Zoals altijd een aanrader!

Heel vriendelijk personeel, heel gemoedelijke sfeer, prima ligging, vlakbij centrum en toch heel rustig. Zeer attentvol: we bestelden een glas champagne en kregen dit aangeboden door het hotel omdat we daar al een paar keer gelogeerd hadden

We kunnen niet direct iets bedenken…

Not so Grand hotel

Unfortunately nothing really

Not so Grand hotel… We paid more than 400 euros for 2 nights, and the experience was awful. Here are some reasons not to book your stay here: - of course a hotel comes with a bit of noises but this was next level. Our room was located next to the breakfast room – we’re woken up at 6 in the morning by staff preparing the breakfast. Not even to mention the noise when the dining room is packed. - after 1 minute of showering we were finding ourselves foot deep in our own shower water – it didn’t run away. The solution they offered after sharing our experience was “take off the cap before using the shower” (which did solve the problem) and it still feels strange to us. - Parking is chaos. If you need to use your car, you are blocked by other cars and you depend on the staff to get a hold on the other guests to move their car. In our case, we were blocked by 6 cars. Gos forbid if you would have an emergency where you need to leave immediately. - The airco on the room is outdated. - Location is okay-ish. Depending on your mobility, it is a 15-minute walk to The Cathedral. The nearest restaurants about 10minutes. We shared our complaints with staff and the manager. the manager and they only offered a €30 refund…. This hotel is definitely not worth 4 stars and not worth your stay. Based on checking off the location facilities, they can call themselves a 4-star hotel. The experience is not worth 4 stars at all. In addition, if you want to use the swimming pool, you pay €20 per hour. On top of this, upon check out they had send an email asking to write a review with a 9 or 10 score…

Perfect location for exploring Reims and the Champagne houses

Very central location, extremely helpful and pleasant staff, cosy rooms, breakfast more than adequate for us, plenty to eat.

Our shower leaked terribly in to the room and also didn't drain away well, we had to shower using it as a hand held shower otherwise water poured out of the sides, we are sure this could be easily fixed.

Low Price/Quality rate. Would not come back again...

Location is good Bed was OK

Very old decoration and furniture in hotel. Rooms very small and with "old" smell. Breakfast was prepared for each table (room) separately. Not good quality and variaty of the food provided. Sauna is avaible, but at 20€ the hour...

wonderful experience, and a wonderful receptionist who couldn’t do enough for us. just a shame that it smacks of penny p

it was a beautiful hotel, situated in a great location.

we didn’t appreciate that certain charges weren’t shown upfront, and only became apparent once we had checked in. The main bone of contention being the €20 charge for the use of the pool/sauna, nowhere in the marketing of this hotel is this mentioned.

the friendliness was superb!

the friendliness upon arrival and throughout the stay! a big thank you Eric and all the staff! the room had an electric water kettle and tea and coffee options. the hotel had a personal and unique Charme with wonderful antique furniture and tapestry on the walls and ceiling. it was cozy and elegant. the size for a small room and single occupancy was good. there was secure parking in the back of the property which was very convenient.

small negatives: it was lovely that there was a tub, but there was a ring around the water drain which had a stain. the water of the shower head sprayed far and not controlled. on the plus: the bath was in marble and generous in size.

if you’re in Champagne, stay at a closer location or stay at a vineyard

fantastic staff and cute property but it is far from the city center, about 15 mins by walk. given how small the entire area is that is not a great location.

location was okay. my room was supposed to have a garden view but the only view was of the plastic rooftop of the cafe which was blocking everything

What a great place to stay. Beyond expectations.

Lovely antique home with a grand oak staircase, and elevator, port cochere leading to secure parking, and rooms like jewel boxes. Even a pool is present on the premises. May I suggest requesting room 115 with its comfy king bed, custom upholstery, and great view? Full breakfast had a panoply of breads, charcuterie, and cheeses to choose from. Fresh fruit, orange juice and a perfectly cooked egg made it a feast. Staff befitting such a place were ready to assist. This all in walking distance of Reims cathedral in the lovely downtown with many a restaurant to chose from. Every effort to exude hospitality and welcome has been made.

A supremely comfortable and quiet and convenient beautiful hotel/house.

This hotel is in a beautiful house, that is wonderfully appointed. The bedroom was supremely comfortable, and the quiet was marvellous. Even the secure parking was easy. Maybe breakfast was too generous!

Wouln't stay again.

The staff were very nice (all 2 of them)

The Hotel's idea of "De Luxe" and mine are very different. I don't believe that two beds put together and made to look like a double bed is "De Luxe" nor do I believe that together with a very a basic bathroom was worth the money. Nor do I belive that a plastic bottle of water (that I have spent less than 1 Euro on in a service station) and paper cups are "De Luxe" I don't think I need to say more....
