Hotel magnifique dans un parc luxuriant

La beauté du parc avec une végétation extraordinaire. Les logements qui se fondent dans la végétation. Une chambre spacieuse, sans vis à vis, agréable et très propre. La gentillesse et la bienveillance de l'ensemble du personnel. Un petit déjeuner varié et copieux.

La plage n'est pas incroyable. La piscine principale n'est pas chauffée mais ça pouvait aller ! Je trouve qu'il manque un restaurant avec des spécialités Mauriciennes ou des plats plus simples pour le soir. Mais ce sont des détails.

Wildly overpriced, terrible service, dirty bedding and towels, stray dogs/cats, very disappointed

- When we referenced our dissatisfaction we were given free late check out on our last day which made the day more comfortable for us. Unfortunately 4 hours extra in the room did make us feel happier about our stay. - Bizarrely, the Awali hotel attached is a million times nicer - the pools are modern and attractive with more comfortable loungers and an adults only area, the food was massively better (Infinity Blue), and the staff are attentive, friendly, and competent. They proactively asked guests around the pool if they wanted drinks and even came round with free snacks. We wished we had booked to stay there (it was cheaper) and that we had known before day 4 of our stay so that we could have made more of it.

Incredibly disappointed with our stay here. Over £400 a night for our room (B&B only), which is an extremely high price point at which we expected the utmost luxury and excellent facilities and services to match. The food offering was poor. The resort had a huge number of stray/wild cats and dogs roaming freely. The cats were at breakfast every morning jumping on tables and eating food, and rubbing against your legs under the table. Many guests were obviously uncomfortable but staff did nothing even when asked for help. Stray dogs laid right at the edge of the main pool throughout the day, often bothering guests. We felt quite strongly that this isn’t good enough for a 5* hotel. The service was very poor. Staff mostly didn’t interact with you, were not friendly or attentive, and generally seemed to lack competence and professionalism. The facilities were not up to 5* standard at all. Two very dated pools, one heated and full of families, one unheated and next to a canteen with stray dogs and again lots of children as there is no adults area or pool. The thing we were most unhappy about was housekeeping. The room was lovely and we were happy with it when we arrived. However I am pregnant and was being sick frequently. We explained this to our rep and when we saw our linen hadn’t been changed (despite their written information stating it would be done daily), we asked for it to be done since I’d been unwell and also spent more time in bed than usual on holiday. We had to ask for this daily until it was finally done on day 5 of a 6 day stay, and even then they didn’t change the pillowcases. They told us they’d done a ‘deep clean’ which wasn’t at all what we were asking - we just wanted fresh linens. In addition to this, linens and towels were stained and old which shocked us. We were also woken at 8am by housekeeping knocking on our door and subsequently walking in while we were undressed at 8.45am. Totally unacceptable!

We had an unforgettable family vacation at the Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort to celebrate our 10 year’s anniversary. The warm and welcoming staff ensured a seamless stay, catering to our every need. Josh was our dedicated host and was excellent! The culinary experience was exceptional, with a diverse range of restaurants to choose from each night, offering something for every palate. Our daughter was thoroughly entertained at the fantastic kids' club, while we relaxed and rejuvenated. The resort's amenities were truly impressive, featuring a massive pool and a separate heated pool, perfect for all ages. The beautifully manicured golf course was a highlight for us. Overall, Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort is a true paradise on earth, offering something for everyone. We can't wait to return and create more memories with our family.

Paradise!

Excellent hotel with friendly staff. I very much enjoyed the comfortable room with beautiful bath and terrace.

This is really a hotel for people with children. The one heated pool was covered up in children everyday...so if you have kids, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would suggest the sister property, Awali, next door if you do not have kids.

Aesthetically pleasing with great golf course. Lacking attention to detail.

The golf course was beautiful. Breakfast was good. The hotel has a nice look and feel. It was reasonably priced.

The cleaning wasn’t thorough at all, barely took 5 mins. It was no surprise that the hotel room didn’t feel clean. The toilet had a foul smell. We were assigned a butler when we checked in who was meant to tell us about the property. We reached out to him and he didn’t respond initially, when we called he told us he had a family issue he was dealing with and he sent some brochures. After that he reached out when we had checked out so it was good as we didn’t have one.

Nothing to fine the Good or even normal compared to the others in Mauritius!

No smile staff. When I asked or talked to the staff, they looks like ‘pls don’t talk to me’ without any smiling. Should be improved the customer care. Bugs and ants world in my room, getting worse.

Séjour idyllique!

