Jonge, frisse en fijne plek om je vakantie door te brengen.

Zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten was erg goed. Het zwembad en de spa heerlijk om na een dag snowboarden de spiertjes te laten rusten.

De temperatuur, erg warm in alle ruimten!

A truly wonderful family skiing break!

Amazing stuff, genuinely kind and welcoming. A fusion of an old hotel with a fresh breath of modern, guest experience building facility. You MUST try the buzz room, simply WOW. Spa is super clean and offers treatments with therapists, who have hands of goddess! I recommend Ayurveda treatment! Ski slops are just a few meters away, so you have all the freedom to return at your own pace and not being dependent on the whole family. Rooftop bar is breathtaking and the lobby bar offers a cozy place to enjoy a drink before dinner. We are wine lovers and honestly the offer was very nice, per glass or per bottle;) If you are a cocktail person, go for Gorgeous G, my husband loved it!

We loved the highlight of the bed yet we found it a bit hard. They might loose the hardness over some time and some guests. We were after-all amongst the first. The same goes for the sofa for our daughter but they reassured us the top ups are on the way, for next time when we return;)

Well équipes hotel with nice staff

Well-equipped property and very nice staff. The pool the sauna area are great. The food was good quality and great choice buffet breakfast and buffet dinner, we took half board option. The hotel is ideally situated in the town center. The garage is a big plus. They saved “me” because as we forgot the light switched on in the car, the battery got decharged by the time we needed to leave. The owner and a mechanician in no time flat solved the problem. Thanks for this. If you use the übungslift with a child who cannot ski yet, it is convenient to book a ski course. Then the school will pick you up. Otherwise it is 16 euros for a very short drive by skitaxi. But public bus is also an option.

Pool’s water a bit cold for me but ok for my kids.

Room. Food. People. Vibe. Ski in/out. Spa. Cleanness. Service. Ski room. Attention to detail. Well organised. Lobby.

WiFi was slow, but even better :)

Variety at the breakfast

The tables had sitting order for dinner but not for breakfast. We only had breakfast but no table to sit at without angry looks from other people who thought we stole them a table :( Grill restaurant needs to improve. We waited for 1 hour and the meal was cold-warm

Good choice of food on breakfast and dinner. We had nice and quiet family room. Car park is just into the Hotel. The ski-slope number 25a is just cross the bridge 5 - approx: 100 m

Very friendly and helpful staff, excelent location for skiing in Obertauern. We had a honeymoon suite, which was great sized and had a private jacuzzi.

Lot of Danish guests who were often loud and drunk. The temperature in thé room should be higher than 20 degrees on full heat power.

Would thoroughly recommend staying here

Really impressed by the buffet breakfast and evening meal. Great choice of food, tasty and of high quality. The staff are really pleasant and hard working

The swimming pool was a bit too cold to enjoy a swim. The room was too hot and stuffy. We had the window open the whole time which is very wasteful of energy.

Great stay in a fab hotel.

Exceptionally clean, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, powerful and hot showers, fast lift, very close to the slopes, relaxed bar

Me like it

15 points from 10 goes to STAFF!!!! Arriving 10 meters left to hotel we got stuck in the snow, bar personel just finished the shift and helped us despite cold and heavy snow, special thanks to Bulgarian Filipe from the restaurant (sorry if mistakes in name...) Also was late arrival, after 22:00 but they managed to let us in, thanks for that! Clean room, comfy beds, good spa zone included in price. Live cooked ommelette during the breakfast, slopes just across the street, big ski storage room, garagge for cars - with heavy snow outside you can easily enter your car - I liked everything there. People, dont listen bad reviews about this hotel - of course, nothing is perfect and maybe some people dont liked something, but Hotel Marietta deserves better ranking, for sure.

Weather. Just weather outside the hotel was the bad thing during our stay :) Maybe a bit slow wifi, but people, you are coming for vacation, not for scrolling so i consider this as a plus.

This price in 4* hotel in Obertauern? A perfect deal!

Perfect location in the center of Obertauern, 100 m of walk and you are on the slope. Good food, nice (and little frequented) pool and sauna, and, above all, very friendly staff. We'll be back!

Superb

Hotel with a long tradition, where the Beatles played their only one concert in Austria. Always helpful staff who do not speak German, but this is no problem at all! I think they are students from Denmark, Holland .. Excellent food! Large hotel lobby, where we always relax after skiing. We spent a week here with our 6 month old son. Fully recommend!
