Nice renovated room under the roof with interesting woodwork. Nice, modern bathroom. Large comfortable bed. Location close to the train station as well as to the lake shore. Great view from the lakeshore to the Lavaux region.
4.3
Great little hotel near the lake. Lovely rooms. Staff helpful.
In the off season the choice of places to eat in the evening is limited but the cafe next door was great.
4.3
Personnel compétent, sympathique et à l'écoute. Grande chambre d'angle. Restaurant excellent.
Maitre d’hôtel hautain , beaucoup trop imbu de sa personne , qui s'est permis de me téléphoner et auquel j'ai expliqué mon commentaire nominatif ! Pas de cachoterie ni d'anonymat ni chez moi !
4.3
charming hotel, with lovely rooms (large, decorated with a lot of style, and spotlessly clean), great comfort-enhancing amenities (bath rope, shampoo, etc.), very comfortable beds, and located close to the lake and central to the village. breakfast was served in a hotel nearby.
the wifi was not working most of the time that I was there; reception was not staffed, but there was always someone around from the other staff to help out.
4.3
Beautiful village with a lake front and charming cobbled streets. The hotel is a solid and handsome building set in the heart of the village

Die Lavaux Karte musste ich verlangen und diese im dazugehörenden Hotel Major Davel holen...... Die Réception müsste den eincheckenden Gast unaufgefordert darauf aufmerksam machen.
4.3
Tolle Lage, wunderschönes Zimmer, tolles Badezimmer, freundliches Personal, alles in allem perfekt.
Besseres Licht im Badezimmer, Gesichtsspiegel
4.3
Schönes Hotel fast am See und mitten im Lavaux, stilvolle Zimmer und freundliches Personal
es war im Zimmer etwas warm und aufgrund des Sommersturms konnte das Fenster nicht die ganze Nacht geöffnet bleiben

We loved the location! Right in the hear of Cully and a 2 min walk to the water. You can’t beat it.
No air conditioning. The rooms were ridiculously hot. Our stay was in July.
4.3
I know this hotel from stays in the past, very comfortable to visit the Montreux Jazz by train from Cully. The bed was very comfortable, although facing the street, it was very quiet during the night.
Breakfast can be taken at the sister hotel down by the lake, and if you happen to stay at the Auberge du Raisin on a great day, it is gorgeous to sit down at the lake for breakfast on a sunny, early morning!
I had some problems with the cleaning lady, very persisting already at 9 am although check out is allowed until 12!! Very annoying!!
4.3
Lovely setting, location and staff.
We went in a heatwave, so the rooms were hot but a fan was provided.
4.3
Friendly staff, well maintained Ild building, great location
Sometimes no one is at front desk.
4.3
We had a very beautiful and spacious room, for a reasonable price. The location is beautiful. The young woman at the front desk (can't remember her name, but she is Italian/Romanian) was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful. She really made our stay wonderful and comfortable. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The Greek restaurant across the street, owned by the owner of Auberge du Raison, and opened by his sister Michele, was excellent, with delicious, creative, healthy Greek food.
It would have been nice to have breakfast at the hotel rather than having to go to a neighboring hotel, which served an adequate breakfast. There was no place to get a cup of coffee in the morning, without leaving the hotel. There was a tea kettle and tea bags in the room, but not coffee making things.

amazing interior design. one of the nicest and most decorative hotels I’ve ever stayed in!!!
location was excellent.
the staff was non-existent. I had to Ck in at the hotel below and walk up and down the hill to do so.
4.3
Beautiful hotel and amazing restaurant, plus it's really close to the lake!

The service was exceptional and the food was amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience my first time to Cilly. I was treated like family from the moment I stepped into the hotel!

A very friendly and helpful staff. A well maintained beautiful hotel.

Great location in the heart of Cully. Very friendly staff and lovely relaxed breakfast.

We have been here at least 3 times prior so we like the place! Well maintained, comfortable, good staff and a warm and welcoming feeling in the reception, the restaurant and the rooms. A short walk away from the lake too where time stands still.
nothing at all

They were extremely hospitable. We did not realize how early all the kitchens closed in the area after returning from a hike they graciously prepared us dinner.

The room was huge and beautiful, the bathroom as well. Everything super clean. The staff was very kind and helpful and the restaurant was the best, incredible food, wines and service.
We will repeat soon.

The position was good, close to the station. The restaurant was nice but not excellent although the wait staff were very charming as was the female receptionist
The room was quite dark and hot, no air conditioning. Parking is problematic at the hotel and in the surrounding area. Breakfast staff at the sister hotel on the lake’s shore were difficult but the breakfast itself was good. The bed was too firm for us

Bedrooms fantastic, we had 32 and 32, under the roof with wooden beams. huge bedroom, very comfy bed, sitting area and kettle with tea (no coffee). fridge and dyson fan in the room. large spacious bathroom, with shower gel and body lotion.
Very quiet rooms, lift to 3rd floor. Restaurant closed on Sunday in the summer but we ate in the sister hotel, Major Davel, on the lake side terrace - also the breakfast happens here. Excellent hotel and very helpful staff. I had stayed here before and wanted to bring family, they fell in love with the hotel and village and said they wanted to go back too.
