Just what I needed the pool is outside my room so had a couple of swims also

I made my own so my room had stuff To cater for that.. the only motel who has a bottle opener can opener !!

Great price great location great room great hosts makes a happy traveler to the Gold Coast

Great little motel . Excellent room with comfy bed tv toaster microwave kettle and fridge. Had cups cutlery glasses and plates for two people and enough tea bags to keep me going eight days. When I needed fresh towels I just grabbed them from the room servicing trolley! The vending machine kept the drinks cold and was very reasonably priced. Bathroom was spotlessly clean with fresh towels face washers and a very nice smelling body lotion. I wish I had enough hair to use the hair dryer but made use of the endless hot water in the shower. Staff were very helpful and at all times very polite . If it was warmer I would have used the pool that looked very clean. Everything you need is just across the road , bus stop , supermarket , chemist , butcher , bottle shop and Chut the coffee shop who do excellent breakfast and good coffee.

Unfortunately and at no fault of the motel road works were in operation for six of the eight nights I stayed here. That is reality of staying on the Gold Coast Highway while the tram is extended.

Had to leave early unfortunately

Due to Covid lockdown we had to leave three days earlier than planned. The owners where very good about giving a refund for those nights .

Seaside bargain

The older style motel has been beautifully updated. My room (queen with a single) was very spacious. The windows which overlook the courtyard and pool are mirrored on the outside for privacy. Although on the Gold Coast highway, I could not hear traffic noise.

The bed was not super comfortable but nor was it terrible.

Location was perfect to where I needed to be for a work function and very close to teh beach. Shame there are road works going on at the moment for the new tram line but once it is finished it will be a bonus.

Bed was unbelievably comfy and plenty of parking.

No sound proofing, and the blinds were rubbish, if anyone was out in the courtyard or in the pool you could hear it all.

The motel was clean, fresh and really tidy. It was close to shops and Woolworths was just across the road. Rooms were freshly painted and very clean for a basic motel.The staff was very friendly as well.

Good for a cheap stay could be better.

Friendly staff and very close to the beach nice out door settings by the pool.

Being so close to the beach the lack of washing and drying was a pain ended up bagging the wet clothes to take home. The room was not fully clean marks on mirror and shower and just grime here and there. And if you wanted a hot shower you had to sacrifice water pressure.

Not a good experience

The look of the pool. But we did not go in it.

The noise from the main road and the side road was horribly loud , we were not able to sleep well. The pillows are too thin, there was a dirty towel left in our shower. The sound of the water running from the apartment under us sounded like it was in our room. Whether it was from the shower, toilet or kitchen, the sound felt like it was in our room. We left 2 days early bc we could not stay any longer as we did not get a good night sleep for the first 2 nights.
