The room was well situated, with a fabulous view, and comfortable bed. There is a free shuttle bus into the town, but we didn't use it as it's just a 20 minute walk to everything you need. It's a very steep hill, but even in our 70;s we managed just fine. The staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful, professional and friendly.
Not much not to like, but we both found it a bit odd that, when you pay extra for breakfast to be included, you still have to pay for a cup of coffee to have with it. Not a major issue, but a bit bizarre for an accommodation in that price point.
Although the room was lovely, neat and tidy, it was evident that the floor was not clean when we took off our shoes and after while, when we showered there was dirt from the bottom of our feet. We hadn't been barefoot anywhere else.

Bathroom smelt and bed was 2 beds joined and uncomfortable

Really great value for money - had a very resort feel for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is alfresco style with a beautiful view. The included breakfast was a full meal made to order from the menu so you don’t get bored of the same meal each day. Portions were very generous so we were able to make the most of it. There was a free yoga session on Saturday morning which we loved. Has a little gym & nice pool. You can order poolside drinks & snacks. Staff were all very helpful & can arrange lifts in the buggy if you need help to get down the hill with bags. The location was fantastic for the marina where all our tours left from & it was an easy walk into town other than the hill! We loved our stay here - would highly recommend.
It’s worth knowing that the driveway & a lot of the property is incredibly steep. Could be a real problem for anyone with mobility issues or injuries. They offer a free shuttle into town at set times of the day which was very popular, & you can give reception a call & ask for a buggy to meet you at the bottom of the hill or help you get up to your room. Walking it was our exercise for the week!
Our bathroom had an amazing huge spa bath but the shower had no door & water went everywhere every time we used it, so that was a bit frustrating, especially with no servicing of the rooms. Feel like they should install a sliding door or something & then that problem would be totally fixed.

All of it
The pool/spa is to small to cater for the number of guests

I love how the resort has a restaurant! Was close to the town and i felt so welcome.
I’m not sure if I just didn’t know how to work it. But I could figure out how to put the heating on.

A great view
Having to carry heavy bags up stairwells as there was no lift

Room, staff, view, breakfast being included and overall how accommodating everyone was for our party. It made for the best weekend.
That I had to leave and go back to real life.

exceptionally friendly staff ! great views, the pool is awesome and the included breakfast is a real bonus too!
the reviews mentioning the hill are real, it is steep and it is tough going to walk to/from town that being said the place is great and a taxi is cheap at $10 or so !

What a beautiful location and view from Wyndham Airlie Beach. We arrived and were greeted by friendly staff who drove us to our room with luggage. Lorraine in the restaurant provided outstanding service and the chef was very accommodating in making us a packed breakfast before open hours so we could get to our tour. The 5-star service makes this a destination I would visit again. Thank you to all the staff! *****
There was nothing I didn't like. Everything about Wyndham from check-in to check-out and the service was outstanding.

Great location, fabulous pool, lovely food, brilliant staff. Fantastic time.

The pool, restaurant, bar and view was great.
Great pool, spa and resort facilities. Staff friendly but not able to follow through with simple requests. Lovely staff member took kids and husband on buggy ride around the resort.
Room 111 was below Cleanliness standard and furnishings/carpet old and lounge heavily stained.
When we arrived at the apartment the lounges were absolutely filthy. Heavily stained and brown. Didn’t want to sit on them. I asked for sheets to cover them with on two occasions first when we checked in and the second time in the morning the next day and NO sheets were provided. A blanket was reluctantly provided on night of checkin as it was late and reception was closing.
Carpet was very old and warn. Was told that this was one of the last rooms to be re furbished. The floor was dirty and our feet brown from walking on it. Spill stains on floor especially around fridge.
We were offered a room upgrade. Went and had a look at another room. It was clean and modern. However the rooms were very dark as it was surrounded by trees and was one of the rooms at the bottom of the resort so the view was not as nice as the one we were in and apartment not bright and light either like the original apartment.
We decided to make do with the current room and asked for some sheets for the stained lounges and the floors to be cleaned.
The resort never provided sheets to cover lounges. They sent a cleaner who sprayed an intoxicating room spray in the apartment so it smelled clean but the floors had not been cleaned. Crumbs and spill stains around fridge still there.
There was only one blanket provided for four of us.
We used the dryer and before heading out for an 8 hour day. It made a high pitch squealing sound, put it on 30 mins. When we came back it was still on, timer broken. My son’s Ghanda birthday shirts shrunk. ($100 shirts) Mentioned to reception at checkout, they said sorry will let maintenance know.

