Second time we have stayed here and won’t be the last

The location of this motel was perfect close to town, the size of the rooms for the cost are great plenty of room for our 2yr old to play and be kept entertained, the rooms contain bath and showers, a mini kitchenette with everything that is needed, while we had a small issue with the shower tap, the problem was solved very quickly and efficiently and we were not put out at all! The staff were friendly and helpful

Comfortable beds, good kitchenette.

Paper thin walls between our unit and the next, creaking floor in our and neighbouring bathrooms, squeaky hinge on bathroom door, swollen door that jammed, no clearly marked parking areas.

Midlands Motel is in a fabulous location looking over the beautiful Manning River. It's an old motel which needs refurbishing. I understand this is a work in progress. The rooms are large and clean. The linen good quality. The beds are comfortable. It's a short walk from Taree's Aquatic Club and Sailos Bistro where the food and view are always good. We look forward to our next visit when the refurbishment is complete.

No Internet as advertised

booking.com advertise this Motel with Wi Fi.The Wi Fi didn’t work and they couldn’t get it going so I question if it ever does work . Possibly false advertising by booking.com

Bed was firm which we usually like, however there was no "softness" on top. Nothing a mattress topper wouldn't fix though.

the shower was broken. it is split in the middle so the water was squirting onto the roof and all over the toilet

Friendly, comfortable, had everything we needed

Late check-in was very easy. The staff were so friendly and lovely. The beds were comfortable. It was lovely being so close to the river, and there were a few food options very close by. We appreciated the small kitchen. This was a typical motel in a regional town - not new or flash, but it had everything we needed plus a laundry and pool that we didn't need this time around but would have appreciated if we were staying longer and in summer :)