Le cadre environnemental de l'hôtel par sa végétation, l'accès à la plage, mais également l'architecture des ensembles immobiliers parfaitement intégrés font de cet destination une expérience magnifique! Il faut vraiment mentionné la qualité, le professionnalisme et la gentillesse de tout le personnel de l'hôtel. Les restaurants sont très diversifiés et proposent des plats variés et de qualité même si le coût est assez élevé au final. Il n'en reste que cet hôtel est vraiment exceptionnel!

Butler - Josh - au TOP ! d'une extrême gentillesse. Bienveillance du personnel L'accès aux 2 parcours de golf en voiturette. Green fee inclus. Le diner à la carte, GinJa (Japonais) et Le Château. Chambre spacieuse et très confortable Merci à Mme. France pour sa gestion et son professionnalisme à la gestion de nos demandes particulières.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, supportive with whatever you needed. Room constantly cleaned throughout the day, all the restaurants were delicious. All of the facilities are clean, and the inclusive paddle boarding, bikes, etc were great. On checkout, there are shower and changing facilities which are super useful

The shirt and shoe wearing policy of an evening at restaurants is a bit out dated

Outstanding .

The property is extremely beautiful, unique , everything is in white with a French influence , calm and tranquil. The grounds are big and you will never get bored exploring and walking .too many activities to do. The spa is excellent. Every restaurant in the hotel provided an excellent service with amazing food everywhere with great varieties . The rooms are beautiful , clean and big . The staff service is outstanding , very caring and accommodating, we were had an issue with a dinning reservation system as we have arrived late , and the reception staff and Marjorie handled it extremely professionally , gently and kindly and they went the extra mile to accommodate us. This gesture made our stay memorable at heritage. Literally every hotel staff are very attentive , smiling and welling to help with any need you have. We surely will come Back as heritage is one of our favorite in Maurituis after staying in different hotels.

The design, the appearance, the location are the strong points of the hotel. Breakfast was superb, especially the local dishes served in the corner, next to the kitchen. The pastries were absolutely great. The heated pool was a great benefit, especially when you're visiting the island in July-August.

We had a mixed feeling about communication. The concierge service requires some review - in our opinion it's better to have an app or a website to request services, rather than a dedicated person. In some cases we had to wait few hours for an answer. The schedules of activities, such as gym or excursions were sent to us via WhatsApp, which may be modern and quick, but not as efficient as a website or an app. The additional bed for our son was less than comfortable. There are very few eating options between 15:30 and 19:00, so don't get hungry between these hours or look for food outside. We didn't know that the hotel restaurants had dress code for dinners in all, except for one, restaurants. Not expecting this, we did not pack long trousers so we missed the dinners at the hotel. We believe such information should be clearly communicated during the booking, not only during the check-in.

The checkin was bad. We made the reservation via booking and they didnt have it in their records. This caused a long wait till the checkin (1 hour!). On the checkout they were rushing us before checkout time.

Excelence in wonderland

Half board option with buffet breakfast with marvelous dishes in taste and presentation and delicious dinner in all the restaurants. Spatious rooms, plenty of space on the domain including the beach. A bonus is a heated pool for cooler days. You have included a lot of activities like cycling, and light water sports. People around were always smiling and they were very helpfull in the customer department. You get a personal assistant who solves all your issues. We have to thank to Nisha and Hannah for the dedication, commitment and joy in making us a holiday of our dreams.

If you buy the HB option pay attention that you are not allowed to use this plan in all the restaurants unless you cancel the plan for certain dinners, you get a voucher that is in value much less than the average payment for one dinner resulting from your HB plan.

Superb resort

The resort is superbly designed, with incredible gardens, spaces and villas. Rooms are like in the pictures, spacios and beautiful furnished. Staff is always helpful and friendly and the service was excellent. There are a lot of employees always doing good work to maintain the resort in it's spotless state. Food is excellent with various restaurants to have the dinner. Sharmine we thank you for organizing our stay and for the lovely surprise of the candle light dinner on the beach. That experience was incredible.

Exceeded our expectations - highly recommend

Tasteful and elegant property with staff that prioritized client wellbeing and satisfaction. We had a lovely time and there was so much to take advantage of at the property - complementary sauna/hammam/spa, yoga, bike riding, daily excursions and activities, rum tastings. We ate at three of the twelve restaurants and had delicious and varied meals nightly; the breakfast buffet in the main hall was also fabulous and very reasonably priced. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend.

The hotel grounds are beautiful, location is perfect, and cherry on top - the staff is incredible. fantastic second time guest - would recommend for quiet luxury and beautiful family

excellent facilities, modern luxury, great pools and beaches bd rooms were lovely

while lovely and relaxing, it could have done with some more entertainment on the evenings - themed nights or live music or shows. it was very boring at night - restaurants like ginja and c beach were great vibe, the other restaurants were quite dull in the evening