A little piece of Paradise. We thoroughly & absolutely enjoyed our stay. The 2 bed apartment was exceptional with fantastic facilities. Washing machine & dryer were a welcome addition. Breakfast was delicious & all staff were courteous & professional.
The Hill! 🤣 but the hotel shuttle bus & golf cart solved that so really not an issue. We climbed the hill once & once only 🤣

Beautiful Clean Rooms
Heaps of Space & the Patio was a Perfect Place to Sit & look at the Views of the Ocean
3.5
Location, pool and convenience
The rooms could have been better cleaned, the couches are filthy and have stains all over them I had to put towels over them before we sat down and I think the menu should be more kids friendly. There was not much variety for kids to eat by the pool. I didn’t understand why they don’t have toasties as a basic staple on the menu.
3.5
Great views and comfortable accommodation.
Pool and spa were beautiful.
Small restaurant seating area, breakfast was below average and slow with very little care factor from a couple of the staff members.
Too few places to sit near the pool.

The views are amazing. The split system aircon conditioning is fantastic!
The staff! They don’t move out of the way, they make you walk around them and their equipment. They also go way to fast in buggy’s at one point we had a very close call.
Upon check-in you can complete a form to book in for breakfast, when you arrive for breakfast your name isn’t on the sheet. Massive disconnect between staff.
You must remove all rubbish from room.
They do not provide adequate bins or bin liners for this rule.
No towels, bath mats etc provided for children, old toothbrush left in shower. Benches, tables, coffee tables all not wiped down properly and no spray provided to do this. Extra towelling or more effective bath mats should be factored in for spa ensuite. Shower will leak if door not correctly shut in a certain way - more towels required for this.
Cleaning is of a very poor standard and it’s very evident a head of house is not running checks to ensure a standard.

Views from the apartment were exceptional. Large spacious apartment. Had all the facilities you needed.
First impressions our apartment (133) was very tired and obviously not renovated for a long time. The unit door was not painted there were handles falling off the doors to the balcony and main bedroom, and some stains on the couches. The mattress on the main bed was very poor, needed to request 2 more toppers to be able to sleep comfortably. Massive spa bath in the bathroom was very much in the way. Hard to navigate in the dark to get to the toilet…! Way to big to actually use for the water conscious.
2.5
The staff at the hotel are very nice as were pretty much everyone we came across in Australia. This hotel has spectacular views of the water and marina. The units are spacious and come complete with kitchens and washer and dryer - a real plus. Beach towels are included - another plus. The breakfast food in the restaurant was pretty good - you get a choice of one entree, but the ridiculous part is they charge you for coffee unless you want instant coffee (which is crap in my opinion). When you pay to include breakfast in your stay who charges extra for coffee? Seems disingenuous.
This is a very dated property in need of a remodel - toilet stained, sofa stained, mold in the shower grout, etc. For those contemplating a time share purchase, be aware you may be hit with steep assessments to upgrade this property. The worst part was the steep climb to get to the hotel and to your room dragging suitcases. When we checked in we didn’t know our room was up a steep hill and the person who picked us up from the bottom of the hill when we arrived walked away after leaving us to check in. We took our own bags out of the golf cart and were shown how to get to our room on a map - we walked away with our bags not realizing we had a steep climb tog EY tour room as well. When we checked out, we called down for a ride with our bags down the steep hill to the lobby but no one answered the phone. If you have any mobility issues, I strongly suggest you book elsewhere. If I had known how difficult it was to reach this property and our room, I would have booked elsewhere. The views weren’t worth the climbing agony. Town is a short walk away, but climbing up and down the steep hills to get in and out of the property was no fun at our age.

Beautiful views and good airy floor plan with comfy lounges and excellent balcony
Very steep inclines and lots of stairs. The apartment could have done with a fresh paint job and general freshening up/deep clean

It had a very very small pool area and access

Loved the apartment and view.
The staff were very accommodating
The breakfast.
No microwave in the aprtment
Very small pool for the size of the complex
The courtesy bus was out for maintenance so had to either walk to town or pay for taxi - surely a replacement could be sourced while the other is being fixed
