Great experience just wish there we signs on the roads and steps maybe for elders to get down to the creek say my mom had to watch from the hill because she could not get up and down the big drop by the creek to watch the grands playing

This place has everything you need! The beds are comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy or you can relax in the hot tub. You are right on the creek and if you walk to the left, there is a deep crystal clear swimming hole. Kids had so much fun jumping off of the cliff and into the water. Bring water shoes if you decide to go down to the creek and you’ll be able to walk for miles. There are no neighbors so you have the place to yourselves!

The cabin was clean, spacious, and beautiful. It was on 23 acres with a creek running through it. Very secluded but close enough to the lake. My family was happy at the cabin with the creek and the big deck to enjoy without going into town.

The house was very roomy and had everything we needed. The location was great with a clear, cool stream along the property. Would definitely go back

We had a great time at the Big Moose Lodge just out of Broken Bow Oklahoma. Cabin isSpacious, well furnished tho at nearly 70 yrs young I would have appreciated a recliner. The place was clean, kitchen had all things needed. The outdoor area well maintained and good seating/play area. Trails a bonus. The creek is just wonderful, so much natural beauty at every direction. No close neighbors made it even better, peaceful/serene.Great choice for adults or families who enjoy the outdoors.

Our stay at Big Moose Lodge was great! The land around the Lodge was beautiful and so peaceful. We enjoyed all the hiking trails and our kids enjoyed playing in the creek. Campfires were made at night along with many smores. The kids loved having scavenger hunts and playing games with the family. We are already planning our next trip there.

My extended family loved this house and the kids are already asking when we can go back. The seclusion and creek running near the house makes it a peaceful escape. The 4 king beds with private baths is an excellent set up for mutliple families with children. It had everything we needed!

Very nice cabin that makes a great getaway from the busyness of the outside world. It is pretty isolated so be aware there are several miles of dirt roads to reach it and no cell service at the cabin. There was wifi however. Loved the coziness of the cabin and amenities

My family had a blast at this cabin for the weekend! We came during the fall, so it was chilly and the leaves were turning - it was so beautiful. Outside we were able to "hike" the trails on site, play in the creek, enjoy smores around the fire, play on the playground, sit on the porch & take in the beautiful views, and soak in the hot tub. Inside there was plenty of room for our 4 families (7 adults, 4 kids) to eat, hang out, and sleep. The cabin itself is beautiful and the kitchen was stocked with all the tools we needed for cooking. There also is a handicapped accessible room which was amazing for my grandparents! It included its own ramp entrance from the driveway. It is definitely secluded, so cell service was limited but the wifi got us the info we needed while we were there. It was so refreshing to have a house of adults and teenagers NOT be on their phones all weekend :) The drive into the cabin from the main road is long and graveled, so we went with the intention of staying put once we got there. Our Apple Maps also told us to make a wrong turn onto some company's property so I would definitely reach out beforehand just to make sure you know where you're going before you get out there with limited signal!

My family just returned from our second stay in this cabin. We love the layout, the open spaces and the seclusion. It’s got everything you need for a wonderful, relaxing getaway in the trees.

The cabin is amazing! The creek right behind the place was so much fun. We went fishing and walked the trails a couple times.
This place is not easy to get to, if you don't mind driving on a rough and bumpy gravel road then go for it. This caused us to change our plans to go out to eat or go into town as often as we would have liked.
Also make sure you have a lot of bottled water before you get there! There is no filtered water, only tap from well water which was super smelly. The place also has a septic tank sprinkler system that goes off a couple times a day so it smells when you go outside for about hour or so.

Beautiful modern and clean cabin surrounded by incredible nature. We loved that the cabin sat right on the creek where we swam, fished, and played.

My family and I come to broken bow every year before thanksgiving, so we’ve stayed at a lot of cabins. Plenty of room here, the property is gorgeous. We loved the layout of the bedrooms and the outside access from one of them was a plus. 2 of the 4 bedrooms had tvs. The loft got really hot when the heater was on. We thought the game room would better serve as the bunk room, so the kids could close the door. The loft would be a great place for a play room! It took about 6-8 miles to get there from the main road, the gravel road was rough on my little suv so we didn’t leave the property once we got there. We enjoyed the hiking trails, the hot tub, and the fire pit . We would definitely recommend this cabin and hope to book again!

1. Called upon arrival and no one ever called us. Directions from the logging road no gps. Very rough.
Roads are very rough either way
2. No one ever returned my call A neighbor finally came along and said go up the road
3. Dirty. Dust bunnies on floors. Cob webs on fans. Spider web with spider above master bath tub
4. No real internet service nor much of a tv service Some calls went out some did not
5. Cabin was big accommodate numbers it says. Plenty of bathrooms. Kitchen open
No ice cause refrigerator not hooked up to water line.
6. The creek was beautiful and running
Sound was lovely
If you want to be out away from everyone and everything it is ok
But if you need to find it. Best road is from hwy 259
Trails are ok and it is definitely away from everything

Excellent stay. We will be returning We saw deer, turkey, coyote and birds. Also hiked trails, swam in the creek, ziplined and rode horseback at local sites and played many games on property with a large family. We enjoyed the pit for bone fires outside. Excellent vacation.

Good location for us. We all play guitars and jam all weekend, so this location was perfect for us. No close neighbors to annoy. First one I’ve rented that actually is as big as it looks in the pictures. A really nice place to get away from all the noise.

