Wunderschön in einer Zitrusplantage gelegen und nahe am Addo

Schöne Lage inmitten einer Zitrusplantage; schöner Garten und 20 Minuten zum Addo Nationalpark; Essen im Guesthouse war gut

Leider hatten wir das Pech, dass morgens Loadshedding war und es keinen Strom und auch kein Wasser gab

Kleine Oase nahe Addo

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit Pool im riesigem Garten und vielen Blumen und Bäumen, unter denen man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen fand. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Sehr gutes Frühstück und kleines Restaurant auf dem Grundstück für Lunch und gutes Dinner. Einige Kilometer vom Addo entfernt. Die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Besitzerin Emma hat uns vorab Safaris in Addo und Schotia reserviert. Alles empfehlenswert.

Heerlijk en relaxed verblijf gehad.

Heerlijk gelegen in een oase van groen en citrusbomen. 20 mins rijden van het Addo olifantenpark. Zwembadje en eterij op locatie. Top ontbijt.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Fijn familie verblijf voor een bezoek aan Addo Elephant Park

Hele fijne locatie wanneer je het Addo Elephan park bezoekt. Ontzettend lieve gastvrouw. Die ´s avonds toen wij aankwamen zelfs nog sandwiches voor ons en onze kinderen ging maken. De tuin is prachtig en we hebben heerlijk ontbeten in het Guesthouse. En lekker gegeten in het restauran The Eatery. Echt een aanrader.

Niks! Alleen een tip; neem de verharde weg naar de accommodatie. Niet de snelle route die Googe Maps aangeeft.

Het is broedseizoen, dus de Ibis vogels maken een hoop herrie. Hoort eruit bij, maar is in de vroege ochtend wellicht vervelend.

Geweldig!

Perfecte uitvalbasis voor Addo Elephant Park. Mooie B&B op een citrusboomgaard waar je ook nog een mooie wandeling kunt doen. Een aanrader is zeker het restaurant bij deze B&B. Hier hebben wij het lekkerst gegeten tijdens onze reis.

Gorgeous place!

What a gorgeous place! We had the most beautyful room we had so far in Africa, on a lovely citrus farm. Host Emma was very nice, as were all the staff. We had dinner on the premise. Though service was a bit slow, the food was really good. There was load shedding from 19 till 21 hours, but it didn't bother us, as there was a generator active. Breakfast was very nice, with eggs to order. Location is only 11 kilometers from the entrance to Addo Elephant Park.

Most beautiful place ever. Iris was amazing, so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. She even got the wondering chef to stay and cook us dinner as we were late arranging . Can't praise this place enough.

Cold rooms, cold water that was solved by moving us to other a bit less nicer rooms. No compensation was given. But problem was solved.

Good place to stay BUT not as rosy as it shows on the website

The grounds and outside areas are very pretty and the views are good. The rooms are very spacious inside and tastefully furnished and finished. Staff are friendly

Not all items on menu at restaurant are available i.e. the food offering is limited........only one person doing cooking, serving, etc.,....too much for one person. Beer and wine selection is limited and poorly presented Externals of buildings are old and in need of some re-decoration and upgrading Not much input from owners

Breakfast was very tasty. The room was spacious and beautiful. Loved the view. Eatery restaurant lovely food. Emma was a helpful, friendly host. Friendly staff. Very clean, Safe parking. Only 15min from Addo - you can order your breakfast as a take away as well. Air conditioning worked well as it was cold!

It was beyond our expectation

The property is exceptional, so many places to explore, and the sunset was breathtaking. The room was clean and the shower was perfect with quick hot water. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The hosts are very friendly and welcomed us with open arms.

Wonderful stay in paradise

We visited Gerald's Gift House for a long weekend to do some safaris. We had a wonderful stay with Emma and her family. They were very friendly and helped us with all our questions and organized the safari tours for us. The whole property is beautiful. We especially loved the beautiful large garden and lemon fields. The whole staff team was super lovely. Breakfast was great and our highlight was dinner at the Eatery Restaurant. We haven't eaten that well in a long time. Thank you to the lovely chef!

If we have to make a suggestion for improvement, it would be a freshup of the rooms, as at least ours is getting a bit long in the tooth. Maybe with lighter furniture the room could look a bit more friendly. But overall it was a WONDERFUL stay.

Great place, we recommend it

the location and the guest house is really good. All the staff was really nice, the view and their own restaurant are perfect. The food was also excellent. They recommended us to visit the Schotia Game Reserve and it was the best part of our trip.

The wifi could have been a bit stronger in our room but we weren't on holidays to be on internet.
