Dinner was very good. There was a good selection of food for breakfast, we found what we wanted anyway, sea views from restaurant and terrace superb.
The maze of corridors meant we found it difficult to navigate to and from our room to other parts of the hotel. Had our stay been longer we might have familiarised ourselves with it.
I thought it was a shame that it wasn’t designed so that there was direct access from the bar seating area to the terrace.
Whilst it had everything in it that one would expect the room was a little “compact and bijoux” that is why it did not get top rating from me for value for money.

The room was beautiful, bathroom excellent. The staff very helpful. It felt like a home from home
The only fault was our door had a big gap at the bottom and we were concerned that our noise would disturb our neighbours.

Room was lovely but walking outside through the car park was a shame as outside is quite run down . Didn’t have that lovely hotel feel that the main hotel had.
Breakfast was disappointing as many items were over cooked. Items described as platters weren’t really platters and we had to ask for these to be re stocked

Breakfast - good selection
Room - very comfortable but slightly cramped, bed extremely comfortable
Dinner - more than adequate choice
Disappointed that there was no lift, had difficulty with stairs as I had hip surgery recently, long trek from room to ground floor

Really nice rooms and location
Breakfast wasn’t very well organised and finished too early on a weekend. Lots of items ran out or took a long time to arrive.

Lovely decor. Great location on the beach. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly
Would have been nice to see veggie options for the cooked breakfast (eg veggie sausages) and an obvious dairy free option for milk and butter

£230 a night included breakfast, but they want to charge for speciality coffee (cappuccino) or even a green tea bag.
Also, £3.95 for a small coffee is ridiculous, I've stayed in the savoy in london and it's cheaper. Also when I checked the bill 10% is automatically added as a service charge! For a coffee!
There are a lot of elderly visit this hotel, who may not be confident to query a charge like that, but come on., being charged £4.40 for a small coffee is poor.

Being asked to pay on arrival because I was "only B&B" and then on leaving being asked for £2 for the newspaper they had forgotten to put on the bill.
Whilst at breakfast the room was entered by staff and made ready for the next guest and all our personal item we had left lying around put on the.bed. I thought the room was ours until we left.

First time here since the renovations. It is a significant upgrade. Our room in Sea House was perfect.

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Hotel was lovely too. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The main thing to complain about was the breakfast! The hot breakfast did not include toast, juice, tea or coffee!! We had to pay extra!! The continental did include tea & coffee. We have never come across anywhere you have to pay extra for tea with a cooked breakfast!! This was very disappointing! I usually have a herbal tea which doesn’t need milk & just hot water! paying for this seems really mean when it’s not included in the price of breakfast!!
