The Venezia Hotel Resort is well maintained.
The hotel reception team were fantastic and big thank you to all of them.
We were able to arrange trips from hotel reception time, and the prices were very competitive.
Pick up and drops off were from the hotel and a great variety available if you are interested in seeing all of Rhodes and the island of Symi.
The hotel resort is not close to the beach, and the hotel does offer a bus service three times a day to take residents into Falariki by the beach. The timings of the bus service are not convenient as the timings clash with breakfast and lunch timings and the last bus into Falariki is 5pm and the return bus back to the hotel 5.05pm.
The food served in the restaurant for lunch and dinner was of poor quality. Being a 4-star resort hotel, it was unacceptable.
Also, if you do not go for lunch and dinner at the opening times, be prepared not to get any food as it runs out quickly and is not replenished.
The all-inclusive drinks, both alcoholic and soft drinks, were absolutely disgusting.
You can purchase better quality alcoholic drinks and soft drinks from the bar in the restaurant and the hotel shop.
Entertainment, if you can call it, that was a complete disaster.
We spent most of our time outside the hotel resort and went into Falariki Town Centre for our meals and entertainment.
The beach in Faliraki Town Centre is really nice
Taxi's cost 10 Euro's each way into Falariki and back to the Venezia Resort Hotel.
We have never ever felt so disappointed, and we would not stay at Venezia Hotel Resort ever again.

Staff was very nice in the hotel. The booking staff was difficult to engage with. Property was great value for money.
The booking staff and booking experience as very difficult to deal with

Rooftop Jacuzzi room was great! Rooms very clean and tidy! The entertainment throughout the day and in the evening was good, we really enjoyed it! Clean feel to the whole hotel😊
We felt as though the food could be a little better but is pretty much the usual food you would expect to get in an all inclusive. Would have been nice to maybe have themed nights and wider variety of food. But the Pool bar restaurants were great, we loved the Pitta and burgers!

The receptionist Sergos was so welcoming and made us feel very welcome throughout the whole stay. and he was always happy to help and gave us all the information we needed to enjoy our holiday to the best of its ability. he was very happy and provided a friendly face throughout the whole stay

Very welcoming friendly staff. A large hotel with different pools and chill-out areas. Great location with views over Faliraki and the sea. The food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Great value for money.

Food was alright, location is a okay. At least the pool was nice.
Didn't do all inclusive drinks til after 6pm which is shockingly bad. Room was very dated with an extremely small shower that always smelled like sewage.

The staff was very nice, helpful and hardworking. Especially the bussers in the dining area!

Good location 👌

• Clean rooms
• Public bus stops just outside
• Some staff are friendly
• Dinner runs until 9pm - good for late check-ins
• Decent swimming pools
• Firstly, this is not all inclusive. I have stayed in all inclusive before and know what to expect when I pay for a package such as this. At Venezia, all inclusive means that food is just certain hours of the day, with no access to food in between those times unless you want to wait for pizza and chips at 11-5 or join the massive queue for ice-cream for two hours in the afternoon (but once it’s gone, they don’t replace). Drinks were limited to certain hours and alcoholic drinks (except for beer and wine) were not served until 6pm (and bar closed at 11pm). I’ve never heard of this in all my times going all inclusive. Additionally the cocktails that were on offer in the evenings we’re severely watered down (the hotel has admitted this -claiming it’s because they’re family friendly) but surely this is not allowed?
• The food on offer in the restaurant was not good quality and often repeated during the week. If you have children, they’re having either chicken nuggets and chips or spaghetti bolognese for dinner every night, and fruits on offer every day are either watermelon or grapes, no other choice. We ended up only eating here one of our 7 nights which defeats the purpose of going all inclusive. The food options in Faliraki town are gorgeous and highlight even more how bad the food is at the hotel.
• There was one man at reception (I think the owner) who got extremely defensive when you’d ask for help with something that was broken in your room, claiming that we must have done something wrong (we didn’t).
•The location is not ideal. This hotel sits on a steep hill that is 15/20 minute walk from Faliraki strip and another 5 minutes from the beach. We ended up paying for taxis most times we left the hotel (which was every day).
• the hotel offers a free bus to the beach 3 times a day, but don’t bother waiting for this.

* Location 10 - if you're driving, it's very close to Faliraki centre, 20 mins from Rhodes Old Town and 40 mins from Lindos
* Room with private pool 10
* Kids swimming pool 7 - would be a 10 if the flooring surrounding the pool wasn't SO slippery! It's actually dangerous!
* Pizza and Chips post midday snack 6 - not a pizza from an Italian restaurant, but it fills the hole in the afternoon :)
* The resort has a mini supermarket if you need any last minute supplies
* Food 2 - Apart from the basic pizza and chips served at snack times, the rest was not good. Same dishes pretty much every day, all deep fried, no fruits, no yogurt nor granola for breakfast, the bread to make toast was tasteless... basically we paid for all inclusive to eat fry ups from breakfast to dinner. When I asked for fruits at the breakfast, they pretty much laughed at my face. No variety whatsoever! The desert was pitiful, apart from the baclava, the pastry tasted like it had been made the week before they served it.
* Mattress 3 - might be personal preference, but the mattress felt like a cheap pocket spring mattress and the bed was so squeaky

It was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
The food was repetitive every day. Not enough vegetarian options. The food was luke warm. Only one toasting machine for the amount of people in the hotel, so always ended up queuing to make toast. The alcoholic drinks was not included in the All Inclusive plan during the day, only in the evening otherwise had to pay for them during the day. The safe in the room you had to pay for as well. Kettle and cups in the bedroom but no tea, coffee or sugar to make beverage in the room. Towels only changed every other day. When having a shower the water flowed outside into the bathroom as no shower curtain or door, only a half glassed shower wall on the side.