House was filled with things to do! Lots of hangout spots for adults and kids, creek was awesome! Absolutely everything and more than expected! Highly recommend. We spent hours on the porch playing games while the kids played on the creek!
4.0 / 10.0
Overall, the house and creek bed were great. Very spacious and well maintained. What I wish was told to us before we booked was that the property is 6 miles off the main road. 6 miles of logging roads! This means it was 15 min each way every time we wanted to even just get to the main drag, plus another 10-15 min to get to a store or park. We did a lot of driving.
Because the roads were so bad, we had to replace a busted tire, and now have to take our fairly new van in for service because either the excessive dust clogged a sensor or a rock knocked something.
THERE IS NO CELL PHONE SERVICE! Which for some people, might be fine, but just be aware, you will get no service. This would have been fine if the Wifi worked properly. It did not. We could only get basic texts to go through, no calls. No emails, no streaming music, no streaming shows, and we had a person that had prepared to work remotely while we were there, and they were totally not able to . So if you want seclusion and no way for the outside world to get ahold of you, then this place is perfect. The creek was so much fun for our kids to play in.
The host did not start the trip off on a good foot as she basically accused us of doing something wrong, because we stayed outside of the property waiting for the cleaners to be done so we could get our early check in. What we did not know when we intended to just drop our trailer off and wait for check in while exploring the town, was that we would have no cell phone service, and we were already pretty lost trying to find the property, and no way of finding our way back out since we couldn't look anything up on the map. She also had agreed to a later check out, but then took it back, even though I had the agreement in writing.
I enjoyed the area, but I would not stay at this property again.

Disaster
If i would have known about the 6 miles on none road to get to this property, i would have never booked it. As it stands, i will spend more money repairing my 300k motor home, and my vehicles than i paid for renting this property. The house was nice and very wooded but getting in and out is another story.
We got in barely but getting out the motor home got stuck in a ditch. Luckily very nice contractors came by to help get us out but the damage was already done. It’s at the dealer getting fixed now so we’ll see what the bill is. After several weeks and 3 detail cleanings of my cars, i still cannot get the dirt and dust out. There was never ANY mention about these conditions. Very misrepresented.. i will never rent from them again.

Best vacation home ever!
This home was fantastic! We have never stayed in a vacation home that was stocked and supplied as well as this one was. From plenty of towels and toilet paper to a fully stocked kitchen it had everything we needed. We spent most nights playing cornhole on the patio and hanging out. Our whole group was in agreement that if we ever come back to Broken Bow we will definitely stay here again! Nancy was our guest contact and she was easy to get ahold of and prompt in her replies.

Amazing Lodge
The property is impeccable. Spacious, Clean, and New. No funky smells or weird pictures or objects. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the plates, cups, pots, pans, grilling utensils. Bathrooms had clean bath towels, bath gel, and toilet paper. It also had a second refrigerator! Bedrooms were large. Gathering areas were huge. The outside property was nicely shaded next to a beautiful creek, huge deck area. Amazingly, no mosquitos bit me outside under the trees or on the deck area, and I'm a magnet for mosquitos. Will be going back to the Bid Moose Lodge.

Family Togetherness
Renting was very easy once we found all we were looking for. Getting in touch with property manager to ask questions was frustrating. Calls were not returned & emails not answered. Only 1 call was returned & that was when we were trying to locate the property. We had trouble locating with the GPS. Manager could probably tell by my message I was frustrated & Getting upset. Otherwise everything was great.

Better than the pictures!!
Everything about our stay was amazing. The house is beautiful and perfectly laid out. The deck and screened porch were a wonderful place to spend time while it sprinkled outside. The land is UNBELIEVABLE. The house sits next to a creek where we spent most of our weekend. There is a cute playground and fire pit, and so much land for the kids to explore. We came with 2 families of four and could have easily had 2 more families with us. The kitchen was fully stocked, a bathroom in every room and a huge living/dining area.
If I had to give any constructive input it would be that the one bedroom my husband and I stayed in (the handicapped accessible room) had a door that didn’t latch closed so we had to hold it closed by putting shoes in front of it. That’s an easy fix though and everything else was wonderful.
We will DEFINITELY come back to this cabin again and again. So happy we found this place!

Mini Christmas Weekend
It was a wonderful stay. The decorations for Christmas were absolutely beautiful. We took family photos in front of the huge tree and took advantage of the beauty outside too. There were trails to explore and water to skip rocks in. The kids loved the outdoor playset.
Warm up the hot tub right when you get there, it takes a bit of time to warm up which all hot tubs do.
We couldn't get the air hockey table to work at our stay but everything else was in great condition.
I do recommend not trying to find the cabin after dark. The directions given were accurate but it's very hard to see on the gravel road at night if you aren't farmiliar with the area.
Over all highly recommend! Would absolutely stay again.

We love this house!
This is our second year staying at this house. The house has all you need to cook and entertain. We had 3 families all with young kids, and there was plenty of space inside to play. The kids loved playing on the swing set, finding lightning bugs at night on the HUGE property, and playing (and fishing) in the creek. We highly recommend this house and the property owner is great to work with. We look forward to coming back next year!

Exceptional cabin!
The photos online do not do this place justice. It was absolutely stunning. Peaceful and quiet right next to a beautiful stream. Our 3 year old grandson loved playing near the stream. The owner was wonderful to communicate with. Can’t wait to book our next trip here!

We had a good time enjoying the hot tub and playing in the creek. Had a great time walking on the trails, very refreshing. Plenty of space for our group of 8. We love it. We would recommend double checking any kitchen dishes or pans before using. Some were still dirty and assumed the people before us didn't clean before putting up. Double check ahead of time for whats in the game room if interested.
