Our stay at Dar Sabra was beautiful. I surprised my husband with a get away to Marrakech , and if Im honest Marrakech is not short of hotels and Riads to stay at. I could have selected one of the bigger hotels closer to the Medina, but because I knew we would have quite an active week, I wanted somewhere peaceful with a luxurious feel ,Dar Sabra didn't dissapoint.
Firstly, we were upgraded to a Superior room by the front desk manager, Hassan, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The grounds and facilities are exquisite, African chique, efficiently managed by the Dar Sabras in house team of Jamal, Hamza, Nabil, Mehdi, and Monsif. Not forgetting the evening reception team Yusef and Mohamed. We also had a Hammam (tradional spa treatment)at the hotel by the lovely Aziza. The spa is beautiful and is a hidden gem within the grounds of the hotel. 3 swimming pools that where very well maintained.
Overall it was a great place to stay out from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Thanks for having us.

Loved the style and art of the hotel. The superior rooms were huge and especially great to accommodate my 3 grown up teenage children. The breakfast was superb. The pools, yes there are 3, are massive. The staff couldn't do enough for us to make our stay enjoyable. It's easy to get a taxi into the centre. We will stay again. Shoukran

Completely beautiful. Quiet and peaceful - exquisite. Friendly staff, stunning building.
some parts of the room could do with a little refurbishment but this does not spoil the overall feel.

The beds were a bit too hard for my liking

A very stylish place, super peaceful. Freezing cold pools (!) but lovely nonetheless. Staff were v helpful. Food was delicious.
Our room was near a noisy water system that did keep us awake. I did mention in the morning - hoping they could sort it!

The design of the hotel is simply amazing. We were upgraded to a better category due to availability. The staff spoke perfect English and helped us with booking taxis to a museum as well as to the airport. We felt very well taken care of.

Absolutely stunning resort in Marrakesh! The facilities, staff and rooms are incredible. We had a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave. The breakfast is great, the place is not far from the city centre. Thank you to Mr. Hassan at the front desk for making our stay wonderful! We will be back!

The architecture is stunning and really one of its kind. There is nothing that compares to this unique luxurious hotel.

There was a lot to love; Hassan at reception was super helpful arranging taxis ( ask for Hakim), spa treatments and answering all of my questions, big white fluffy towels, pools were beautiful and always clean, table tennis, tennis and small gym all great. The food menu was small but meal sizes were generous and I appreciated the large salad options as well as Moroccan options, the massages were great too, full hammam also available though I didn’t have one this time, service was generally good. I saw two different rooms, both very generous with seating areas as well as storage and spacious showers, baths, double sinks in some rooms.
Only a few minor things though with a few improvements this place could be very special, I found my bed very hard- I had to sleep on top of a folded duvet to make it softer. sometimes the service one day was great and the next it was patchy ( getting towels for the pool immediately one day and not at all the next day despite asking three times over two hours) though I know this could be due to a language difference and though most staff do understand and speak enough English I will make an effort to learn a little French/bring French language book before returning to make it easier for everyone. I know Hassan plans to help the team learn from these things so don’t let this put you off. parts of the complex better for Wi-Fi for working than others, ask Hassan where the best place or room is if you have to zoom, and there are lots of quiet places to do this. tea and coffee in room would be great as would Moroccan cakes/biscuits for purchase.

absolutely fell in love with the hotel. the pictures do not do justice to the hotel. a strong recommend I would book well in advance and get one of the private suites.
they only had one menu could have had different options or at least more choices for food

old and outdated. we booked a two room suite and the second room ( for kids) wasn’t actually attached . there bathroom had no shower head so wasn’t usable . room smelled of drains .

Shielded behind imposing wooden gates, you do not get a sense of how big Dar Sabra is. Pools are fantastic, room very comfortable and bath huge!

Very rude daytime front desk manager… Service was the worst I’ve ever seen in a hotel…

Hassan, the property manager was the sweetest, and always going the extra mile to please his guests. I had a very pleasant stay at Dar Sabra, the suite was huge and was super clean. The facilities are great too, and you feel you have enough privacy to really enjoy your stay. This trip was all I was looking for : relaxing and easily accessible to the center of Marrakech. I definitely recommend Dar Sabra.

3 major large pools, you can come with a family (kid friendly), solo or couple. Lovely, kind and extremely attentive staff. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villas, we loved the style and it had front yard as well as backyard with seating area.
The art, sculptures, and design are breath taking and unique.

Loved the pools and the art work and staff at reception.the high count cotton sheets and rain shower head..I live 15 minutes away and it was a divine relax..very generous late check out and early check in..loved my stay..coming back with guests who come to my cooking school, as a divine last night!
Dinner was typically disappointing...beer was a bit tepid but the staff were so good, all was forgiven.. would have loved there to have been a window to open or a terrace to step onto from my room..next time I will book the villa where there are millions of doors to fling open onto wonderland...

We wanted to end our trip in Morocco in a more quiet en environment outside the busy Medina and found this place. The staff is very friendly and we were even surprised by a room upgrade
Although the restaurant is cosy I would have loved and hoped to see some Moroccan dishes on the menu. Also the toilet and bathroom were not 100% clean.
