Short and sweet overnight stay, very friendly staff and lovely food. Just the room smelt like a care home :(

Good location, friendly staff

Bedroom smelt like an old folks home, care home kind of thing. The bed was very hard and didn’t get much sleep. On the plus side it meant an early get away.

Excellent, Excellent...Did I say Excellent!

The room was a very good size, and it was spotlessly clean. the staff were very helpful and as for the dining experience, possibly the best 'real honest' pub food i have had in a very long while. With the bar and restaurant staff being extremely good at their jobs. Overall an excellent experience

The room was clean comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly and polite.

The Dinner on Friday night was fine however they were short of staff so service was not great.

Nice to experience one of the new shower room / toilet refurbs, quality finish.

Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean , good food and very close to motorway junction.

Meant to mention before leaving. There is a bush on the right side when exiting the front car park, it requires trimming or removing, as it impedes clear visibility of the oncoming traffic on a busy road. Not a complaint , just an observation.

we had a great 3 night stay here and would definitely consider this hotel again as the staff were lovely and friendly, t

the property was beautiful with very large spacious rooms that were immaculately presented with a large bed and tea and coffee making facilities

the noise from the road which could be easily rectified if new windows were installed as the current windows don’t seal or lock so very drafty and they also let lots of road noise in

we were here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. the Fox & Goose offered a perfectl venue to celebrate.

room was clean & spacious with a huge comfortable bed. dining room which is adjacent to the rooms was welcoming and offered good fayre.

there was nothing to dislike

huge comfortable bed, warm when heater was on.

bathroom was a little dated, mould around the bath etc. noisy traffic but slept well regardless!
