In summary - I would definitely stay here again. Great location and very friendly staff.

The Hotel was very nice and staff were extremely friendly. The room we stayed in was clean, bed was comfortable there was a selection of tea/coffee and biscuits in the room which was nice. Plus, you could book breakfast - which was continental but very filling with an array of choices.

My only disappointment was the parking. If we hadn't arrived early we wouldn't have been able to park at the property. The spaces were limited so it would have been good to know this ahead of time. As one of the reasons for booking there was the fact that parking was available. Having said that we were fine in terms of parking and were able to leave our car until we left.

we won’t be coming back , not good value at all .

Near the station and centre of town

We asked for a double room . a further bed was put in the room for the next guests which made it impossible to get out of the double bed on one side and walk to the bathroom . the second bed was jammed up against the double bed . The shower unit was good , the actual shower was pathetic , no power at all , just a dribble of water . This is so important in a hotel room . The breakfast was average .

Stayed here before when visiting relatives locally. Friendly helpful staff, clean, nice breakfast and great location. Safe parking for car.

Accommodations were OK, but not over the top & didn’t expect to be.

Beds were not comfortable, for the price beds should be of better quality. Also there was a naked woman in her window across the street. Not the hotels fault, but terrible view!

Unfriendly owner. Pleasant enough stay when problem resolved.

With some protesting, the owner did eventually give us a new room. After this initial problem, our stay was quite pleasant. Nice view from the window, nice breakfast, reasonable decor.

We were a family of 3 coming because the hotel advertised a family room (double and single bed). We arrived to find that the second bed was in fact a sofa bed which we were expected to make up ourselves. The unfriendly owner told us we needed to make our own bed with a 'I really don't care' air. Luckily we tried to make the sofa bed before going out. We then found out it was broken. When we asked the unfriendly owner to help us, she told us it was broken and shrugged her shoulders when we asked her what we should do about the fact that one of us now had no bed to sleep on. We had to really push to get her to take responsibility for her own hotel. She seemed to think it was ok for us to make do with just sleeping on the sofa (for a nearly 6 foot, large frame young man). She offered us a token discount in the same uncaring manner. It took a strong disposition to complain enough so that she gave us a different room.

Nice clean hotel I'm a great location

A1 location for Beckenham town and the Beckenham junction station. A couple of minutes walk to both and then a 20 minute train to Victoria

Not a big deal but room and bed were quite small

convenient for my work schedule

The bed and bedding stank of stale aftershave. shower needs attention and clean. Mosquito in room. breakfast stale croissant and horrible coffee.

One night stay.

The room was lovely, the garden was beautiful, the staff members were very kind and helpful. The location was perfect, quiet neighbourhood, just a few minutes walk from the train station or bus stop.

Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable.

No greeting or welcome from host. Very impersonal through speaker system & told we would find the key in our door.

Lovely stay

Location is great near the station and a short walk to the high street. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was a good continental the whole place was clean and the garden was a lovely bonus

Unfortunately the mattress in our family room was not comfortable at all, it wasn't firm enough and collapsed in the centre. Luckily the sofa bed was firmer.

The location was good, by the station

The staff were rude when asked simple questions, spent most their time chatting in the cafe or garden until late night. There was no mini fridge in the room. The cleanliness could have been better, shower kept falling. The rate is quite expensive for what you get.

Very clean and comfortable room. Lovely spacious shower with good power/water flow. Great location. There was no one at the property when we checked in, but was a very easy process to follow, using the doorbell/intercom. Free onsite parking too which was excellent!!
