Nice place with some compromises

The apartment was conveniently located and check-in was super-easy, including communication with Le Chat Qui Dort. The place was clean, we really liked the comfortable bed and appliances that were made available.

From the pictures, it wasn't clear that toilet is not separated with a door, just the curtain. I think we just assumed it would be in a closed bathroom. Some people (like us) may find it uncomfortable. Also, in the pictures you see a variety of apartments, I think we got the smallest. Which is fair, but a little disappointing.

Superb for a couple get away!

We got a perfect room on the ground floor that was perfect after a whole day of walking and having sore legs... when I came in it smelled like Nivea cream! So nice. Rituals cosmetics add on the quality but also sustainability value. We got an iron, a hair dryer, a fan, two TVs, equipped kitchenette, hangers, towels, and everything that a couple would need for a two-day getaway! The check-out time was just perfect, and when we wanted to store our bags somewhere before the check-in and after the check-out, there was no problem with that! We called a phone line, and the woman picked up directly helping us further with the storage! 😌

Only the sink was blocked which was very unfortunate. I saw some comments on the bathroom not having a door, it could be unfortunate in some cases but for us, it was really okay.

Toilette extrem eng und nur mit einem Vorhang vom Rest des Raumes getrennt.

Les toilettes n ont pas de porte et donnent sur le coin chambre., il y a juste un rideau Idem pour la douche sans rideau ouverte sur l appartement. Décoration et meubles en contre-plaqué brut.

Très bon logement

Les + : L'emplacement de l'appartement, dans un quartier résidentiel et calme, à quelques minutes du vieux centre et des commodités (supérettes à proximité). L'appartement est propre et sain, moderne, et dispose de tout le nécessaire. L'accès est sécurisé et la récupération des clés est facile. Nous avons pu accéder à l'hébergement un peu plus tôt que prévu pour déposer nos bagages. Des bouteilles d'eau étaient laissées à disposition à notre arrivée.

Les - : Il n'est nulle part fait mention des conditions d'accessibilité au logement qui ont été difficiles pour les personnes d'un certain âge avec qui je me trouvais. Nous étions dans l'appartement De Gaulle, au 2e étage de l'immeuble, auquel il faut accéder par un escalier serré aux marches étroites. Il peut être difficile de les monter avec une poussette ou une grosse valise. L'accès à la chambre en duplex était également compliqué, avec la charpente sous laquelle il faut se plier pour pouvoir accéder au lit. Le canapé lit du salon n'était pas très confortable.

En conclusion a refaire mais avec un appartement plus grand.

Donc l'emplacement très bien pour nous. Le système de récupération des clefs facile. Logement propre rien à redire. Cuisine propre aussi aucun souci de ce côté. Matelas confortable. Linge propre. Côté cuisine frigo un peu grand pour nous (3nuits de séjour) en état impeccable. Largement équipé pour déjeuner voir diner. Douche = stabilité de la chaleur de l'eau (pas de douche écossaise- cool)

Nous n'avions pas compris que le lit était sur une sorte de caisson. Bien pour celui qui est du côté couloir, pas pour l'autre. Si vous avez des soucis pour vous lever, il vous faudra passer votre chemin malgré le matelas confortable. Deux TV dans un si petit appartement est-ce indispensable ? Le manque d'intimité, le rideau qui sépare la partie WC de la salle de douche est mal placé. Vous prenez une douche ouverte, pas très cool surtout le matin car la lumière un peu trop puissante éclaire et la chambre et la partie douche. Attention aussi au séjour aux toilettes nocturnes, nous avions l'impression que les WC suspendus allait tomber. Extrêmement bruyant, pas cool. Des soucis côté insonorité de l'appartement (même si le logeur ne peut pas forcément y faire grand chose). La porte principale fait vibrer les murs de l'appartement. Visiblement certains ne savent pas tenir une porte (surtout pour sortir leu chien...) Mais à mon avis un joint sur la porte de l'appartement serait à prévoir. Les photos en page d'accueil, sans doute à préciser le nom de l'appartement pour plus de clarté dans les descriptifs.

on avait oublié de passer l'aspirateur dans les coins + draps pas nettes (tâches rouges...) + cheveux ou poils sous un oreiller + pas de plan ni d'infos sur les possibilités de restauration environnantes

Un bel hébergement qui donne envie d'y retourner !

Un emplacement idéal pour découvrir le Vieux-Lille. à pied. Pas de souci pour se stationner à proximité (même devant la maison !). Nombreux commerces et cafés dans les environs. Aménagement cosy et chaleureux. Vaisselle et appareils de cuisson à disposition. Grand lit confortable. Belle salle de bain.

Un porte-manteau dans l'entrée (ou sous l'escalier qui monte à la chambre) serait un petit plus ! Le lit est dans la partie mezzanine : attention à la tête quand on se relève !

Goede nacht gehad met veel faciliteiten in de buurt en dichtbij het centrum

Het is een kleine studio voorzien van alle gemakken. Aan de voorkant van de studio is een keuken met tafel en bank. Aan de achterkant bevindt zich het bed en de badkamer. Het ziet er allemaal netjes en trendy uit. Daarnaast is het centrum te bereiken te voet in 15-20 minuten. Daarnaast bevinden zich genoeg bakkers, restaurants en supermarkten in de buurt om makkelijk boodschappen/uit eten te kunnen gaan.

Het toilet bevindt zich niet in een aparte afgesloten ruimte, wat niet geweldig is. Daarnaast is parkeren op straat aan de dure kant, dus je kan je auto beter in een parkeergarage of P+R zetten.

Very enjoyable. My first visit to Lille. Loved the apartment apart from it being on the 1st floor.

Good location. Liked the cobbled streets. Would have been helpful to have had information about the local bus which went to the centre and where to buy bus tickets. Would have saved money on taxis. The birthplace of Charles de Gaulle is just round the corner. Well worth a visit.

I am 5ft 1inch. The mirror in the bathroom was too high. I couldn’t reach the microwave or the upper shelves in the kitchen cupboards. I am disabled. I didnt realise that the apartment was on the 1st floor with 18 steps. I wouldnt have booked it if I had known.

We love the place!

It's sparkling clean, 2 flat screen TVs, comfortable bed & pillows, well equipped kitchen and apartment is well designed and organized for short or long stays. Very friendly staff and Gaegory is very nice and helpful! Great location, short walk to the Citadal, close to Vieu Lille, grocery stores/ bakeries/bars/restaurants are in short walking distance. We really enjoy this place during our stays!
