Nothing to complain about

Location
Whereas breakfast was excellent, dinner less so - expected better for £85/ person excluding gratuity and drinks.
5.0
- Lovely hospitable staff
- Cozy but modern rooms and amenities
- Outstanding 10/10 food
- Highly trained and professional waitresses and waitress
- The drive is a little long to the hotel but because of the amazing location this is obviously unavoidable

friendliest staff, great accommodations. and the food? absolutely divine and I seldom say that
the participants to the 10k came well before 10 and leaving the property was hell on that one way, should advise departure before 8

Apart from the drive to the hotel, very narrow road, the stay was excellent, the location was unbelievably beautiful. A very relaxig day away for us
More signage along the entry road

We have eaten in the restaurant before but never stayed overnight.
This was a surprise for my husband as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
The hotel did not disappoint. Would have loved to stay another night!
Dinner was amazing.
Breakfast was fabulous.
I don't think anything could have been better.

Location and setting are lovely, as are the staff
They need to offer an additional menu for dinner - the set price one at £75 is way too expensive (although delicious) and there are no other options. We had to go to their sister hotel to eat most nights as there were more options and at a cheaper price. The only lunch offering was sandwiches or soup too so more choice would be welcomed!

The location is very beautiful, the staff faultless and the food exceptional.

Good service, gond food, amazing location
Slightly expensive. Despite being ‘pet friendly’ dogs are not allowed in restaurant

magical, hidden. so beautiful and special
hard to access without a car but the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get where we needed to be.

nice location .
maybe the window separating room with bathroom not do great. nice idea, maybe a blind or similar to have some privacy when sitting on the toilet.

The hotel is a beautiful old farm turned hotel. It is quite isolated, situated in a valley right in front of a lake. Great restaurant with exceptional local produce, most of it from its own farm and garden. Very good selection of wines. We stayed one night, wish we had upped that to two or three. The perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.
