The breakfast was varied and it included many gluten-free options.
It is quite old.

Great breakfast, really warm welcome. Good wifi good location. Good aircon. Nice pool. 30 min stroll into walled city.
Room was basic, and functional (if not luxurious). In height of summer, pri es seems alot for what it was. No kettle in room.
The location is surrounded by apartments and a couple of unfinished building. But views towards the sea are good.

The staff was really friendly, I have nothing to complain about from this perspective. The hotel is clean, there is room cleaning-service on daily basis. The location of the hotel is excellent, the beach can be reached within a few minutes. As I reported our problems at the reception, the colleagues found a soluzion quickly.
This is a two-faced hotel. As I finished my booking, I received pictures of the room which we (me & my girlfriend) will be located in. This pictures showed a nice, comfortable, modern room. As we arrived to the resort, the reality was really jolting. It would have been funny if I hadn't paid a serious amount of money for the accomodation. The room everithing but the part of a 4 star hotel, it was more compareable with a youth-hostel location which has been opened in the early 70s and couldn't maintain its quality over the decades. My expectations may be exaggerated, but our room was really a joke. The shades could not be closed, so it was impossible to sleep after 5 am due to the sunlight. The windows were also not in an acceptable condition, this fact invited mosquitos to us. Our door was also unable to exclude the floor's light from our room. I really had the feeling that a Swedish prison would be much more comfortable. This youth-hostel quiltiy would be btw. just fine, but not for this money, and not from a "4 star hotel". Which the Riviera hotel is definitely not.
As I reported this problems at the reception, the receptionist (a very friendly gentleman) claimed first that I'd booked a "standard room" and not a "superior room". After a short argument and after I showed him the pictures about my reservation on the booking.com he was ready to give us an other room on another floor, which was nice, modern and pretty acceptable. Nothing special, no big deal from a 4 star hotel, but definitely acceptable. Eventually we spent 2 nights in the ridicolous room and 2 nights in the fine one.
Btw I found out from a cleaning lady, that they started a renovation process some years ago, however, they could not finish it due to the covid. Therefore now the 1st and 2nd floor are acceptable, the 3rd floor in the same conditionnas 40 years before. So this like a russian roulette: you either get what you've paid for, or not.

We fell absolutely in love with this place. Furniture was amazingly beautiful, there was much space in the room as well as in the bathroom. Everhing was clean and tidy 😊. Location is convenient, close to the train station and close to the sea. It takes about 20-25 minutes to reach historical city centre by foot, but you can take a stroll next to the beach, which is wonderful :). I hope I will come back to this hotel once again in the future.
Nothing to mention. Everthing was perfect, really!

My husband had full breakfast a couple of mornings which was good , however I had a cup of tea and slice toast 1 morning, which I really dont mind paying something for, but not 15 euros.
Would have appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in room.

pool far away

Location was good, right beside beach with some good beach bars and nice restaurants close by and approx 20 mins walk to old town. Breakfast was good with lots of selection and good coffee. Very clean hotel.
Pool area is very old and run down, it badly needs an upgrade, walls very thin you can hear people in next room, beds quite hard.

It was a last minute booking, we needed a room because the flight areived late
very small bathroom, basic room

Room a little small for three people. We did not get breakfast any morning as we thought 15 euro per person just to high. As this would have made it cost 45 euro every morning. Would have liked a balcony but location was perfect and the hotel was spotless. But do have to say the location was brilliant for the beaches and the town. And do have to mention how fantastically clean the hotel was. Beds done everyday, clean towels and room cleaned from head to toe.
That there was no restaurant or bar and breakfast just too expensive

This hotel was perfect location to the beach, town & supermarkets. The best part of this hotel was the cleaner Maria who cleaned our room to be spotless and was so friendly & helpful, we give Maria a 5* review! :)
There was only one plug socket in the hotel room which is odd as it was a double room, also the tv was broken and when we asked reception to fix it they never did so we just let it go.
3.0 / 5.0
The hotel is very modest. We had a superior room which had no balcony and had to keep our curtain closed as the room faced out onto a patio area and people have a direct view in. The pool area is very basic with no pool side bar and is positioned on the first floor. Very private but no atmosphere. The hotel has no bar as was advertised on booking.Com. They offered a decent breakfast costing 15e each. it was a buffet and the choice was reasonable. This closed at 10.30am and that was it.no more food available after this. The hotel is approx 1 mile from the old town and taxis will cost you 8e. Booking. Com falsely advertises a TV lounge and lounge bar as being available. Not the case. A pint of beer in the beach bars will cost you 6e.
Beach sun beds were 20e for 2 with a further 50c for a beach shower. You will be charged for most things including 1e to use the loos in some places overall I found the experience expensive. The food is very Italian orientated and if you order steak you will pay for the trimmings separately. In one place 21e for the steak, 5e for fried potato while the steamed vegetables were anther 5e. Driving is OK but road speed signs are very limited so be careful. The inland is very mountainous with some good views to be had.

Bedroom was cleaned every day
Sewage smell in bathroom
Pool area dirty and ants galore, I was offered cleaning materials when I fed-back about the condition of it.
No hotel bar
Sea view limited at one edge of balcony
Best view of sea from bathroom window as another hotel in front of view-not as it was sold on booking.com
