Excellent location , in the hart of the city.

Location good , breakfast was satisfactory without being great. Welcome was good from reception staff.
Price very high due to Billy Joel concert £400 per night.
Bed small / Aircon ineffective

Always lovely staff and very clean hotel
The rooms can get quite warm

So handy to everything in central Cardiff. A very close car park within 5 minutes walk at the train station.
The room was lovely. Staff on check in/ out were friendly and helpful.
The aircon had a timer and was off for much of the night. It was very hot overnight.
The bathroom could do with better lighting.

Clean, spacious rooms in a very central location. Double deluxe room had both a double and single bed. All accomodities including hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo were provided. Easy to walk to the main streets. Barely a 2 min walk from the drop-off location on Custom House Street using the Cardiff Airport to City Centre bus. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and were always available via the front desk.
Upon arrival, we waited in the restaurant/bar area before our room was ready. I attempted to order some drinks as we waited, and nobody was about to serve us. Our bed wasn't made and the towels weren't replaced on the second day. The cleaner accidentally removed our second room key and we had to be reissued another one. The bedding that the hotel used came off the bed very easily. We pre-booked a taxi via the hotel for 6am collection on our final day. When reception called our room to inform us that the driver had arrived at 5.50am, the phone disconnected. By the time we made it downstairs (at 5.55am) the driver had already left.

.Always a lovely place to stay. First choice every time.
Only a little complaint...1 toilet roll between 3 people for 2 days? . Could have been topped up.

Breakfast was excellent, staff really helpful
4.3
Everything was perfect, staff, location, room, breakfast and location.
Everything was great.
4.3
Friendly staff at reception, clean room, sky channels were a great bonus.
The bed was very small for a Deluxe Double. The breakfast area was very disorganised. We were given a table and then told to sit elsewhere as someone else was sitting there. I asked for a tea spoon to dispose of my teabag and was told there should be on on my table but there wasn't. After serving our breakfast, we then had to wait for cutlery whilst aloud breakfast was getting cold. Only 1 coffee machine was working and then this one broke down during our visit. The Pineapple was not fresh with brown bits on it. No toilet brush in bathroom.
4.3
Location was good for Utilita Arena.
Staff were pleasant.
Room was clean
Not a fan of self service check in.
Room was a bit on the cosy side.
Duvet (along with most every hotel we've stayed in) was way too heavy for this time of year.
Shame hotel bar was closed before we got back from our show.
4.3
The pillows and bed were so comfy! Also loved the bottles of water and little touches in the room
The shower - very little pressure

Location
Many of the hotel guests attended the Bruce Springsteen concert, and the hotel adjusted their prices accordingly due to the increased demand. I was willing to pay this rate for the location until I encountered an issue. Despite the management being aware of the concert's end time at 10 pm and the expected influx of guests, there was only one person serving at the bar around 10:15 pm. This is unacceptable given the circumstances, especially considering the additional charge levied on guests, which should have allowed for adequate staffing. Despite the tremendous effort of the lone staff member, who maintained a positive attitude throughout, sporadic support from a manager was insufficient, particularly when the manager lacked basic knowledge such as what a blush wine is.
Furthermore, despite the bar area being overcrowded and lacking seating for guests, the manager refused to open the adjoining room, citing it was set for breakfast. This decision was neither customer-friendly nor conducive to encouraging guests to stay longer and spend more in your bar.
Given our first round of drinks was£111 you certainly missed out on sales due to this poor management and woful customer service.

Perfect location
Hairdryer bag empty - no hairdryer- obviously hadn’t been checked by housekeeping
Safe locked so unable to use without getting reception to open
Room very hot and stuffy
Facilities in room poor given cost of room
Queues for lifts. Couldn’t cope with full hotel
4.3
Clean, lovely staff, great location.
Shocking prices when concerts are on
4.3
Loved the location. Staff were all really friendly.
Tv channels didn’t work. Room cramped. Large red stain on carpet. Food fair only. Shower weak and bath slippery.

4.3
I liked everything since I had previously worked for Clayton in Galway in Ireland
everything was done well
4.3
Central location by station very useful, room comfortable but not 'luxurious', small sofa and chair with coffee table breakfast good variety of healthy options
I prefer a proper shower rather than one in a bath with fixed shower head ( although I understand the reasons)
limited power points in room to run computer and/or chargers ( did not want to unplug TV or fridge )
Instructions in lift were wrong ( you DO have to tap for going to ground floor )

We forgot to book breakfast for £9.50. In the morning we had a breakfast. They were not aware at reception. We told them we needed to pay for 2 breakfasts. We were charged £15 per person. After complaining this was dropped to £12.50. We paid but were not impressed.

Convenient to rail station and city attractions
Bedroom was dark as it was a corner room with a very small window. Would not call it an executive room.
