Hospitalité subtile. Belle-Vue ? Dominique et Muriel savent recevoir, vous allez voir !

Petit déjeuner, abondant et du terroir, se décline en une variété de produits locaux, salaisons fromages oeufs de ferme ainsi que confitures et miels des environs. Surtout de goûter les gâteaux, marbrés ou financiers du Chef (ses petites crêpes ...). Fragrances d'arabica émoustillant et douce senteur d'un four pâtissier. Aussi l'éclairage discret en tête de lit - une découverte tactile. J'apprends qu'une formule de chambre confort existe - j'imagine ...

La brièveté de mon séjour, quand la météo est au beau fixe. Aussi d'y être allé seul. L'hôtel invite à l'envie ...

Passage pour une nuit dans cet établissement, Très bon accueil, échange agréable avec le gérant de l’établissement.

Exceptional

Amazing hosts, very thoughtful and considerate. They made an extra effort for us at breakfast. There is air con in rooms, definitely a bonus! The hotel is immediately opposite the train station, which is great.

Whilst it is opposite the train station, it is a bit of a walk from the town. Fortunately, we were staying for a wedding just outside of Souillac so this was no problem for us.

Owners make your stay a good one

Amazing pool side and kids play area. Like the 50's style of the building.

Rooms could do with better ventilation (opening windows is a no because of the mosquitoes)

The owners went out of their way to make you feel welcome, and gave out advice about places to visit and see. Great place to stay.

Close to the train station and spacious. Toilet and room facilities are good.

A great location for most of the key sites the Dordonge has to offer. Facilities are at the top end of a 3 star rating. Plenty of parking & AC in the bedrooms with lift to all floors. Owners are great, welcoming and very helpful. we had a great stay

Would have preferred the hotel had a broader selection of breakfast & a bar available.

A good, basic hotel conveniently close to the train station. A 20 minute walk to the town. A restaurant across the street.

Hotel hours are limited so check before arrival, else you can get in. After hours access by code. WiFi bit slow and access complicated with SMS-ing a code to be connected. The price we were charged on a booking website was higher than list price - maybe due to a public holiday?

Exceptional

We liked everything, excellent location, close to many touristic attractions. The room was very big(quadruple plus an extra bed). We can't thank the staff enough for their warm welcome, kindness and help with everything we needed during our stay. Definitely recommend it!

A great stay much enjoyed.

We liked the general ambience of the hotel and the friendly manner of the hosts, who were very welcoming and helpful. This is a hotel that we will stay in again when we are in the area, this is our third stay at the hotel.

We cannot find anything that we did not like about the hotel, it is an excellent place to stay.

A short distance from motorway. Ideal for a stopover. In the Dordogne so would be good for a longer stay. Very friendly

Manager exceptionally jolly and pleasant. Breakfast very good Good atmosphere amongst staff and clientele. Good position near station and great little cafe across road.

Rooms a little old fashioned (and hot .. but fan provided) and bed a bit hard. Did not like luminescent sign outside bedroom window.

Perfect for a quick stopover

Gorgeous pool area for chilled days with easy access into souillac town and directly beside the train station for easy travel. We travelled here for a wedding nearby and struggled to organise a taxi for the following day. The hotel owners helped us with this process and when they failed to get us a taxi, they very kindly offered to do the lift for us out of their own time and free of charge. They were so helpful and friendly.

Exceptional

Loved our stay at Belle Vue!! We arrived late after a long hot day of travelling and the staff were so nice and helpful and bedrooms were bright and comfy We were checking in to a Château the next day at 4pm so needed a place to hang around for a few hours and the owners said it would be no problem to stay by the pool for as long as we wanted - very nice of them! Thank you so much! Would definitely recommend 😁

An unpleasant experience.

not much.

To get internet was a nightmare. you had to obtain a code and then send this to a telephone number. This didn't work since it continually timed out. The two members of staff was most unhelpful. I ended, using my Data for the one night I stayed.

Funcittional hotel which served its purpose as a base, with a nice pool

The pool was really nice, plenty of sunloungers and umbrella's available. Nice drinks terrace in the shade although we didn't use it. The weather was boiling and we were pleased to see we had the use of a fan. The whole place was really clean. Owners were really friendly and made a point of welcoming every breakfast diner.

Our room was really disappointing, absolutely no view. Decor was very dated. Grout in the shower needs renewing. The position of the shower head also needs adjusting as it had to be held to use it, if you attached it to the pole the shower screen got the shower! Recommendations for somewhere to eat were limited, apart from the bar opposite the hotel we weren't really helped, which when we were only there for 2 nights, it would have been useful.

A chair in the room would have been good, sitting up on a bed is not very comfortable for a length of time.

Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. Rooms were clean.

They definitely need comfier beds and two separate pillows on the double beds, we didnt sleep well. Maybe a little decor upgrading.

All round excellent

Beautifully maintained and very clean. Good parking on the property. Lovely location and warm welcome. Bedroom was very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The lift was also a welcome feature.
