Beautiful property
3.5 / 5.0
Great location with good access to major metro / rail lines and within walking distance of Imperial Palace, Hama-rikyu gardens and Ginza district.
Rooms are on the small side compared to other international locations but this is consistent with Tokyo hotels more generally. Bar and restaurant staff were not very attentive; we chose to visit the Conrad bar and restaurant where the service level was much higher. Reception staff were excellent.

Location was great with direct connection to Haneda and Narita airport. Well connected to many train lines which made it super convenient for visiting different places in Tokyo. Good that there’s a gym in the hotel - basic equipment with treadmills and weights.

The hotel is in a central location, in a vibrant district with great amenity. You are walking distance from the shopping centres in Ginza, and a slightly longer walk away from the Imperial Palace. On a more practical note, the hotel is also near a subway station (as most of Tokyo is), a 24-hour convenience store, and plenty of restaurants. It is easy to find anything that you could possibly need somewhere in the vicinity of the hotel.
The layout inside is initially a little bit confusing from a Western perspective, in that the reception is actually on level 24 — not level 1. Putting that minor peculiarity to one side, the interior is fantastic: modern finishings, a grand two-storey window in the lobby looking out over the park, great internal restaurants and a bar, and plenty of lifts so that you aren't ever left waiting around. The staff are very attentive and very helpful — including by assisting with recommendations, transit advice, and bookings.
Our room was on level 28 and looked out onto Tokyo Tower. On a clear day, you call also see Mount Fuji in the distance. To see both of those sights from our hotel bed was remarkable. The view was one of the highlights of our whole trip to Tokyo.
The room came with all the extras that you would expect and more. The breakfast options at the hotel were excellent, and we were glad to pay slightly more for them.

Very clean, gorgeous rooms. Staff was excellent
Even from the 36th floor you could hear noise of train tracks. I had to change room but after that it was perfect

- Amazing view if you are in one of the rooms facing Tokyo Tower; all the hotel rooms are on high floors.
- Staff is nice; we used Tokyo as a base and used their luggage storage three different times as we came back and forth from Tokyo (always staying at least a night in Tokyo in between).
- Breakfast tickets can be used at one of three restaurants for either breakfast or lunch.
- everything is clean (normal for Japan)
- they left us chocolates and a bottle of champagne since we were traveling for our honey moon which was really nice!
- breakfast is good
- they have excellent coffee (the bigger machine) at breakfast/lunch in the western dining area
- AC takes a while to cool (several hours to a day) after you first arrive if it's been very warm (we were there in a particularly warm September/October)
- breakfast is expensive for what it is; using the breakfast cards for lunch is probably not worth it since you can get a far cheaper lunch elsewhere. If my wife was not such a fan of breakfast, we would have skipped it and ate outside the hotel.

Location is great, both for public transport and car. There is a 24h manned carpark in the basement; however, hotel reception had no knowledge of it when we asked about it. So, we just drove there, parked and took the lift straight to hotel reception floor. Parking is paid in a machine in the carpark, and price for overnight is comparable to street parking overnight. Very convenient and safe carpark.
Rooms were big and ok. Laundry machines are nice, you do not need to bring that much clothes with you for a 10 day stay.
Breakfast room was too small for hotel size. One coffee machine was constantly crowded. But, we did find a table every morning so this was not a big problem; just something which caught our attention in an otherwise perfect stay.

Prefect location right near the station. Great facilities and helpful staff. They even left a small gift for my birthday, we really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely stay again on another trip. :)
Nothing I can think of :D

Great service with a smile. Always there to help you and greet you everytime you pass by. Rooms clean spacious and loved the quiet area and so close to Shimbashi Train Station. Great restaurants opposite the hotel and a family mart openned 24 hours a day. Again thank you for a great time and look forward to seeing you in the future.

Coming from Haneda, this is an easy location with many things to do immediately. The staff was very helpful with luggage transfers and activity suggestions. I liked the breakfast with a view of Tokyo Tower.
no complaints,

The hotel's location is very practical—it is near a big metro station, which facilitates mobility. It is within walking distance of many attractions (Ginza Street, for example), and there are many restaurants and cafes in the zone.
I upgraded the room. However, it did not meet the expectations. Unfortunately, the window was looking at another office building in front. Ideally, when booking, it is good to ensure the room has a view. Tokio is nice to see from far.

I received a confirmation from booking.com that the hotel had confirmed that this reservation would be tagged onto my subsequent reservation of 5 nights, and that the hotel would not charge me any extra amount for this. The message I received on 16-Aug was "We are pleased to let you know that the accommodation has confirmed they will be able to arrange this for you. There will be no extra charge for this request." However, when I checked in, I was asked to pay an extra 7,000 Yen. How is this possible??

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Royal Park. The staff there were very helpful, welcoming, and spoke great English. The room was very clean and had plenty of outlets. The location worked very well for us, with direct access to a large train station and only a 15 minute walk to the vibrant Tsukiji Fish Market. We also loved the hotel's buffet breakfast which had so many options to choose from including salads, fresh fruit, soup, meat, eggs, veggies, pastries, pancakes, coffee, fruit juices, etc. Since the hotel part of the large building begins over 20 floors up, the rooms have nice views of the city.

Great location near a station with a lot of subway lines. Amazing view of Tokyo tower and we even saw mount Fuji one day.
Hotel rooms feels a bit dated and breakfast could use some more variation.

The room was super nice. The staff was exceptional and very friendly. The front desk spoke English very well. I had an issue with my AC, and some staff came up to help. They didn’t speak English, but were willing to google translate. The location was amazing, very close to lots of restaurants, close to a convenience store, and less than a 5 minute walk to the station.

Location. Bar and restaurants at 24 floor were wonderful with great views.
The room (5-10 Jun) on 28F was too small for comfort.
The room we had (26-28 May) on 31F was much more comfortable with newer bathroom facilities.
