Beautiful Bed and Breakfast, home-made breakfast together in the kitchen with other guests was fun. Location was perfect. Restaurant near-by.
No air condition.

We enjoyed the quiet reprieve after spending time in Amsterdam. Everything was immaculate and comfortable and the rural landscape views made it a very relaxing stay. The kitchen was very well equipped.
A tea strainer would be helpful.
4.4
Beautiful location close to charming town and within reasonable distance to highways (~15 min drive) and Amsterdam or Utrecht (~30-45min).
Comfortable, large room with full kitchen. Good bed and shower. It is located on an actively managed (horse) farm so need to keep that in mind.
Check-in was a bit random with our name on a sign indoors and needing help from the yard folks as the host wasn't present. We did not get to see our hosts at all during our 3 day stay, also with us out a lot. If felt a bit impersonal compared to the expectation and experiences at other B&Bs.
While the room was very nicely done, it seemed that it was still a work-in-progress with several (minor) things not fully done or working: no instructions for any of the appliances, incl AC; no way to hang up your clothes or towels in the bathroom, towels were washed out and very hard, TV did not work.
4.4
Availability of the staff and the service is very bad. Cold water in the shower during my whole stay. Too noisy in the night, because of animals outside couldn`t sleep and furthermore you can hear every single word from your neighbours.

Quiet location
Helpful staff
Comfortable bed
Beautiful surroundings

Room was big. Clean. Free parking. We parked the car at train station and took train to Amsterdam. Quite cinvenient. It took 15 minutes drive from the property to train station.
I booked the room that had washing machine but there was none. Host not allowed us to check in later than 8 pm.

The location was myrific, in the middle of nature. It was so silent and we could hear the birds singing early in the morning. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The mattress and pillows were comfy so we had a restful sleep. We tavelled by car so I can’t recommend a proper public transportation to Amsterdam. But it is around 25 min to the center. Nearby the property, there is a restaurant but in the evening it is rather crowded so book your table. Otherwise you can find great locations to eat in Weesp or other towns around.
I liked the property a lot. I will just mention the train nearby as other customers noted it. However, you can hear it late in the evening and early morning so it won’t disturb your night sleep.

Lovely country location with great rooms for us to share as a family.
4.4
The accommodation was clean and friendly
Didn’t realise you needed a car, as the accommodations is quite far out of Weesp.
4.4
A very lovely place in the countryside, very kind personnel, wonderful breakfast
It's almost impossible to move. 20 minutes walk to reache the bus stop, one bus per hour, and on Sunday there is even no bus! If you don't travel by car, forget it!

Host’s Description of details about the property in Booking.Com did not match with the actuals. Issues faced as below
1. When we went the gate was locked and no one picked up when we called, no gate code was sent in prior, so we waited for about 30 minutes with panic.
2. After 30 minutes a guy came from outside and opened, when asked, he said the host is on a phone meeting (???) hence couldnt pick up the call, he didnt even apologize
3. He placed us in a apartment totally different from what we asked for, the bathroom was in the ground floor and the beds were on an attic with steep steps, we were completely disappointed, when asked him, he said he can not do anything and will check with Irene.
4. No introduction was done, we didnt know who was Irene and who was this guy
5. When we showed our disappointment and said we have big luggage which cannot be taken to our bed room, he said he will try and get a diiferent appartement next day but it was painful for a day and the couch was dirty covered with a towel. No toiletries provided.
6. They did change our apartment next day, it was much better except if you are a privacy person watch out, there are no doors for shower or toilet/rest rooms.
7. Washer dryer is mentioned in the description but the guy said no Washer dryer but ask the housekeeping they will help, when checked with housekeeping, she said feel free to use the washer/Dryer room. When we tried entering the W/D room , One lady ( Irene?) came and rudely said ‘Dont enter it is my personal W/D. She was also rude enough to say she is busy and she can not talk now and went away!
8. Finally except for all these issues, the village Weesp is a beautiful village with river and many restaurants on the banks and many beautiful holiday homes closer to the village

the bed was too hard for my taste.

Wonderful little piece of heaven just a few minutes outside of Amsterdam. Located on the outskirts of Weesp if you have a car everything is easily accessible. Everything was perfect, from the communication before arrival to check in and the room. Everything you could need is there to find. Spotless and very well kept, the owners love their farmhouse. All the kind animals around just reflect the peaceful vibe.
We loved it and recommend to people who are looking to slow down and breathe.
We were beyond happy, perfect getaway

The breakfasts were Amazing !
Nearby is full of true NL Naturae!
And at the same time it is 20min to center of Amsterdam.
Staff is friendly. Accomodation is in Lovely natural way in dominance with wood!
View from room was wonderfull.

the room I had was beautiful and very spacious. the animals were very friendly and adorable! staff were extremely accommodating and helpful with offering suggestions on things to do.
maybe just a bit too secluded for someone not driving or cycling and wanting to explore as much as possible.
4.4
The breakfast was wonderful and very tasty. The location is about a 40 min walk outside of Weesp city center. By car 5 or 10 minutes. The location is peaceful and well maintained. I nice get-a-way from the chaotic “real” world.
It would have been great if they offered bike rental on the property. An inside seating area for guests to lounge would have been nice also.

Very good quality for money, perfect place to stay.
Nothing

private, clean, big rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast
liked everything

It is written that breakfast is included, but it is not actually included. Temporary price increases have to be paid in cash. The house is very old and the stairs are very high. Very unsuitable for people.

very clean and cute room, lovely style. The bed is comfortable.
The bread in Breakfast taste nicht so good.

The location was lovely, the buildings and gardens amazing and we were undisturbed by anyone which was awesome. It was a great experience and really comfortable to be here. The standard is really high and the apartment clean. The nature around was gorgeous as well.
The toilet was not separate and had no door. There are trains passing through every few minutes but the staff have laft ear plugs so it's not really a problem. I would still come here again though. Objectively this is a stunning property and location. I wish Boerenhofstede de overhorn and the people who work good health and fortunes.

Amazing location, very nice and friendly host

We really liked the apartment, the view from the area, just outside Nardermeer, what could be better. The first impression coming to the place was outstanding and the apartment was way better than expected though the pictures from Booking.com are true. You have to see it to believe it. We are nature lovers and to be in the middle of it all is fantastic. If we ever go to this area again we will book here.
That we had to leave it again.
4.4
Lots of windows and light coming into the apartment, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, lots of ducks and cows and other animals around
I would only add salt and pepper in the kitchen
4.4
Clean rooms
Breakfast is not included in bed and breakfast & not worth the $. Was asked to pay an extra 150 euro for breakfast and bike usage. Above and beyond my 4-night stay which was very steep for location. I left very upset for being taken advantage of. Irene owner, pulled me in with physical force to pay the extra money when leaving. Noting she would call the cops if I didn’t pay! I’m saddened by this stay and the behavior that happened.
4.4
Just a slight negative to my experience is that the B&B is situated close to the railway tracks and the trains travel past quite frequently.
4.4
Everything is nice, clean, cosy. Very nice and pleasant stuff

The venue is very nice with lots of style. The Junior room is spacious and beautifully decorated. Staff is super friendly and makes you feel at home right away. Breakfast is great. There is an electric charge point for electric cars. Close to Weesp (3km) and Muiden (6 km), as well as close to Naardenmeer which is a Natuurmonumenten (nature monument) site since 1906, great for hiking and bird watching. Also, very close to Fort Uitermeer (200 m) with a nice restaurant overlooking water and farmlands.
Located within hearing distance of a railway crossing. One can hear the bell at night when the train passes, which is relatively frequent.
4.4
Very nice environment!
Many musquitos
