Not much really
Three flights of stairs to the attic room. No tea making facilities. Beds uncomfortable (new pillows required) Breakfast was an unsupervised free for all continental. A Polish family of four filled a carrier bag with packs of bread, cheese, ham and any other items they could fit in. We were not left with much else but toast.

Nice acommodation right next to the Ring of Kerry. Beautiful view from our window and everything was as advertised. The food served in the pub exceeded expectations and the staff are very friendly.
Nothing of note.

No trip around the Ring of Kerry is complete without an evening at Caitin's. What more do you need - home made cooking for dinner, a pub on the ground floor and a small walk upstairs to your room once you have finished. We stay here every year for an annual golf trip around Kerry and love it. Great value, friendly staff and a wonderful set up. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.
Everything was great. No complaints at all. The accommodation is fantastic value given the location, so don't expect 5 star accommodation, but if you value a great night out over a TV in your room, then this is the place for you. Simple, clean, comfortable and a great confidential breakfast included as part of the package.

The view
Room was very old fashion nothing special u could hear everything that was going on in the bar so if a party was in ur better off sitting in the bar than in the bed u wouldn’t get much sleep

great view, very nice room with clean and fresh bedding. Host nice and friendly

Ocean views. Good self-service breakfast. Comfortable room. Helpful staff. The bar was no longer serving food for the season when I stayed but they got me food from Kells after my day of walking the Kerry way.
Bit isolated location as I didn’t have a car. Bar quiet in the off season.

There was no clothes rack in the room which meant that we never unpacked our travel bags. No hairdryer in the room. Some of the cables near the bedroom door were incomplete in their installation. No TV in the room although the TV connection was there. No fire escape route plan on the inside of the bedroom door. Stairways were industrial and noisy.
A pillowcase was stained. In the shower there was no soap dish or shelf for shampoo. Complementary toiletries were left on the floor of the shower. We found the lid from a previous occupants shampoo still balancing on the shower mixer tap, the shower taps had very obviously not been cleaned in accordance with current Covid 19 hygiene guidelines.
Next morning there were no lights turned on in the breakfast room. We had to search through cupboards to find cutlery and crockery etc. Choice of breakfast was both disappointing and poor. The breakfast facilities and the TWO tables provided in the breakfast room did not at all adequately provide for socially distant seating/dining. We would not rate this venue either in terms of value or facilities against any of the other places we stayed during our trip ! We paid a hotel price and received something not much better than a hostel experience. Very over priced, very disappointing and an embarrassment to Irish tourism.
Perhaps, for whatever reason they were not at their best when we stayed at Caitin's and hopefully others in the future will be better satisfied. But I would not bet on it !!!!!!!!!!

Breakfast and room. Although we were not there during the day, the large sun room to side of house looked nice.
Pub/lounge was a bit dated, uninviting decor.
