The staff is really friendly
The food is great and well cooked.
Great cocktails
Very generous and good breakfast
Welcome and good by drinks
Nice garden
The animals and also beautiful birds
This hotel is very close to the airport and therefore quite noisy because of the planes (some of them are landing at 9PM)..
There are also dogs barking at night and road not so far.
The bungalows are authentique but they need to be refreshed and isolated.
A lot of mosquitos in the kids room and large tropical insects often coming in the bathroom.
We stay in the larger family room and the stairs inside the room are very dangerous and not safe for kids under 6 years old minimum.
The room can't be air conditioned because of the isolation. The room is very dark.
Most of the furniture inside the room are antique but also damaged by insects, times, (for instance the wardrobe, the dining chairs ect...) and not very practical.
The view is so so. The field in the front of the hotel is under construction, and a large complex will be built soon. There are large machines and bulldozers parked in front of the hotel.
The pool is not very clean, old and dangerous for kids because some tiles are broken.
Outside Wooden deck is also too old and dangerous because a lot of rusty screws coming out...
The hotel is fine but not the most comfortable ever for sure and a bit overpriced.

authentic Malaysian style village
it is considered a well preserved over 100-year old house but it would be better if there was more efficient way to prevent insects from entering.

beautiful wooden villas with lots of beautiful details. The pool area was fabulous. comfortable beds and lovely little touches in the rooms.
possibly the room could have benefitted from better lighting.

The chalets are rustic and beautiful inside. Breakfast was delivered to your room and placed in your fridge the evening before so you can have breakfast on your own veranda.
It had the feeling that it was wakening up after being closed for the pandemic.

Amazing place, the stuff very kind and helpful, delicious food, beautiful villas. Plus 4-legged friends.
One can buy great handicraft and local beauty products of great quality.

The layout of the grounds, the garden, the animals. Wondeful place.
We found that the villa we had booked (Yellow Orchid) was smaller than others, where this smaller size was not particularly reflected in the rate, or clear upon booking. I would have selected another villa with more information. The hotel cannot help this, but there was noise from construction work outside of the grounds, which spoiled the piece and quiet I was hoping to find.

Furkids are allowed which is a huge plus sign for us. The whole area is clean and well kept.
There was a live band that played on Sunday and though they were good, it's a bit too loud/ close to the villa and it lasted til late night which was a bit challenging with kids/ elderly trying to sleep - especially when we have an early day next morning.

The food was excellent and we loved the animals. Rooms were beautiful and spacious. We loved the whole atmosphere here - very relaxed, warm and friendly.
I wasn't a huge fan of the DIY breakfast. I prefer when someone else makes my coffee for me while I'm on holidays!

Everything. Bon Ton is an exceptional space. we love the layout, tranquility, cuisine, furry friends, animals in the wild, and more. We were lucky to be there on Sunday evening where there was wonderful live music. The staff were warm, kind, knowledgeable, and patient.

the bathroom
I wish they can put iron and iron board in the property so we don’t have to call them and wait for them to pickup the call and to send the iron.. we were late for our schedule because of that..

Away from the bustle of the beach. Loved the resident cats and the chance to walk dogs from the shelter. Super friendly staff and great restaurant.

Wonderfully accommodating hosts and service.
Beautifully tranquil and relaxing location.
A home away from home.
It is a 20 minute walk from the beach or a 5 minute grab.

The antique villas are tastefully furnished… it was out of the ordinary and just brought back old memories.. an ideal place for a photoshoot too … we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant… Joy was a gem as she entertained us that night ! Wish we could stay longer..
There was no hot breakfast… it would have been great if breakfast was served at the restaurant

Nothing. Loved it

Different from others. I love the ambiance, and landscape (gives you a taste of kampung-style environment). The interior was beautiful. Staffs were awesome and friendly. They were also prompt in addressing some issues..
Some critters (a baby snake and a mouse) actually came into the bathrooms. But i guess since the location is in a ‘natural’ kampung environment, it is not unexpected. The staff was very prompt in addressing the matter.

What I can say everything is fantastic.
The room is clean, the restaurant serve delicious food. I really miss the refreshing drink. The best ever I have try. I really like the hotel concept for breakfast. You can breakfast freely by the pool, or by the pond or anywhere. If you are an intragrammable person, you should stay here.

Really appreciated the authentic Malay traditional houses combined with Balinese architecture of the lobby house. Loved the so many cute cats and dogs within the premise.
Only one toilet in the house and many lizards waiting to spoil food on the dining table.
