Excellent location and fantastic views from the penthouse. Lovely having your own deck overlooking the ocean. A very comfortable and well sorted out apartment.
The bathroom shower flooded if you weren’t careful with the door. The bathroom and decor is dated and showing its age.

The bed was amazing and comfortable. It was like sleeping on clouds. The area was amazing and central to everything. Room was warm and cozy. Tv options were great. The restaurant on site was amazing and delicious.

We had everything we needed.
2 window blinds broken
Paid up front for breakfast, still charged extra for granola and eggs bene- extra charge was unclear from menu/staff when ordering. Disappointing when we had spent a lot for our accommodation.

Clean rooms. Comfy as beds. Nice housekeeping. Staff were always friendly and helpful, providing umbrellas when it was raining.
Lack of items in the room e.g. no toaster or microwave or cutlery except a few spoons.

We had a big, modern room with comfy chairs, a wonderful bed, and the best shower water pressure we've found on the North Island. The wifi worked well, and the ceiling fan was good for keeping the room cool at night. The hotel's location is unbeatable: across the street from the seafront walk, next to the terrific Puke Ariki museum, and a few blocks from the restaurant strip on Devon Street. We were lucky to snag one of the limited parking spaces in the hotel's lot, so we left the car there and went all over town on foot.
The shower stall leaked water onto the bathroom floor. There was some street noise late at night, even with the windows closed.
