The room was cleaning and the breakfast was very good.
The hotel restaurant is too far from the room and I have to take two elevators to get there.
4.4
Beautiful place to stay for 1-2 days
Access to beautiful garden
4.4
Das Zimmer, die spektakuläre Architektur und die einigermaßen zentrale Lage.
Es gab nichts zu kritisieren - allenfalls wäre etwas mehr Englisch sprechendes Personal hilfreich gewesen.

While the design and structure of the hotel were visually appealing, resembling an ancient building with a spacious garden, my overall experience was still disappointing.
Despite the interesting aesthetics, the poor service, inexperienced staff, and small room overshadowed the positive aspects. It's important for a hotel to provide a well-rounded experience, including both visual appeal and quality service. Unfortunately, in this case, the design and structure couldn't compensate for the other shortcomings.

Signature building or the hotel.
Enjoy free admission of PAN MEN just next to the hotel, this is a wonderful attraction for the hotel guest , no that crowded.
Room are big enough, and the viewing is nice
Lobby at level 3

I loved this hotel so much, though we stayed just one night! The hotel itself was gorgeous, tastefully decorated, clean and comfy. We got a free room upgrade to the suite, it was FANTASTIC!
The staff was friendly and helpful.
The location is exceptionally beautiful and with direct access to the gardens and the pagoda. I enjoyed walking there!
The breakfast was great.
Also I used the swimming pool.
I would love to come back!

This hotel is next level. First of all, it is absolutely massive and has a lot of facilities. The hotel itself looks great and is well kept. The room I stayed in was clean and the bed was absolutely amazing. I’m truly happy to have stayed here.

All the staff I met during my stay were kind and helpful. The hotel looks beautiful outside. The direct access to the Ruiguang Padoga in the back is a big bonus. The breakfast and the Chinese restaurant are both very good.
Although the room pictures on the website looks great but the room you got can be a complete disaster. For example, the room 4080 that I stayed was the worst that I have stayed in the whole year of 2023: intolerable noise level and terrible (no) view. First, whenever there was a trolley passing, I got the noise clearly inside the room. 4080 was bounded by two corridors in two sides, which made it even worse! I had light sleeping and was wakened up at 5/6 in the early morning because of the trolley noise from both sides of the room. 4080 is facing a corridor with a 90 degree angle, which mean whenever there was a people passing through, they can see everything in my room so have to shut the curtain all the time, day and night. The window was directly facing to a big white wall of another building, can not believe such a room exist in the first place and the hotel is even dare to assign such a terrible room to any customers. It should be used as a storage space instead, period. I knew the hotel long time ago when it was still a Sheraton and was so excited for the stay this time that I intentionally canceled booking in another wonderful hotel for my last day in Suzhou, but it turned out to be THE biggest disappointment among all hotel stays that I had in 2023.

Rooms and location were great. Breakfast options were good.
Breakfast restaurant not open for meals at dinner. Lunch snacks after 2pm were very limited. Had some fries which came out cold.

Bed was comfortable, washroom had lots of counter space, convenient access to Pan Men and beautiful park. Koi pond had lots of gorgeous fish, and breakfast buffet is quite decent.
A few issues with our experience at this hotel. First off, check-in took way too long. Only one service staff was available at the counter when we checked in, and she was dealing with an issue with some other members so we were waiting almost half and hour to get checked in. We were tired and hungry after a long day of travelling and did not enjoy this check-in experience. We also were disappointed to find that the steam room and sauna were not open for use, and the service attendant informed us that they were not able to turn it on. The layout of the building was quite strange and inconvenient as well, requiring us to constantly switch elevators and loop around in order to get from our room to the main entryway and dining room. When we finally checked out the hotel and the charge came through my account, the value was different than what was quoted upon booking. I tried to contact the hotel via phone and email to clarify the reason, but I was not able to reach the hotel through either method (the phone number on the website was for the Singapore Pan Pacific for some reason, who was not able to transfer me over to the Suzhou hotel. And the email address bounced back). This was our first stay at a Pan Pacific and it did not leave a good impression on us.

Very nice friendly staff. Braskfast spread could have been better. Location is good if you take taxi to move around, otherwise its a far walk from subway station
Far walk from subway station

I like their coupons with Panmen and Ancient canal cruise, those are good to me getting more understanding in Suzhou. You guys should stay one night with that hotel.
They should guide guests to the assigned seats for the breakfast but not let them find what they wanted. I found one elder couple getting my seat during my 3rd round to get the food back. At that time, I don’t want to argue nor complain to them and the staffs. Later I wrote it down since I prefer that hotel to think about how to improve that procedure to make sure each guests get the exactly seats and enjoy their food.

The location was excellent. Traditional hotel but modern and very clean. The guests have access to the Pan MEN Park. Beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly.
Everything went well.

Location, comfortable bed.
The property is undergoing major renovations that was not mentioned. Bathroom towels were dirty when checking in, very old fashioned bathroom. old style
4.4
Nice hotel, good location for exploring. 2 good sized pools.
The hotel could be a bit cleaner. Cigarette ash on the bedroom floor, dirty water in areas surrounding the hotel.
Check in took 45 minutes.
4.4
Comfortable bed. Nice and clean bathroom. Amenities in room, big swimming pool, Pan men garden.
Refrigerator in both rooms were old and not cold enough. Rather a but warm. Asked to exchange or fix but never came.
Swimming pool and lounger area need refurbishment. Dated.
Need a proper small bar for guests who likes to lounge with music and drinks.

this is the 3rd time i have stayed at the hotel this summer: this time i stayed with two other families with children, but when we arrived the swimming pool was closed. This was the main reason we stayed here. The hotel was also very busy at check in, overwhelming the reception: lots of staff just standing around doing nothing and an overcrowded small lobby due to roadworks blocking the main entrance. Very poorly dealt with

The room was spacious with a cozy bed and large bathroom, including a tub. The desk offered an excellent area to work supported by reliable WiFi. Breakfast was plentiful. There is a wide variety of Chinese breakfast items, pastries, and fresh fruit. There is easy access to a nearby temple, pagoda, and gardens. The Grand Canal area is within walking distance.
Pan Pacific Hotel is surrounded by massive road construction that makes walking, cycling, and driving to any of the nearby sites challenging and, at times, dangerous. The hotel is also renovating its main entrance and has shifted the lobby to one side of the building. Pan Pacific was crowded during my stay. The main pool was not big enough to accommodate adults and dozens of kids in the evenings. The breakfast room was so crowded during the weekend that a stranger joined my table while I was getting coffee. My room had a terrace that looked inviting through the window and in pictures. In reality it was uncomfortable. It was surrounded by high concrete walls with other rooms looking into the space.

The room was really very good, and the balcony nice.
The location was okay - close to a subway station.
