Family owned Hotel, with awesome service and care for their guests.
The staff is exceptional - thanks, Kathi!

Hotel was quiet and very clean. It had stunning views of Malcesine and the lake, even when sunning ourselves by the pool. Towels are provided for the pool. The rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed. The bed was very comfortable, despite it being too short for my husband he slept well! The shower was hot and powerful. Cati and Catrina were very friendly, chatty and helpful. It was a 10 minute stroll down to the centre of Malcesine and the bus station for day trips and excursions. The hotel also provided transfers for us to and from the airport at an extra charge. I would stay here again but in a larger room
Our room was very small, one of those rooms with little space between the end of the bed and the wall. The balcony was also small and seemed to get very little sun (we were out and about a lot) so I would avoid 217 if you can!
Also the hill up to the property can get a little tiring when doing it repeatedly, but that's the price for great views I suppose 🙂

The hotel was lovely and clean with extremely helpful and friendly staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. The views were exceptional and getting the lake view balcony really paid off.
No complaints at all.

The staff were amazing! They made us feel as we were staying with very good friends. So friendly and so very helpful! It was great to see them every morning at breakfast and throughout the day. The room was really spacious with our own little patio facing an olive grove and the steps to the swimming pool. Really quiet, as requested. The location is superb - so close to everything but away enough from the noise of the town centre. The food is delicious. I would want to come back.
N/A I liked everything about the place.

We had a fantastic week stay. Service was amazing from our check in to departure. The views from the balcony of our room and restaurant area were stunning, overlooking Lake Garda and the mountains. Breakfast on the terrace every morning was most enjoyable , with a wide selection of foods available. There also is a rooftop area , decked out with a seating, spa and again more amazing views. Great spot for an evening drink.

Very nice breakfast. Great stuff.
In our room we could hear a lift.

Nothing at all.

Helpful staff, comfortable rooms, big shower in bathroom, quiet location, terrace on 4th floor has great views.
although not too far would’ve been nicer if it was closer to town

The Lakeside view was absolutely breathtaking & waking up every morning to that was absolutely astounding. The Hotel was within walking distance of Malcesine (but bare in mind that it is halfway up a hill) and all of the restaurants.
The restaurant in the hotel was good with a consistent quality, and incredibly reasonably priced! The hot tub has an incredible view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
The staff were wonderful and lovely. The Hotel is clearly geared more towards the German tourist, as is the whole area, but they still strove to be as helpful and welcoming as they could despite the language barrier (on our end too, definitely should have learnt more Italian).
The airport transfer that the hotel sorted for us was astoundingly cheap. The same distance into Verona cost €130 euros one way, whereas the transfer was less than €100 for both trips. So that’s an enormous benefit as it is an hours trip away from the Airport.
The rooms are more than adequate & are roomy with good natural light - a morning backdrop of the lake with the mountains draped in morning mist is a sight I’ll never be able to forget.
On more than one occasion, we would wake up a noticeable amount of ants in the room. Not the end of the world but obviously not ideal circumstances to wake up to. This wasn’t a daily occurrence however. This happened maybe 3 or 4 times and was easily dealt with - just a bit jarring to step out of bed and onto a couple of ants first thing. Vegetarians and Vegans watch your step!
The pool is definitely not heated either, as it felt like an ice plunge pool - this could have been due to the time of year we visited but it wasn’t cold in Malcesine during our stay, with the average temperature being roughly 23/24 whilst we were there. In the hotels defence though, had it been summer temperatures then that would have been an absolutely welcoming addition.
The rooms don’t have curtains per say, and the only way to close the room off is with shutters that are clipped to the wall outside the room - to this point the neighbouring balcony’s could easily see into both the bedroom and the bathroom. Whilst this isn’t a major issue, it was unsettling to be in the bathroom & then see your neighbour walk out onto their balcony, gain full eye contact with them, all the while not being able to actually create any privacy unless you get yourself redressed, walk out onto the balcony, unclip the shutter, then close it, turn on the bathroom light as it is now dark, and resume your business.
No major issues in my opinion, just small design flaws that someone from the UK may not be accustomed to!

We stayed here in April 2022 over the Easter break. Location couldn't have been better, 10 min walk from the centre which we enjoyed very much. The views from the hotel were absolutely breathtaking, we stayed in the superior double lake balcony view room and it was stunning, as we're the views from the terrace and breakfast room too. facilities and food were great. Hotel is quiet modern with lovely decor, we were surprised this isn't a four star hotel as I think they deserve the fourth star.

Great breakfast! The views from the hotel, especially the roof terrace, were amazing. Only takes about 12 mins to walk down into the town.
The walk back up, especially on a hot day.

The location is great; the view from the balcony room (and the terrace) is simply breathtaking. Room was clean and spacious too, if somewhat noisy. Staff is super friendly, even providing us all with Prosecco for my husband's birthday. Breakfast is excellent. Parking space provided for free. Would definitely return.

The hotel was lovely although it is a bit of a walk from the centre of Malcesine up hill but well worth it for the view. The breakfast in the morning was fabulous with every sort of choice imaginable. Staff were friendly and could not be more helpful especially Katerina and Kati. I took my Mum for a holiday and we had a wonderful stay, there is plenty to do and many more places around the lake to visit and the hotel was a superb base to come back to.
I cannot think of anything that would have improved our stay.
