Overall nice hotel in a pretty building in a quaint area.

Beautiful quite location slightly outside the downtown area, yet within reach of a grocery store and restaurants.

Room was on a first floor and I could here people going for breakfast.

Gerne wieder.

Sehr geschmackvoll und ästhetisch eingerichtetes Zimmer, sauber, funktionell, bequemes Bett. Sauberes voll funktionsfähiges, sorgfältig gewartetes Badezimmer ohne negative Überraschungen. Sehr nettes Personal, konnte mittels Code auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten problemlos einchecken und einziehen. Mußte mich erst orientieren, zu welcher Tür ich mit dem Chip aus dem Codetresor wohl von der Strasse hereinkommen könnte. Ein bischen gesunder Menschenverstand hat mich dann aber zur richtigen Tür (links vom Tresor) geleitet.

War voll zufrieden, würde ggf. gern wieder dort übernachten und frühstücken. Es gab zwar keinen zugeordneten Parkplatz. Dennoch war es kein Problem Am Apothekergarten kostenlos das Fahrzeug abzustellen.

Perfektes kleines Hotel, sehr empfehlenswert!

Sehr schöne und geräumige Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit vielen besonderen Köstlichkeiten zu einem günstigen Preis, absolut zu empfehlen. Zentrale Lage, die Altstadt fußläufig zu erreichen. Sehr nettes Personal, wir kommen wieder.

Very friendly owners who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable - including kindly arranging for bikes for us. We would definitely recommend this lovely comfortable hotel in a delightful, quiet location just a short distance from the centre of Celle.

Room was nice size, great bathroom Staff where absolutely lovely Breakfast buffet was wide ranging and very tasty All in all a small quirky hotel in a beautiful building, in gorgeous surroundings close to the town centre

Only problem I had was I found bed very uncomfortable and kept waking up in pain during night, wasn't helped by tiny duvet. Shame really hotel was lovely but If I can't get a decent night's sleep sadly it will be my last visit. Be aware though beds are a very individual thing and other people probably would have no problem

Pleasent stay near the Celle city centre

Great location close to city centre in quiet neighborhood. Spacious rooms and very clean. Excellent breakfast!

Wifi should be free and easy accessible these days.

A good choice for visiting Celle

We spent a couple of days visiting the Christmas Market in the stunningly beautiful town of Celle and the St Georg was a perfect spot to do it from. A short walk from the hotel to the centre of town, the hotel is in a peaceful location. The room was large and comfortable and all went well.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room but otherwise everything was great

excellent breakfast; access to quiet back garden. Hotel is situated in a very quiet corner but close to the Altstadt and centre of the city.

the Wifi service was weak and very unreliable - most of the time not even sufficient for cell phone connection or computer emails.

Charming place

Overall the stay was lovely. The room had everything you need, even a direct access to the terrace, which was nice to use in the evening.

Breakfast was rather basic. We managed to get a free parking spot close to the hotel, but it might be quite tricky to get a spot if arriving late.

A lovely authentic stay

This is a lovely little family hotel we stayed at for the evening. It is centrally located and it is easy to get around Celle old town on foot. The staff were welcoming and helped with every question we had.

There are not lifts but that is to be expected in a traditional hotel. However we had a lot of luggage to move and the staff helped get it up but we had to get it all down!

A hotel to enjoy..

The hotel was very nice, comfortable room and bed. Very positive experience.. We came from a Danish "Kro" to this small and friendly hotel. It was like night and day. Stay here , safe and comfortable.

Very good

Location is good.. close to the centre... lovely little balcony to have a drink on in the room.. breakfast was lovely.. nice mix of cold meats and various cheese and healthy foods... very nice... staff were very friendly .. secure parking for my motorbike..

Not a complaint.. just an observation... when I arrived in the room I went for a shower and the water wasn't hot, that was ok as I'd had a long day on the bike in the heat I wanted to cool down... next morning it was the same... I mentioned it to the staff and the owner/manager very quickly sorted it..the water heater in the bathroom was turned off... hey presto hot water... maybe it should be checked when the room is being prepared.... again not a complaint... it's also tricky to find, well it was for me and my satnav...even after meeting the owner who gave me directions from the top of the laneway, I missed it.. again not a complaint.... I'd recommend the hotel... :)

Our stay at this hotel made my nostalgic return to Celle for the first time since 1968 perfect.

The location is wonderful - a quiet, leafy street a few minutes walk from the centre of Celle. Very well lit rooms - (most hotels are badly lit). Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view from the breakfast room. Parking for the car (our host parked and fetched the car for us) at very reasonable cost. Friendly personnel.

It was not a problem for us but (as should be expected in such a beautiful old building) there is no lift.

A wonderful gem in an equally wonderful town.

Such a wonderful hotel, built in 1612, yet now of course modern and comfortable. Very welcoming and helpful reception, even with a note in our own language to say welcome. Great room, quiet, comfi.

The beds are good, but made up with a special protective matress cover that makes every move you make in it audible... (wink).
