Being in Enagron brought us back to the qualities of life: enjoying the gifts of nature: picking fruit and vegetables, and enjoying being alive: cooking together and having lunch as a big international family. A cool dive in the beautiful infinity pool at day and a good rest on comfortable beds at night. Why ask for more? Thank you Enagron!
Nothing.

It was such a magic place. We had rainy days but so many things to do around it. The apartment was very comfortable and the staff was super friendly. We’ll definitely come back once.

Comfortable bed, nice big room with everything you need. Charming quiet terrace. Incredible environment in the middle of nature. Really a place to relax, unwind and let Crete take care of you. Nice walks and many villages around.
Just bare in mind that at the end of September, most restaurants in the villages around (5-20 min by car) are closed on weeknights. But the restaurant of the hotel serves good food.

Great place, iץdifferent holiday in greece great atmosphere, authentic place and warm.
The staff always caring and welcoming, always clean, the wood fireplace on all the time.
Marie from the reception will take care of everything you need! From taxi to tea and cookies in the evening, the place has a restaurant with excellent food that is prepared on the spot.
Merkel will give you an out-of-this-world massage, highly recommend her!.

The breakfast was very nice buffet style, with homemade breads, jams and local ingredients like fresh fruit, eggs, tomatoes, and olive oil. The real gem is the lunch and dinner...wonderful local dishes!
The drive is a bit different than what I am used to but not terrible, just took some getting used to. Also, to note, this is a bit far away from other attractions.

We loved this place! Partcularly the awesome infinity pool with gorgeous mountain view and voltures above us flying. Breakfast was a delight every day. Very friendly atmosphere.
If we are allowed to give some advise: the wine selection could be improved.

Very kind staff, fare prices, magnificent nature and unforgettable atmosphere.
Only remark is that the room could be cleaned at every 2 days instead of 3.

This place was a true gem! My boyfriend and I spent four nights in the hotel and had a beautiful room with a view of the mountains. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the exquisite fresh food for a very good price, they offered us desserts every night and had such a lovely service. We also did the hike excursion to the monastery, enjoyed the beautiful pool nested in the mountains, got a massage in the spa overlooking the mountains. We enjoyed every moment and the freedom of being in the village with that much space.

It was BEAUTIFUL! The nature, the houses, the rooms...everything. Everything was made with an authentic touch, no boring modern furniture or architecture. The staff was so friendly, too.

Great location with stunning views. The hosts and the personnel create a very friendly atmosphere and you can really relax here (we were in Enagron in mid-May, so before the season). The breakfasts are really unforgettable and are a true feast, while the evening meals are also unforgettable - local dishes, the taste of which creates fond memories (the house wines are of a very good quality as well). We participated in one of the activities: the cooking class - now we can cook gemista at home. From Enagron, one can take several walks (a detailed map is provided). The swimming pool offers a bonus: an amazing view of the surrounding rocky landscape and the gorge below.

The traditional decor is nice, staff is kind and the breakfast is very good, however all this does not justify the price difference compared to other hotels. In Crete you have so many splendid hotels at half the price with exactly same quality...and hot water!
During the night power went off due to heavy rain and the day after there was no hot water in the shower. The hot water was fixed in the evening 9pm the day after... For that price I would have expected hot water to be a must and fixed asap.
As well the establishment claims to be authentic and eco friendly. The impression we had is that the eco friendliness is only in the communication, there are are as many plastic and waste as anywhere else. Except for the traditional decor in the rooms, we did not find this hotel particularly authentic neither as it is a big holiday campus targeting rich tourists in the middle of nowhere. All activities are chargeable and quite expensive (10euro per adult to walk to the nearest village) spa is expensive also (at least the sauna could have been free as in most hotels of such price category, but it is actually chargeable, same as jacuzzi)!

We are a couple in our early 30s, and we had such a fantastic holiday at the Enagron Ecotourism village that I'd highly recommend it for so many reasons - the breakfast was fabulous & extremely authentic, all the facilities have a lot of character - so you really feel away from a touristic experience, the pool was stunning, the staff were the most helpful we experienced in all of Greece and the restaurant food was outstanding! Normally we don't eat at our accommodation every night, but made an exception on this trip as the restaurant at Enagron is so fabulous & authentic. I'm not surprised they are regularly fully booked!
