accessibility can be difficult but it is a 14th century building. Need warning on booking.
when found room very difficult to access for wife the staff were brilliant and we were given an upgrade to beautiful room with easy access.

great location.
dirty glass in room. when shown to the room we were told that people always complain about the room but that the very loud fan noise would go off at 11pm! it did but it put us on the wrong footing from the start. it is an old building but just a bit scruffy. crumbs on floor from night before while eating breakfast. no beans with breakfast.
lumpy old mattress. hard pillows.

One of our favourite locations. Lively and yet relaxing hotel and pub. Great for countryside and coastal walks. Very welcoming and full of character.
Only slight downside was the choice of seafood on the menu. Could have done with more fish and maybe pasta dishes. Also, vegetarian options.

breakfast and dinner both good
pillows were lumpy and room (no 7) pretty noisy with fan start up at 7 am. Otherwise room very good but noise did detract from that

Food & location is very good, staff very helpful.
Booking.com advertised the room with a sea view. We had a view of wheelie bins, a thatched roof and not much else. Disappointed to say the least , we stayed in 22 and the view on that occasion was fantastic. The shower was only Luke warm at best am & pm!!

This location's fantastic, and all the staff are extremely helpful .
The hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint and new carpets. Basically, a little bit of TLC would make it a fantastic place to stay .

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was great with a nice breakfast. Lactose intolerant and very helpful with this. Room was very clean and modern but with character features of the hotel. Beautiful location. Very good value for money.

Lovely quaint little place for a get away, massive plus points for no TV in the bar area, room was all we needed, a tiny bit dated but not a problem, food was very good indeed
