Everything was very beautiful. The breakfast was awesome. The cave room was wonderful. We also liked the hotel's cats. We made a special friends with one of them ❤️. The staff was always ready to help.
We wanted to experience the spa but the steam sauna was not in use. We used the other sauna but as we are from Finland it wasn't hot enough for us.
There was no wi-fi hotspot in our room as was promised.
The communication with the staff was sometimes difficult because they didn't know much english. Luckyli Google translate did the job.

A little farther away from the center of everything.

The location of the hotel is great, a close walk to everything- even the city centre. The rooms are charming and decorated nicely.
We stayed over New Years for 4 days.. we were told their NYE gala was mandatory for guests so we communicated over email about the evening prior to our arrival. When we arrived (on NYE) we learned we didn't have a reservation and they didn't have room. The gentleman was pretty unapologetic about the whole thing. He didn't even offer up help to locate us a new restaurant until we asked for recommendations. It was disappointing.
The breakfast restaurant was split into 3 areas, separated by the lounge/bar. One morning there was someone smoking in the bar and we inquired about it the manager (seemed like one) said it was permitted to smoke in the lounge but not in the restaurant. We were disappointed with that as we have small children and you need to walk by the smoking to get the food.
The hotel was good but there are many others in the area that I would be tempted to try next time.

cool cave room, nice breakfast, the hotel staffs are very helpful: parking the car, booking the tour and air balloon.
no wifi and signal in the room.

The hotel has great architecture, offering nice scenery and the best of comfort. We liked the room, the terraces, the rocks and all the little details that make this place special. It is representing the typical old houses in Cappadocia, bringing contemporary amenities at the same time. It is also very close to the town centre and good local restaurants.

Yunak Evlery is simply outstanding. one of the most enjoyable accommodation I have been to - and I have been to a lot around APAC. The staff are super nice, the cave hotel itself is mind-blowing. The views from the room as well. Nothing could be better than that
There is nothing I did not like there!

Cave location was excellent. Enjoyed buffet breakfast and dinner too.
Balloon experience was incredible. I never do hotel reviews but this one was amazing.

Very beautiful surroundings, the staff is always ready to help.
Quite expensive in comparison with local prices in other cities, like Istanbul, especially the restaurant prices.
There were not enough outlets in the cave room. Another thing is Wi-Fi, the signal is not even there inside the room. It was working near the reception area, but was very slow.

Nice location. Nice rooms.
Our room was not ready when we arrived at 8pm. We had a reservation for dinner. It took 2 hours for them to sit us and bring some of the main courses. Other main courses arrived much later after those who received their main courses finished their meals. We were told the reason was only 4 waiters were working to serve 300+ people in the restaurant. It was Saturday night and there was a concert in town and the staff were at the concert. The food served did not match the descriptions in the menu, they were cold and lacking. What they called cheese plates were really lettuce plates containing 2 ounces of cheese at most. The meze plate was ridiculous — tomatoes and cucumber as meze items, eggplants and fava beans served directly from can. It was a terrible dinner.
Breakfast selection was ok but lacks items expected in even lower prices hotels in Turkey. No freshly squeezed orange juice, no omelette station, and most importantly no coffee or tea service to the tables. No pot to fill the coffee/tea to serve at the table, the guests need to walk at least to refill their drinks on their own unless they are sitting right next to kitchen area with a few tables. The waiters stand on the side to just to clean the tables. We saw two of them staring at the decollate of a foreign customer and gossiping about it.

One of the most beautiful hotels we have ever been at. An absolutely wonderful experience to stay in such a unique and beautiful place, except for some of the drawbacks mentioned below.
The staff overall were quite unfriendly (except the cleaning ladies and only one or two waiters at the restaurant). The restaurant was extremely overpriced compared to the (slightly better) restaurants just a short walk down the road. The staff service at the hotel restaurant was very bad. The one evening we waited 45 minutes just for our drinks to arrive, and even then 2 out of 6 ordered drinks were missing. When I didn't leave a tip at the restaurant that evening because I felt the service was below par the waiter clapped the bill cover to me in disgust. I was quite shocked and surprised. We then decided to rather go to the restaurants down the road from the hotel, which were also better priced (iced tea for 10 lira compared to 50 lira at the hotel). We asked for some milk for our room to make tea and coffee, which never arrived. Most of the staff speaks very little english.

Hotel is beautiful, food is good, but front desk service does not match the standards you would expect for the type of hotel and price.
