Breakfast: excellent, the best I experienced in India, as quality and service
Room: very big and comfortable, bathroom a little bit old
The restaurants are excellent, very elegant and with good service and menu
The inside is wonderful, rich in fresh flowers, cared for in detail
The location is very good
I didn't appreciate the hotel reception: a too long waiting to have the room, nothing to drink offered in the meanwhile, the extra bed booked not ready on arrival.
I was very upset that during Sunday 24th March the pool was unusable all day long "because of a private party" and the indoor pool was closed too "because it was Holi day"! I complained at the reception desk that I was supposed to be informed at the moment of our booking or at least some days prior our arrival, I paid for these services and I didn't get any previous information neither a discount!

mattresses were very comfortable
my room was old and very compact.

Location/restaurants (but the breakfast has fallen in quality from prior years)
Too much noise. The hotel room was too cold (I dated 5 nights) and they could not fix it despite the tech coming 4 times. The room also had some outside noise — I had a upper end executive room

location
I was allotted a room on the first floor which was noisy because of a lot of movement in the corridor and the dining area right below the window. I asked for a room change. The temperature control in the new room did not work even after repairs of the AC regulator by the technician. It remained fixed at a cold 21’ C throughout.

The breakfast was really delightful and beautiful - the ambiance, food, and service. Very friendly staff, always smiling, and helpful. Special mention goes to Mayang, Odi and Bhagout - thank you for making my stay so memorable!

3.0 / 5.0
I booked a Cabon type room, so over-priced. I booked it as it promised to give me a renovated room in a Heritage hotel. But, at checkin this type of room wasn't made available, and instead I was so called upgraded to a 'Heritage ' Room. Though it was a large room, but totally lacked any fresh feeling, and had very old fashioned look and feel. This totally marred my stay in the hotel, which I had booked with lot of expectations. The hotels shouldn't indulge in this so called upgrade business.
Overall, depressing experience. Won't repeat stay in this property!