The swimming pools/ water slides are a nice touch.
The hotel is clean.
The staff are hard working.
There is a bus stop directly outside the hotel. This is convenient for going to the Old Town/ Water Park.
The food is hit and miss. Certain foods I would miss as they did not look appetising. However there are options there.
The air conditioning was poor.
The Wi-Fi is non existing.
There is not much directly outside the hotel (bars/ restaurants)
The All Inclusive beers, cocktails and spirits are watered down massively.

Our private pool was lovely and majority of the staff were nice. It was also convenient to have an on-site shop.
We experienced problems with the aircon on the first couple of nights, not to mention the daily power cuts.
The food lacked variety and was fairly bland, all of the drinks were water down including the beer.
The walls were thin meaning that we could hear our neighbours.

Pool area was great, level of cleaning was good and extra services (car rental etc.) were easy to arrange from the reception area.
Too big part of food (in breakfast, lunch and dinner) was always finished 30-60 minutes before the end of all inclusive diningtimes. Air conditioner could have had more operating levels (it was basically too cool or not in use).

The staff is amazing my sister lost her beg in the taxi and the hotel help to get it back thabk you.
In the Pool there's toys and matters to lay in the Pool .
There is pizza in the pool and drinks included, make it so easy with kids .
The water park is funny for the all family gave my mom 64 years old to feel like little kid again.
The vacation in this hotel with 7 adults and 3 kids was perfect
The hotel provides a rental car service very convenient also scooter.
Everything was so convenient
The location is very good far from the noise but close by local restaurants cheap and such a good food I recommend definitely to be close to them .
The view from the breakfast is into the sea and sunshine in the morning between the mountains let u feel u are in a dream :)
Everything was perfect i wish that will be improved on the food inside the dinner or breakfast because i can be more then happy to eat fresh fruit and local vegetables local jem and more options from local products 😊

The hotel had good ambience and great pool areas. Food was average.
Staff were quite rude and not so service oriented

Nice family running resort. We have stayed in the main building. Room have been recently renovated. It was not big, but very well planned. We get back only late evening, so basically spent most of the time outside. Room cleaning every day. Very good air conditioner, no noice at all.
Food is ok, i liked more lunch and evening. But in any case we never stayed hungry, i always could find what i liked. Mainly fish and vegetables. Watermelons was very good. But no other choice of fruits(except sometimes apples and oranges). Dessert traditional greek and very sweet, but a small peace with tea or coffe was just fine.
Pools are good with defferent depth (from 0.6m for babies to 1.6m)
Waterslides are also fun for the kids and not only 😉, but my kids spend mostly in the middle pool.
Soft drink, beer and red/white wine all day.
Very tasty pizzas in the pool bar. Kids didn't wake up for the breakfast, so it was really good option for them.
Entertainment team is nice, great zumba and water aerobics guy. Also evening program and mini disco.
Our flight was late evening, so we could stay in hotel territory all last day. Only check out from the room, but eat and drink like usual. Great option for us.
It was sad to leave this place after only one week, could stay here more days. Yes, i could recommend it. And big thanks to all the staff.
Forgot to say, even sunset is on another side of the island, the sunrise is absolutely awesome.
Omelette for breakfast, no choice of fruits, no pool towels.
I missed some more days staying here 😀😀😀

The quality of the drinks at the main restaurant.
No shampoo and shower gel in the room.

Even better than we thought. Perfect area, 5 swimming pools, aqua park and pool from kids. Food-many choices and I believe EVERYBODY can choose whatever he/she likes. Far from beach, but there was a Shuttle bus 3 times a day.
Absence of moscito barriers on windows/balcony doors.

Our room with the private pool was perfect. All staff members were very helpful and nice. We had a great selection of food, especially the local food and salad bar.

Staff there was amazing. I think we spoke small talk with every person we met. All people were so lovely and they really care their guest.
Food wasn't good at all, expect pizza from snack bar.
7.0
The hotel was lovely and clean, all the staff were really nice. The location was good only a 10 minute walk down to the strip and 5 euro back in a taxi.
Pizza around the pool at lunch was gorgeous and freshly made.
The pools were freezing but a nice wake up from the Greek heat. There were 3 pools, the top one was more for families and had a baby pool, this was right next to the pizza and snack bar, as well as drinks.
The middle pool was more adults only and just the one pool with no kids things around, this also had a drinks bar.
The bottom pool was a waterpark, it was only open 11-3 but had a splash pool for smaller kids and then 3 slides, there were sunbeds and stuff down there but it wasn't very busy, probably due to time of year, there wasn't a bar down there.
Plenty of toilets around for pool users and sunbathers through the day and these were all clean.
Room was a family room so double bed and bunk beds, beds were really comfy. The size was fine and it was really clean, maids seemed to come every day.
The AI drinks through the day were wine (red and white) or beer and then all usual soft drinks. As a group of girls we had a few shandy and then went on to make our own sangria style drinks with red wine, orange and Lemonade 😊 great for us. After 6pm there were a couple of cocktails and then the usual local spirits available as well.
Overall the hotel was really nice and I'd go back with friends but I probably wouldn't go as a family. This is only because there wasn't any entertainment for the kids and my kids are terribly fussy 'english eating' kids so there wasn't much they would eat. Really good value for money though for what we paid and the cleanliness and location of the hotel.
The hotel restaurant was only small and feel the food could have been a bit better but there was always something I could eat. I would have struggled to feed my kids here at the evening as there wasn't much they would have eaten.
