The standard food at the function was not good. One of our party received no main course, having ordered vegetarian.
Breakfast, no fruit left. No bread rolls.
The hotel is on a duel carriageway. Unsafe to walk anywhere.
A muddle at reception resulted in people going in the wrong rooms.
Embarrassing experience.

everything wasok
room seemed damp

Great location for visit to NEC.
Good size room with good facilities (e.g. tea making, safe)
Plenty of parking
Good gyn and facilities
Excellent breakfast
Shower curtain a little the worse for wear.
Hot water pressure intermittent first thing in the morning. Only one large bath towel provided in a double room.
3.8
The room was a good size, clean and tidy, ironing board and iron a lovely touch.
Lovely bathroom.
Twinings English Breakfast tea always good.
Bar Facilities and view to golf course was beautiful
It was a little dark.
No plug socket or USB next to both sides of the bed.
Nescafe coffee - there must be a better option that won't bump up costs. (just my personal preference)
3.8
Breakfast was nice
No padlocks for any of the lockers so was unable to leave belongings securely.
Upgraded to a superior room as thought slippers and robes would be included, however they weren’t.
Shower facilities were dirty

Clean, comfy, nice little village type accommodation. Daughter enjoyed late night swimming.

Breakfast was very good, main reception looked very elegant, breakfast staff were the most helpful and welcoming, ample free parking.
I did pre check in online and still had to wait to get my keycard with people who hadnt checked in yet which took a long time. The reception staff seemed irritated, disorganised and rushed of their feet. The room for price I paid was very average and tired looking. Where the floor was stained, so was the head board, one of my pilliows had a ink stain on the edge and half the ceiling lights didnt work. Hotel didn't let us know about the accessibily issue with the road closure from the roundabout from the a45 which took us a while to figure out that you could go up there if you were going to the hotel which cause quite a bit of stress to our already long journey.
3.8
Immaculately clean, friendly staff, grounds of the hotel very well kept especially the golf course. Breakfast was very nice with great staff.
The temperature of the pool in the spa was too cold to be able to relax, not enjoyable so didn’t go back the next day which was a shame.
3.8
We could park our car outside our room, which was very handy
Our room was really hot and we couldn't turn the heating down, the breakfast was tired and I had to tell a server there was something under a table that he may want to remove.
Although we booked 2 nights, we only stayed one and when I went into reception to hand the keys back, I said we were leaving a day early and she just said "OK"

Ease of booking and booking in.
The room absolutely stunk of cannabis. To the extent room service had to spray the carpets, but that smell wasn’t pleasant. We went for our evening meal, came back and the room still stunk to the extent I got a headache. Was told nothing the staff could do as the hotel was booked up when asked to move rooms. The bed linen stunk if it and in the morning so did my clothes. Absolutely awful stink.

The loft 18 restaurant was fab. Huge bed and of course the cellar bar, which also did great food.
Hard bed. But I like a really soft one. So personal preference. The wife loved it

Rooms were very clean, quiet and the beds were acceptable. Lovely view of the golf course and pleasant ambiance in the communal areas, in that it was clean, well maintained and generally very pleasant. Breakfast was good and restaurant service was excellent. Again, the surroundings were well maintained and comfortable with lovely views of the golf course. We didn’t notice the busy road out the front of the hotel but stayed in the room facing the golf course not on the road.
The beds were due for an upgrade in quality.
3.8
The hotel was really lovely and everyone was so nice,
There's not much information in the rooms, and the internet wasn't very good on the days we stayed, maybe the pool could have been a tiny bit warmer
3.8
Nice bar for hanging out in in the evening. Good breakfast.
It was all a bit run down. It’s on the side of a busy A road which you can hear from your room. The room needs a good update and attention to detail. Lightbulbs didn’t work in the lamps, weird switches which meant I could only have an overhead light on to read in bed. My pet hate - the shower tray fills with water when you have a shower as the plug is blocked. It costs more than the premier Inn and is in worse nick!
3.8
Restaurant staff very friendly.
Breakfast was adequate, good choice of hot and cold items on offer.
Swimming pool and gym area very good.
I didn’t like that I received an email inviting me to make an offer for an upgrade, which I did and it was accepted.
I discovered on my final evening that other family members staying at the hotel, who didn’t upgrade, had in fact better equipped room than I did!
I brought this up at checkout, receptionist said she’d have to speak to her manager.. who wasn’t there.
I subsequently messaged the hotel asking what infact I’d paid extra for.
To date I’ve had no response…. Very disappointing.

Food and service in 'The Cellars' was very good.
The reception staff need training in customer service, arrived at 14:30 told the room was not ready which was fair because check-in is clearly shown as 15:00, at 15:00 was told the room was still not ready told to wait a further 10 - 15 minutes, at 15:15 told the room was still not ready, reception staff did not offer to find out why the room was not ready, at this point 'Sebastian' (hotel staff) went to see what was happening with the room and returned to the reception and said the room was ready. Reception staff then insisted on full payment for the room plus £50.00 for charging other items to the room. My wife used the pool and was disappointed with the cleanliness of the pool (dirty tiles at the edge of the water).

One of the buildings is very outdated and we had to switch rooms due to a red spider infestation.

Perfect location great breakfast
I stayed in an external chalet type room and the walls are a little thin.
The person in the room next door snored like a steam train!!!
But the room and everything are really lovely.

good cooked breakfast good parking
2/3 lamps not working, bathroom fan not working, large light direct outside of window without blackout and large ‘emergency’ always on light on ceiling. too much large furniture could not access wardrobe without moving a heavy chair. £20 per dog per night excessive charge for a room not particularly clean to start with, had to pick up chocolate crumbs (poison for dogs!!) off floor before they could enter room. some notice of the a45 roadworks meaning long diversion to get to Coventry would have been helpful. arrived 10 minutes early and would happy to wait for room that was ready eg swept and electric items checked
